We had never had Jollibees. My husband had never heard of it. I on the other hand was excited to see a location near where we were staying. Well close enough. The chicken was good seasoned and fried perfectly. My spicy was flavorful and not just hot. My husband loved his mild. You don't get to pick the pieces for the 2pc chicken Joy. I didn't know that. I was fine with the dark meat though. I'm a little indifferent about the sides. The coleslaw was good, the mashed potatoes and gravy were decent. In not really sure about the adobo rice. The lil cup of gravy to dip your chicken in was delicious though. My husband also loved that peach mango pie. The guy who took our order was nice enough. I usually head to the Filipino Jollibee chain when craving their fried chicken with gravy. This one is a bit of a drive for me but I had a lunch craving! It was pretty busy with the tables full and a long to-go ordering line which I was in. With only one cashier it took awhile, and then another long wait. This was not surprising as other Jollibees have the same slow fast food service. I like that the place and rest rooms appear clean and well kept up. The chicken was ok and the gravy delicious, reminding me of childhood Swanson's TV dinner gravy. The biscuit and mashed potatoes were meh and the pineapple drink way too sweet for my taste. Came to Jolibee the other day because I wanted to try the Katseye collab :) so here I am. I ordered the Katseye special KBBQ chicken sandwich and the Katseye 2 pc KBBQ meal w/1 side. The chicken itself is very sweet, it kinda has that gochujang flavor to it. The chicken sandwich is pretty well balanced in flavor. Not going to lie, the chicken here is pretty dang good. After some small shopping at Seafood City, we decided we needed to refuel on food. Hubby had never been to Jollibee, so I suggested it. Presently, they are out of Spicy chicken and was told the spices aren't available but should be back sometime in January. I enjoy the chicken here and the adobo rice. So did my husband. This happened today, While we were in line waiting, there was an elderly lady checking her order with a staff member wearing a gray uniform, who appeared to be the manager named Rodaly. She was extremely rude to the elderly lady, and after the lady turned her back, Rodaly made a disrespectful facial expression toward her co-worker. She is very unprofessional and disrespectful toward customers -- someone with that kind of attitude should not be working in front of customers. The fried chicken always hits the spot, especially if you have it with that bomb gravy OML! Spaghetti is tasty as always, I love it when they have it extra saucy and the peach mango pie is to die for. I have ordered from the store and have ordered through the phone. The phone call was super reliable and convenient, that way I'm just in and out of the restaurant. They asked when I would be there to pick it up - I said 15 minutes, but I actually got there in 10 minutes, and it was already ready! Ambiance - Usually a very clean interior. I usually go in the morning so it's not really too crowded but I do know that it can get busy during lunch rush hour. It's in kind of a run-down plaza next to the Seafood City. I happened to be in Vallejo and was craving some hot crispy chicken. I remembered Jollibee was in Vallejo and decided to give them a try. It had a while since I last had it and I remember it being pretty tasty (Not as good as all the hype, but it was good enough). This was the worst mistake ever! First off I couldn't even chew the chicken, seriously! It was so tough and old! When I pulled the chicken apart, I could tell it was old, the actual texture of the meat was off, it looked freezer burnt. The Peach pie tasted like the cardboard it comes in and the mashed potatoes still had the powder chunks in them. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about this meal. 13 bucks down the drain!
