Especially when you look through the floor/net to see the floor of the cavern a long long way down. The only thing missing was some music to jump to. This is the only one of its kind in the world apparently so pretty special. It's a really hard workout too, even the regular exercisers needed a few sit downs! You keep getting up again though as it's so much fun! We kept falling over all the time as it's quite hard to keep your balance, I don't know how some people were playing rugby! Helmets and boiler suit were a good idea although it all got a bit sweaty. I went with a group of 10 and only 1 person didn't enjoy it, so pretty good odds. The person that didn't like it has a real fear of heights and didn't really enjoy the bouncing much either. I do have a bit of a fear of heights too and am also slightly claustrophobic but I definitely enjoyed it. I did struggle a bit with the netting slides but once done they're fine :) One of my friends did say though that some people were coming down the climbing up chutes as that's the only option apart from the slides to get back back down. A less daunting third option would be good please!

For £25 you get an hour's trampolining, bouncing from cavern to cavern, climbing up ladders and snaking down tubular slides from level to level. Make sure you have trainers on and some light clothing too, as you'll get so hot with all the bouncing about. Safety helmets (and attractive hairnets) are compulsory and the safety briefing is pretty comprehensive too. The age range in there is brilliant - grandparents bouncing alongside kids. If you want to make a day of it, there's plenty of other activities on site too - from Europe's tallest zip wire, to a quarry explorer 4x4 trip. Café on site too - predictably on the pricey side but clean and roomy. Definitely worth a visit!

I would strongly recommend this for age 7 - 10 though smaller ones are able to come along too, height restrictions do apply to certain parts of the adventure courses, so to avoid disappointed I would recommend you go onto their website and check first. This place is all about fun and fitness for the whole family. They have a massive high wire forest adventure course; which is set within the countryside and developed to encourage you to get moving, and trust me by the end you the adventure a good cuppa and sleep is what you'll need, though if it is for the family then keeping the kids active by getting them tired then Jungle Parc is the place to bring them. It is a very safe environment and with all the proper equipment it is very enjoyable. The X-plorer course is for anyone over 1.35m in height and the Adventurer course is for children from 4 years old and with minimum height of 1.05m. The Jungle Parc is situated in Croxteth Country Park which is only 10 minutes from the city centre.

The premises consists of two different courses: X-Plorer course and Adventurer course (for the little ones). There are 40 amazing activities to enjoy as you glide through trees on rope bridges, zip lines and cargo! It definitely sounds exciting as it really is. Adults are just £20 and Juniors £15. So off we go, it was a Saturday and gorgeous weather. So, we were hoping that it wouldn't be too busy given it was a Saturday and not raining. Well we weren't disappointed, although fairly busy, the farm staff were well organised and kept all us all in check. The kids and I started off on the steam train, with the idea that we would get a good idea of where everything was from the ride (well this is what I thought), the kids were more concerned with just going on a train. Half way around we stopped off at the Lake View and the kids played while I chilled out and absorbed the view. After that we got back on the train and finished the journey. The farm has some pedal tractors that kids use to go around the farm on. They looked great fun to me, but I had so much trouble convincing my friends kids that they should try them too. So after much convincing and no way forward, I gave up and instead they went off to the Children's Pet Area where they got to feed and play with the animals. First off when you arrive parking is easy enough with plenty of space. Entry is £6 for adults (£7.50 for kids, and there's family ticket and concessions too). It's £1 for three bags of food (which is well worth it!) There's a small café as well as plenty of picnic benches near the entrance along with a kids playground. Just before the barn, quite often they have birds of prey in or creepy crawlies, both of which have been there on previous trips and you're allowed to get hands on. In the farm itself you can see pigs, donkeys, deer, llamas, alpacas, horse, cows, goats and all the sheep! New this year were also wallabies. They have lamb feeding at set times that you can get involved in too. They've also grown a maze made out of maize which is good fun. Finally there's a small train that you can jump on if your little ones are a bit tired!

The second time she was walking, and although it took her a long time to get used to the place, there was no stopping her when she got her confidence. It does get very busy in the school holidays and on the weekend especially if it's raining, but out of these times it's very quiet and is great for little ones to build up their confidence. The staff are lovely. They serve Costa coffee and a range of snack type meals (sandwiches made to order) and there are comfy sofas and lots of tables and chairs for the adults. Very clean and tidy too.

The Wacky Warehouse was Wrexhams first indoor soft play area and has been open for almost a decade. Its much smaller than the many other indoor play centres in the area but the play equipment is clean and well maintained although the toilets are dreadful. Of the two ladies toilets one is currently missing a seat whilst the other has the sort of limescale that your average stalacmite enthusiast would be in awe of. Seating for adults is scarce and cramped but they do offer free daily papers, magazines and affordable coffee.

The owl experience involves using the gloves to handle a variety of different owls. You can feed and pet them and they look pretty happy in themselves! None of them are aggressive they all appear used to human contact with no evidence of nervousness etc. The Hawks are slightly less personable but still really interesting. Again they can be fed and flown but not petted. There is the option depending on which option you book to take the Hawks into the field and see them in their natural habitat. They quickly become distracted with animals in the surrounding area and it's really interesting to watch how they hunt naturally in the wild. Handler was really knowledgable and managed to get all of the birds to interact well. Definitely worth a visit !

The swimming area also consists of a viewers seating area, a slide, and a 'rapids' area. Swimming lessons are also available, as well as options such as 'ladies only' night. Waterworld also has a fully-equipped gym with changing rooms and showering facilities. The gym currently uses the TechnoGym products, and all are in great condition. The gym isn't huge, but caters for everybody, and all staff are helpful and friendly. There is also a studio where exercise classes take place. Classes are very varied, from yoga to dance, and all instructors are friendly and helpful. Something to suit all tastes. When not exercising, Waterworld also have a cafe just inside at the reception area. This is a great local facility, and if the changing rooms were a little more loved, updated, cleaner, and tidier, I would have no hesitation to give Waterworld 5 out of 5.
