Greenery everywhere, flowers, water running-everything you'd want for a wedding. They have two places where your ceremony can take place-outside back by the forested area or in the courtyard. Both beautiful areas but the wooded area was a DREAM. The sun shining through the trees and the long pathway down to the altar made it stunning. There was plenty of seating for everyone too. We did use the courtyard for cocktail hour, and it was such a good space for chatting, relaxing, and photos!! The inside was also Beauuutiful! A very large room surrounded by big glass windows. They set everything up for us and made each table look so elegant and beautiful. The staff did a wonderful job. The bride's suite was also Unreal!!! The most gorgeous getting ready space with plenty of mirrors and outlets. It has your own personal bathroom, kitchen area, and lounging area. It made the day even that more special! I have been several times for community events where they set up the booths. It has two stories, both overlooking glass windows out to the lake and a great back wrap around deck you can access. I could easily see this being a location for a beautiful wedding, a large conference or any kind of group setting you could think of. My company has also hosted several events here and the planning process from start to finish is phenomenal. Like I said, the staff is incredible and everything you need will be taken care of with a smile. The kitchen is great for catering events and the loading dock on the side makes it SUPER easy to get in and out with things like food for events or large displays, etc. The property is overlooking the lake and the view is great at sunset. Parking can get pretty tight for some events, but they always have a trolley that runs to/from extra parking at the park across the street. This is definitely a gem for the City of Granbury to have and the location next to the Hilton and just before you hit the Square is perfect for visitors to get to.

They have a lit area under the trees for cocktail hour and the reception took place inside the barn. It's everything you'd want in a barn wedding, wood details, barn doors, antique furniture. They have a bridal suite upstairs in the barn and a separate grooms house a little bit of a ways from the barn. It's a little bit out there in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the drive!

Many guests were clearly cold (it was a wet winter day with cool temperature) and it felt quite chilly in the space. The staff were friendly however did not seem to go out of their way to check in with guests. You had to flag down the servers for a passed appetizer, instead of being offered one. Hopefully these issues can be improved upon to improve the guest experience and make the wedding couple feel pampered and stress free on their big day.
