When you pay $240/week you are foolish to think that this place isn't going to have a noisy neighbor or have extra fluffy towels. The SO and I have been driving across the country and have been to several hotels in recent weeks. He smokes and this hotels rooms were surprisingly better than the average smokers room. Breakfast has bagels, toast, waffles, bagels and all the fixings. (Philly cream cheese, butter, jam, syrup) Coffee is 24 hours and they have laundry and vending machines (coke/snack in the lobby and pepsi in the hall) If you are staying for the week they clean your room MWF if you don't need anything additional.

This area was a housing development. After the flood, everything was torn down and rebuilt to a State Park. What is so cool about this place is that it is within walking distance of some restaurants, movie theater, Cabela's, a place to get your hair cut, lots of things. If you don't tow a car and find yourself in this area, try to stay two nights just to "do the town." You are close to a bridge where you can walk to the North Dakota side. The "hookup" sites are pull-through but the sites are arranged parallel along the driving road so that someone may be in front or behind, but nobody is directly beside you. You get a lot of acreage with your site. Restrooms were clean. I had to pay $35 ($30 camping, $5 car fee) for full hookup. If you have the Minnesota Annual Pass, you don't pay the car fee. You pay the car fee even if you aren't towing a car, but they don't charge extra for a towed car. Little pricey for a state park, but cheaper than a hotel! TV reception via JACK antenna was difficult. It seemed that you got the most channels when you turned it the direction of the least blue reception lights. You get CBS, NBC, ABC, ME-TV, CW, and some good Prairie Public PBS stations. I'm surprised I couldn't get a FOX station. The park does not have Wi-Fi. I detected a "city Wi-FI" but was unable to use it from my site. The only thing I DIDN'T like was weasling my RV down DeMers avenue to get to this park. That is a busy street!

It would also be a perfect place for a romantic get-away. I am gluten-free - but by choice, not necessity, so I didn't give her that information in advance. When she found out, she made every effort to make the breakfasts gluten free so I could enjoy the same food as my sister. That was definitely over and above what she needed to do. When I bring my husband, who has Celiac, and must be gluten free, I know it will be a safe place for him - and yes, I will give her notice next time. It is close enough to downtown to have a walking holiday - unless, of course, you come here to shop the malls. In our case, it was our 'oasis' away from the malls and box stores. We will certainly come back!

I have always wanted a laundry machine at the hotel where I didn't have to have quarters or buy a card or install and app so this is an excellent idea at any hotel. Thank you Expressway Suites. Our stay there from 9/26/22 to 9/29/22 was perfect with all of our needs met. Plus I was in the hot tub for about 20 minutes and it fixed my foot pain instantly... something I had been struggling with since March 2022!

I think the review before mine from a few yrs ago must be the wrong one…read more This place had many perks such as a huge hot tub, nice pool, breakfast and weekday dinner social with free food and alcohol which I've never seen before. In the room it's very big, with a couch, coffee table, microwave, fridge, comfy bed with lots of pillows, nice decor, coffee maker, and then a,free washer dryer on each floor which is nice. Our room was spotless as well as the bathroom. They have free movies with a DVD player in the room. A game room downstairs and a fitness area. It's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, for the price. Very happy with our stay! Will definitely stay again when in north dakota!!
