It's my first time to write a review about a real estate agent although I've worked with several different realtors in my life. That's because it's that hard to find a good, trustful realtor like Jonathan. I've worked with Jonathan for several years for renting out my property. Jonathan has been so helpful since I'm remote from my property for a long time. He no longer does the property management so I had to find another agent though, I really miss working with Jonathan a lot. Jonathan is the one who you can fully trust and who makes you feel safe and secured as a client. The way he communicates is very professional and so courteous. Jonathan is always keen on what you shouldn't miss and what you need to consider when there's a deal or when you ask advices. Also throughout many years of working with Jonathan, I feel he is a very genuine man. While most of the real estate agents only think of their commission or benefit from the deal, Jonathan put his own client's advantage and convenience the first priority. He put the trustful relationship with the client the first priority. I am an applicant having a professional license and also have excellent credit (score wise more than 800). And I am really busy and a hard working person, never wasting my time to leave a review. but this time I needed it because we got threatened by these realtors. Me and my husband lived in the Los Angeles downtown area for a long period, and were looking for a new place to move. And I found 2 different places and wanted to apply and coincidentally these were listed by iota realty. I provided all the documentation (like bank statements and driver license) and also my credit report too. After submitting all the documents, without any notice: this agent tried a 3-way call with my bank to double check my statement balance without my permission. without notice. without consent. all of sudden. ?? Yes all of sudden. what the..??? Can you believe this? I am really sensitive with my private information, especially my banking information and I never experienced this type of confrontation in my whole life. only for a small, residential, 1 year lease contract??? If they need a 3-way phone call to check my bank balance, They need to inform me in advance. right??? or they need to arrange a date Instead!!!!! At least they should explain to me why I needed to verify with the banker to confirm my bank balance. However, they did not even say sorry to me for this rude attitude. 1. Please applicants should be really careful with this realty ,they are asking too much personal information!!!!!! They will call your banker to check your checking or saving account balance!! 2. They are threatening us now. My husband is a commercial real estate broker so he is my agent for a lease. I mentioned them in advance, and they already knew about this. But i do not know what is going on now, they start to threaten my husband. My husband just received a phone call from them and they will report DRE saying that I was pretending as a real estate agent and also mentioned what? FBI? because we are using same cell phone number? husband and wife, we only have a one cell phone.. is that wrong?? Ha Ha Ha.!!! 3. Can you see now? how they act using the applicant's personal information? I am really worried about them and need to watch out for these guys. and want to let other people know who they are! and how they are doing using applicants personal info. threatening!!!!! really really need to be careful with this guys!!! read more

First of all, Jonathan is very pleasant to work with as he always has such good attitude and is genuinely willing to help his clients. He is extremely professional and always available, willing to help you while I was being very picky (I didn't fully know what I truly wanted until I went through the whole process- and Jonathan was willing to help and accommodate the whole time). Because of my schedule, I had to ask him to accommodate a lot of things including seeing the properties at inconvenient times and weekends, but he was always nice about it and willing to help me. We had been checking out real estate in Downtown LA for months on our own. We ran into Jonathan multiple times as he was the listing agent showing other properties. When we finally found a home we really liked, we figured we'd need an agent, and Jonathan immediately came to mind. He was the kindest, most helpful agent we had met, and we had toured dozens of homes! We never felt pressured and felt like we could fully trust him. As an agent, Jonathan was SUPER helpful.
