Giving 3 starts to average out both experiences. Booked a jumper with a slide for daughters 4th bday. Was great - jumper is in excellent condition and he was communicative. Decided to book again for her 5th bday this past weekend. Jumper he brought was beat up and needs to be retired. Noticed right away that when the kids were jumping it was sinking in. Went into it myself and you could feel air coming out of a lot of the seams. The ladder to get up to the slide would fall to the side when they tried to get up, and the kids were stopping in the middle of the slide because it dipped so much from not enough air getting in. I texted him with no response. Ended up finding 2 big holes that we patched with gorilla tape as best we could and sent him pictures. He finally responded and said that "some air is getting out but it's not too bad". I paid $220. It was not cheap, and the jumper was in terrible condition. Not once was I offered at least some of my money back for the faulty jumper. Will not be going with him again next year and do not recommend anyone else does either. read more

I am very disappointed that when I called to ask about a bouncy house rental for my daughters 2nd birthday, I was denied service because of the party location: Shafter, CA. I copy and pasted this from the website from the FAQ section: "Q. When do I Pay ? A. Payment is upon delivery of the inflatable unit. We deliver throughout all of Kern County" so even though the website says they deliver throughout Kern County, they actually don't. And Shafter is not even that far. It's right next to Bakersfield. I'm bummed out, but will try to find another bouncy house rental business and make this birthday special for my soon to be 2 year old. read more

I was looking for a water slide for my daughter's birthday party and this guy seemed reasonable and affordable. He was really communicative, answering any questions I had, seemed really professional at first. Then I texted him a few days before the party to confirm that we were still on for the party which he confirmed. In which he asked what time I'll like him to come and set up. I told him 9am which he replied "okay let me schedule you in" So the day of the party he comes 9 am and he's not here so at 9:15 I text him and ask where he's at and he just says running behind and asks when the party is which I say noon. He doesn't respond then I ask when he'll be here he said 10:30 am So I left and my mom and Aunt were here when he showed up 2 hours late let me remind you. They told he he was very rude and unapologetic about being late. He made excuses and was very defensive about it, blaming other customers about being late. This feedback is not related to a jumper rental experience but a business transaction with this business owner. I had an unfortunate situation with the owner which he had no fault. As an act of good faith, I offered him my credentials to fairly mitigate the situation. In exchange for the mutually agreed $250 settlement, I justifiably requested him to sign a release of liability agreement so both parties are released from future legal responsibility. This business agreement is commonly used for various monetary transactions, such as, his jumper rental services. Surprisingly, his immediate reaction was that he accused me of threatening him. How did I pose to be a threat when I was going to pay him? It was a fair and justifiable request to ask for the signed agreement in exchange for the payment. Needless to say, there was a third-party evaluation. The authorized amount due to him was under $50. This unbiased determination indicated that he attempted to exploit me and, luckily, he did not get away with being "jolly about it!" So be very mindful in considering an honest and respectful business owner for a fair consumer experience. read more

Took about an hour to fill the bottom half and connected the hose to the top.. then we were good to slide down. The slide worked great and the kids were entertained all day. I have used jolly j jumpers on a couple occasions both times have been a great experience. Bounce houses were nice and clean with no visible signs of damage. They provided plenty of tarps (xtra for us because we didn't have grass yet). During one rental we had the bounce house first thing in the morning until really late after the party which was nice to bounce with just my daughter. On the second occasion though it was dropped off closer to party and picked up by that early evening. We have also rented their chairs and tables, always clean and sturdy. They have a pretty good combo deals with the bounce house/ table/ chair rentals. Can't beat the prices! I look forward to trying out their water slides. read more

I made a comment and his response was that" kids get it dirty with their feet" which means he does not clean and sanitize between customers! One of the WORST experiences EVER!!!! My friend rented a jumper and tables and chairs. (Mind you she was a repeat customer with no issues in the past.) However, this time, everything arrived dirty and all the tables and chairs appeared VERY "loved" (or used a lot). Jose dropped them and kinda threw them in our yard with an attitude. We had to carry the tables and chairs ourselves to the backyard ourselves. That's fine. He was supposed to pick up everything Saturday night, but said he would be back Sunday morning. Ok. He arrives Sunday morning with an even bigger attitude. He loaded the jumper and tables and chairs. Just as he was about to leave, he calls us out to his truck. He said we damaged 2 tables and we had to pay an ADDITIONAL $80!!!!! Due to the tables sitting out overnight (we did request same day delivery and pick up) there was a party streamer that was left on top and the color slightly bled into the corner of the table.) These tables are approximately $40 NEW on amazon. I guess this is how he replaces his equipment with erroneous charges to customers. Will never recommend or use this vendor again. read more

For the those of you who live in Bakersfield and ever rent water slides.. Jollyjjumpers is a place you never want to rent from.. This was to be my second yr. renting from them, even after the mishap we had last year w/ them. This year Jose the owner confirmed my son's birthday party for 6/29. Needless to say, he never showed, never answered any of my call's, my text or email. It was 12:30 and I'm calling other company's, and nothing. It's 107 out side and the waterslide wasn't coming. All I could do is cry and look at my son's face and see him upset. In the mean time my in-laws brought there water slide over. Our son's God parents pulled up as they did. Were told what happened.. Leslie was on the phone calling every company she could. Finally she got a hold of one' Sandoval's affordable fun jumps' told them what happened. They called back their boys who were done for the day,to come deliver the slide. We had it at our house within 45min. I thank our son's God parents for helping get a water slide for our son's birthday.. It was breaking my heart seeing him upset.. I will from here on out use Sandoval's affordable fun jumps.. Amazing customer service and a very happy birthday boy.. The water slide was brand new, used one other time. And when the kids went to bed, it was time for us adults to have fun! Terrible experience! intentionally misleading. Buisness card says fully insured but when equipment was dropped off you had to sign a disclaimer where you "waive and relinquish any and all rights and benefits you may have under Section 1542 of the California Civil Code" yet they say the paper is just to confirm the equipment was delivered. Upon delivery and after the delivery person had the money he stated that he forgot to mention he would pick up the unit at 8p.m. I informed him the party started at 5 p.m. and it was suppose to be hot that day. I also stated it was not even dark at that time and my party would still be going on when he picked the bounce house up. Half way through my party the delivery boy would come in and clear out the guests so he could hurry up and get home. I spoke with Jose, the business owner, phone number (661) 301-3097 Lic. # 1000115541. He became very confrontational and started screaming over the phone. He would not even let me talk. He accused me of over working his equipment and kept bringing up what his blower costed him and claimed I was going to have the unit running since 8a.m. He basically said a bunch of irrelevant speculations that almost made me blow my top! I maintained control and would have told him to take his equipment and get off my property. That was not an option because it was my sons special Pirate themed party and I honestly doubted I could find a similar bounce house on such short notice. He had me cornered and took advantage of it. He was RUDE! His delivery boy was rude. To make matters worste, the bounce house had a hole in it or the little blower did not put out the air needed. It was a bigger than normal bounce house. it kept deflating if the kids used the slide portion. The kids had to jump directly in the center for it to work. I am not exaggerating when I say a three year old kid made it collapse by just sitting on the slide portion. Absolutely ridiculouse! When the delivery boy picked up the bouncer, I brought my experience to his attention. He rudely basically told me I was lieing and said if I had a problem to talk to his rude boss! What a joke!!!
