Oddly we showed once last year and they didn't even have him down. I did have an appointment card to prove it. So no ones perfect. I understand why they justify a no show charge. But they are the only doctor of the 7 he sees that does not give a reminder text, call, or email. And they are the only doctor who specifically treats him for dementia. Of course, I'm the one who must keep track of all his appointments and medications. It would be great to get a little consideration from a psychiatrist treating patients for memory loss. It's also odd they will spend the time to mail a missed appointment bill but not take time to remind.

Dr Lentz is one of the most caring and proficient yet professional physicians I've encountered…read more She reaches an exceptional balance of professionalism and sympathy/empathy while always maintaining proper psychiatric protocols. She has treated me for nearly 15 years now! In crisis, she is always available I've called the office and Amy, who is absolutely fabulous by the way either instructed me to come on in immediately or that Dr Lentz would call me at approximately a certain time that very day. . I greatly value Dr Lentz's opinion and recommendations for healthcare. Sometimes, psychiatric care can reach a little close to home! Dr Lentz once told me to basically stop feeling sorry for myself, which was truly a little difficult to hear. I say this because it demonstrates that she truly provides care which can be a little uncomfortable naturally.. Once again kudos to Amy for always being available to handle coordination with Dr Lentz. She does a fine job of managing the office. Lastly a comment to anyone on any medications. Please be compliant and take them! Unfortunately, I'm treated by a number of specialist and take meds three times per day. While we may understand the need for say heart and blood pressure meds, Psychotropic medications for mental health are just as necessary!

After telling my daughter she missed her appointment (that had been moved without our knowledge) and that the physicians will refuse to see her since it was her first appointment. We waited 4 months to see someone!!! Then we're told very rudely that patients who are "no shows" on their first appointment are not allowed to be seen. Thanks for making an already depressed person feel even worse. Just a suggestion, but if your going to deal with mental health patients, you should probably have someone with some compassion in your office. Just so you know, after we were turned away by your horrible front desk person, my daughter ended up in the ER. Waiting 4 months for an appointment is one thing. But the experience I had this morning is entirely another. Unprofessional and rude. Not to mention her lack of compassion in a field that should be required.

I'm a patient of Dr. Eliah and have been receiving care at the Grovetown location for almost a year…read morenow. I honestly couldn't be happier with my care. I really can't say enough positive things about the doctor and the entire staff here. I have a rather complex patient profile and upon moving to Augusta I initially was a patient at the military treatment facility. When I decided to change that and first went to Serenity I was quite anxious about being able to continue the care plan that I had while I lived in Va, the plan that my doctor at Eisenhower completely tore apart and refused to keep in place. I was nervous and worried and when I mentioned this to the nurses they were very encouraging and kind. I'm pleased to say that once my records from Virginia were sent to Dr. Elijah's office he was more than happy to continue my care as it had been for three years prior to moving to Augusta. He was also very kind and wasn't ever condescending or rude. I was so incredibly relieved. When I had questions about the efficacy of my medication he listened and was happy to change the things that weren't working so great. I'm also pleased to report that the therapy providers are really wonderful. Dr. Eliah and his staff are a credit to their specialty and to medicine in general. I'm so very happy with the compassion and care that I receive.
