WORST EXPERIENCE WITH RESTAURANT WORKER. I had a really disappointing experience at Jolly Bee at Location in Great Mall, Milpitas, CA 95035. I was having dinner with my family at Jolly Bee Great Mall at 5:30 pm on 01/29 and my 1 year-old choked on the french fry so she throw up. I looked for someone worked there to help me clean up the mess on the floor. My husband and I waved at the lady (her name is Linda) several times, she ignored us, kept doing her stuff which was taking out the trash. There was no way she did not see us cause we sat next the the trash station. She then walked to the other trash station, we waved and pointed to the mess on the floor again, she saw that and gave us a dead look, staring and the attitude. I thought I was mistaking her. I walked to the cashier and explained the situation that I needed someone help me clean up because my baby throw up. The lady asked Linda, she then walked to me, kept giving me the dead look, staring and whole bunch of attitude. We cleared the way so she could clean it easier. She did mumbling something while cleaning and kept giving me the look. I understand this is a self serve restaurant but instead of giving the attitude and the look, she could offer me something I can clean up myself. I got the $10.99 combo yesterday and it comes with the 2 piece chicken, 1 side, and a soda, but they didn't give me a soda cup. When I ask for my soda, the server told me I have to specify on the receipt that I want a soda? That is like the most ridiculous thing I ever heard! The menu already indicates there's a soda. At any other fast food like KFC would give me the soda cup without arguing with me. Jollibee ended up giving me a small water cup for the soda instead. Heck yes for Filipino food! One of my favorites and I love their fried chicken. This location is the most crowded even on weekdays because it's in great mall. I usually get the two piece fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. For a large party We get the 6 piece fried chicken with 3 mashed potatoes and 3 mango pie. The fried chicken tasted so good with a dip of gravy. Also, I really liked their mango pie and banana jack fruit pie. I never tried other things on the menu like the burgers and the sweet spaghetti. Quarantine Eats #5 Not sure why this place gets hate, but it's been nothing but good to me! The fried chicken here in my opinion beats both KFC and Popeyes. Service: It's a fast food joint, so I don't expect 5 star service. Everyone I've interacted with here has been polite, quick, and has gotten my order out correctly. They all end with the familiar "Have a Jolly day!" So, I'm satisfied. Quality/Taste: I love their spicy fried chicken; it's always been moist on the inside with a nice crunchy skin and a warm kick. Dip that chicken in gravy and well, you're gravy. At first I was also skeptical of their spaghetti. Cue the clip of an Italian or Italian American saying that calling this spaghetti is a mortal sin. But I ended up loving it, with its hot dog slices and banana ketchup meat sauce. Any sweeter though, and I'd bye felicia that in a heartbeat. Their deluxe chicken sandwich is on par with Chick-Fil-A's as well. Price/Value: This is comparable to other fast food joints in Silicon Valley. Portions are sufficient for a meal combo and are priced between $9 to $12 on average. I typically end up getting $20 worth for myself, because I'm a big eater. Atmosphere: Again, it's a fast food joint. It's got a place to stand in line, a place to wait, a place to pick up your food, a place to sit if COVID wasn't happening now. We came here because I was craving fried chicken, but when I was brosing through the pictures on Yelp.com waiting in line I came across this picture that I didn't know what it was. So I just showed the guy the picture and he told me that is was their Steak burger. So I tried it nd like it very much. It's just plain hamburger patty meat, which they give you 2 and they pour this gravy over the meat which sits next to the white rice...yummy...they had mushrooms on it too but I didn't eat the mushrooms. It was plain and simple but it was good. This place was pretty busy for being inside a mall. There were no more seats so we had to sit in the party room which filled up pretty quick. First time back to Great Mall location after a while. I think they were closed to remodeling, because when I came this weekend the place looked renovated and a lot nicer. I went through Yelp and ordered online. After placing the order it said it was going to take an hour for my order to get ready!?!?! I went over to the restaurant, told them I had a online order and sure enough my order was in line getting prepped, waited like 5 min, the lady there was super nice and got my order ready, and everything was there! Online ordering worked out great, didn't have to wait an hour like the app said. Definitely worth ordering online if you getting takeout because the line was crazy. Ever since I moved away from SoCal, I've been missing the Filipino food that my psisses mom used to make. Jollibee came close but nothing compares to home cooking. My bf and I ordered a fried chicken combo with spaghetti and pineapple juice and we both thought the chicken was decent especially with the gravy they provide with it. The spaghetti however, was a little on the greasy side. There was a bunch of oil in the corner of the spaghetti box and the sauce had a layer of oil on top of it. Got food from here yesterday. Their social distancing plan is up to par and their customer service was great also. They do close at 7pm, so If you want your Jollibee fix, you better get to the door before 7pm. I got the spaghetti and 2 pieces of fried chicken. If you want a fast food place that works like a well oiled machine, then this is NOT the place for you. You will see half a dozen people working behind the counter, seemingly doing very small tasks, like one person putting on a lid for soda while the other bags their food. The system does NOT make sense and it reminds me too much of the work system in the Philippines, which, from my own personal experience, NEVER WORKS. You don't need half a family to do one task, it makes things run soooooooo inefficiently and slow. This is a management issue and I feel like employees need to be trained more efficiently. This is NOT fast food. It's a Monday afternoon at 1pm and it took me a good twenty minutes standing in line to get my order in. A lot of people in line got extremely upset but one of the employees said "there's nothing we can do", while another employee is meandering around looking for something to do. We go here a lot and we never had any problem with the food. Jollibee is hella expensive for a fast food joint. The quality ain't even superb, yet it's so expensive. One thing for sure is that it's reallllyyyy good. We always come here so why not get the special gift cards at Costco? I think we saved $10 that way. I always get the spaghetti with chicken joy and sometimes get the yami burger. I prefer the drumstick. The gravy is the bomb dot com. We ALWAYS order a ton of gravy every Thanksgiving and use it at home cuz it's THAT good. KFC gravy can't compare!!! I love dipping the fresh crispy chicken skin into the gravy and eat it with rice. Yummmm. They are always coming out with new stuff on the menu so that's cool. You can reserve the room in the back for parties. I think I am going to do that for my daughter so that she can be in touch with her Filipino side lol. She is not allowed to eat fast food but Jollibee will be an exception only because it's Filipino. You can order party trays here so that is very cool as well. I've never had a problem here and I hope it stays that way. I'm skimming other people's reviews and some people said they found flies in their food or got food poisoning. Man I hope that never happens to me because I love eating Jollibee! Came by because my friend snapchatted me a picture of her halo halo and I was intrigued enough to have it after eating a full meal (milkshake, fries, chicken sandwich and all) at Chick Fil A in Fremont. The halo halo is basically beans and jelly cubes layered at the bottom of a plastic cup with shaved ice above it and then two scoops of ice cream (Ube and Mango) and a little flan. You kind of wiggle your spoon around to begin mixing it all. It was similar to a drink if had in a restaurant in Berkeley so I was intrigued to see if there was also a likeness in taste. The drink was good but there was a bit too much ice so the drink tasted like sugar water at some parts but overall it was sweet and refreshing on a warm day. It's also just a fun drink to try. This location is 100% better than the one on Tully in San Jose. Their spicy chicken actually has a kick. Today, I order the Fiesta Palabok. It was delicious and savory as usually. I also ordered the Family Pack that includes a bucket of 10 pieces of chicken, three sides, and two pies. The spicy chicken here is made correctly. My partner had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and for a fast food chicken sandwich, he said that it was really good. What makes that sandwich is the sauce they put in it. I wish they packed some of that sauce with every chicken order. The pies always come hot! I always recommend people to eat them while they are hot. The peach mango pie is miles above McDonalds pies. I finally got the chance to eat at Jollibees two months ago and I must say it was the best decision I ever made. Normally when I come here, I would pass it by due the high price but now I cannot leave it. It tastes better than KFC and you can get more portions than expected. Even in Singapore, I cannot let it go of Jollibee because once you eat here for the first time, you will get addicted. Service in these joints is so friendly and the employees won't be satisfied until you are. Although in both countries it costs me more than $5 it is still worth it. I tried the chicken joy with some mashed potatoes and adobo rice and must declare it wasn't so bad. There is less bone than KFC and it smells so much nicer. I really like the pineapple juice and now it seems that any trip to the Great Mall or Singapore is not complete unless I get a sip of it. The pineapple juice didn't taste sour nor was it too sweet. I probably believe it's fresh squeezed. At the Great Mall location I got to talk with the manager and he was really friendly and patient with me because I was a first time eater at Jollibees. From my researches, Jollibees is a franchise in the Philippines and became known for Fried chicken with a brown gravy dip. This is located in the Great Mall. By the Starbucks and Jollibees mall entrance (facing Home Depot) Heard much good and comforting things about a Filipino style breakfast. I heard it comes with garlic fried rice, a meat protein of choice and a fried egg w/ pickled veggies and a tomato slice. I've tried at other Asian/Filipino restaurants. But this place did not meet the mark. I was warned by those who prefer this meal not to expect much from Jollibees version, but I was determined to give it a good breakfast try (although I've been told since its carb rich with a protein), folks enjoy it for lunch or dinner. We ordered two types. One with a Filipino sausage (longonisa) and another with marinated sweet pork slices (tocino). Ok here's the run down, both meats were very dry. The 2 pc "sausages" (longonisa) had a texture more like a hot dog, but half the size, it did not have any fat grounds. The Filipino "bacon" (tocino) was sweet and reddish in color but it was jerky like. The garlic rice was plentiful and I did like. However the fried egg must have been a "small" fresh egg. It was one very small and made to "well done". I didn't see the pickled vegetables (daikon, carrot) or a fresh tomato slice. Does anybody know of any places in the Silicon Valley that serves a better (Filipino) breakfast, so I can give it another try. read more

This is a great restaurant! I really like the fact that to enter you have to go through the outside & line up. I like the fact they have the red signs on the floor about social distancing & they enforce it. Also they only let a certain number of people in at a time. They also temperature check each and every individual going into the restaurant. Everyone is super clean inside and they plenty of hand sanitizer and everyone is wearing gloves. The store is kept very clean & the employees are so nice! They even open the doors for you. I really enjoy their halo halo & their yum yum burger. This Jollibee is awesome. Wow a Jollibee at the mall =D. I got to try this Jollibee out on a trip to northern California and we needed a quick bite to eat. Stepping into this place, I noticed right away how clean everything was. Granted it was quite early (around 10:15 am) but still it's always an added bonus to see a clean restaurant. It was also nice to see there was no line yet and I was able to order quickly. I decided to go for the Jolly spaghetti and the Ube pearl cooler. This came out to $6.87 - not bad at all. The person taking my order was pretty polite and they gave my food pretty quickly. The spaghetti and the boba did not disappoint my taste buds. The spaghetti was very tasty with the traditional sweetness that you can only find with Filipino spaghetti. The Ube pearl cooler was great too. The Ube drink itself was still cold and the boba was soft and chewy. It was a perfect treat for a nice summer day. I was pretty happy with my short trip to this place. I'm glad we chose to eat here. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place, the friendliness of the staff and the pretty quick service. I never had Filipino food except for pancit and lumpias but they were homemade by either friends or family; and by family I mean actual family even though I am full blooded Vietnamese. My Cousins are half Vietnamese and half Filipino. Anyway... Came here before 4pm on a hot ass Saturday after a long day setting up for my Daughter's pool party and was completely exhausted by the time we arrived for her friend's 8th birthday. For one- had no idea this is a Filipino joint For two- had no idea this is considered a fast food joint For three- had no idea Red Ribbon is part of Jollibee (Red Ribbon is a bakery) For four- had no idea this place is all of that and does private parties too This is where RSVP'ing is crucial because upon arriving the food was served; each person gets to pick one out of the two choices.. I forgot the first choice but I chose spaghetti and a fried chicken drumstick w/ gravy.. each person gets an order of fries, a mango-pineapple something (looks like the apple pies from McD's), and a drink.. The spaghetti was OK, the chicken was OK, the fries were very bland, I didn't try the pie thingy, and the drinks were refillable (soda fountain) so overall the experience was pretty good.. very decent. What I was impressed was the coordination and the agenda of the "party" because there was at least 30 people and the guy w/ the microphone made sure to engage all the guests w/ the games.. at the end Jollibee came out and asked me for a dance so that was fun, I'll admit, haha.. If you do a party here you cannot bring any outside cake, you must use Red Ribbon. I didn't try the cake because I'm on a strict nutrition plan at the moment but according to my Daughter it was good and vanilla flavor. The cleanup happened fast. before we left the mess was cleaned and I started seeing the place opened up for diners to eat.. instead of it being closed off for the party.
