This is a good nearby alternative as they have a free parking lot. The staff were very friendly when I asked them questions, and the restrooms were clean. They had some tables and chairs to work at as well as public computers. Sitting at the table was unfortunately very uncomfortable, but it was bearable for three hours. Once kids started coming in after school, it was so loud. They have a kids' section, but it is right next to the work area, so it was very loud with kids yelling and screaming. I know it's a small library, but it's nice when the kids' section is separated from the work area.

Inside, there were lots of senior ladies playing American mahjong. My girlfriend and I were able to vote at this location. I had forgotten my son's water bottle at home. Thankfully, the library offered free cups, a lid, and coffee straw that I filled from the water fountain.

While the staff at the 2 locations we have been too have friendly staff this staff was a different level. So friendly and talkative. It is a smaller place but they make good use of it. Glad we got here, we checked out a few books and bought a few. We had a good time.

My main purpose for the visit was to read some magazines that I don't subscribe to. The magazine inventory was lacking. There were about three magazines on the rack with Texas Monthly being the only worthy one to read. I was disappointed not to see any National magazines. Maybe there was a budget cut. DVDs, music CDs, and books for adults and children were well stocked and with great varieties. Overall, this is a good library.

The process was so easy and stress free. It was a one shop stop. Austin public library (locations depend) does passport photos, that saved us a trip. The check in process when we got there was so quick. Everything just so happened so fast and quick. The employee who helped us send in our documents was so nice and helpful and deserves recognition for his customer service that he provided and with how quick and easy he made it for us. Also, the employee who took our photos for the passport made it quick and easy as well. I highly recommend everyone to come here if you're in need of a passport cause the employees and process itself makes my travel life so much better. Highly recommend. 10/10.
