    Cannoli

Jonny's Pizza is the best New York style pizza that I have ever had in Texas! However, if you order the Cannoli for $7.95,...this is what you will receive (see attached picture). Not four (4), like the picture on their website, but one (1), and not drizzled in chocolate, caramel or strawberry. I tried to contact the Aubrey, TX location without success. Very disappointed! - Mike (Aubrey, TX)

I've been here a few times. The pizza is decent. I look at it as a decent neighborhood pizza parlor. The service is always quick I usually get in and out in about 10 minutes. The pizza is pretty consistent as far flavor. The tomato sauce is tasty. I've come to ask for extra since without thus request I feel like it needs more. The crust is good very edible if you like the crust. The cheese is on the pizza is okay. It's an average slice that's worth a revisit if you're nearby and looking for sliced pizza. I'm from Brooklyn and I know a great NY pizza. This isn't is but that doesn't mean it's bad either. The prices is about $4 a slice including toppings which isn't bad either.

This place used to be good. The pizza now is garbage. Undercooked. If you pick up a slice it wilts. This is the furthest from NY pizza there is.

One slice cheese, one slice pepperoni

The pizza in Texas. If you like New York style, this is the place to go. By the slice or the hole pie, plus sandwiches, pastas, stromboli and other Italian baked goods. The staff have always been friendly and dining in is nice. If I lived closer I would try everything on the menu, but since I am a half hour away I go only when I crave the pizza. I have never left less than over stuffed.

Pizza by the slice ready to go!

You get another chance Tuesday through Sunday at noon to snag a cancellation, which is easier in my opinion. The pasta bar isn't the typical bar you'd imagine. You're seated at the place they actually make the pasta looking at a wall with pasta making tools. You do sit side-by-side, but we found it spacious and quaint. The service there is phenomenal. They're courteous, friendly, and helpful at explaining and answering any questions. The peppadew peppers were recommended to us, but we did not enjoy it. They ended up removing it from our bill, which we thought was nice. We didn't ask for it or request it, but our waitress felt guilty since she recommended it to us. The fried squash blossoms have a very light tempura style frying with a ricotta mixture inside. It was a bit too much cheese for us, but it was still good. The tagliatelle was good, but the vegetables in it were a bit strange. You don't really expect a crunch with your pasta. What I really didn't like about the dish was the black pepper. I'd randomly bite into a black pepper and it was overpowering. The lemon panna cota was tasty with the strawberries and cookies. The highlight was the Nutella cream puff pastries. It was delicious and light. Highly recommended! It was a wonderful experience, but the food was just good, not knock your socks off amazing. It's great to see how fresh everything is, just wasn't our taste.

We ordered the big pig pizza, Italian sub, Chicken Alfredo, house salad and Cesar salad for dinner and one of each deserts.... The pizza- great flavor on all toppings, crust and sauce. Suggestion- not enough sauce and could've been cooked a smidge longer. I'm ok with blistered crust and mild char on the bottom. 1-5 I'd give the pizza a 4. A tad more sauce (great sauce) and another minute in the oven! The Italian Sammy....dang good! One of the better ones I've had. I will order it again on next visit. The Alfredo was fresh, creamy, chicken was great, asparagus perfect. Nicely done. The salads were both fantastic. My wife had the house with house dressing and loved it. I shared a Cesar which I'm not usually a fan of but I LOVED this one! The desert- hello blueberry cheesecake shut the front door Becky get in my belly!! The lemon cake- money!
