Great service and quality cut for their prices. I've been to other local barber shops in the area and Jonny's is far and above them.

Jesus where to start, I took my 2 sons here for a haircut, we arrived at 11:15 with 3 people in front of us, 2 being children. I walked in to three barbers cutting hair. I was not greeted or told what to do. I saw a clipboard and signed in. I went outside on the steps to wait because although there is a sign saying masks are mandatory it's definitely not enforced some patrons were maskless. Then upon waiting outside there is some kid going around and marking tires with chalk with the time so they can come back around and ticket you even though there are no meters. So about an hour and a half later two people were finally done. I go inside and this guy cuts me off signs his name and is taken right back for a hair cut after I've been waiting this long. I wanted An additional 45 min inside before leaving like thre 3 people that checked in at the same time as me had. These people don't give a shit about making you wait, they are the slowest most arrogant people I've ever come across and honestly I have no clue how they make any money with the capability of only cutting 2 heads of hair every 3 hours. When I went to cross my kids name off the list literally nothing was said like giving me an estimate of how much longer it would be. The cuts that I saw looked ok as they went out the door but be prepared to spend literally your whole day just for a trim. 3 hours later we left and still had no haircuts. Good haircuts. You cannot make a reservation. Must sign a waitlist sheet when you arrive. Be prepared to wait 2 hours regardless if 2 or 8 guys are waiting. They really need to go to online reservations. I have been there at least 15 times and it's always a wait. I just don't have time to wait around like that anymore. read more

I've been going to Jonny's for about a year now, and will continue to go, every 3-4 weeks, for as long as it's open. I "found" them when I was looking for a new barber after my last one closed, and I'm glad I did! Every haircut is done well, and with attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they seem like family. I've been requesting Jay every time I go, and he knows me and my style before I need to say anything. They recently changed their prices...and I think they went down! Regardless, it's the best haircut anywhere, for an extremely affordable price. read more

They always give excellent haircuts and the environment is relaxed and pleasant. The only people I see complaining about Jonny's are complaints about the wait time or arriving shortly before closing time. Firstly, it's definitely worth the wait and there are times throughout the week where they aren't busy and you can usually skip the wait. You just gotta time your visit well and if there's a wait that's too long for you, come another time. Secondly, if you're showing up to a barber, or really any service that has the potential to last longer than 45 minutes, within less than an hour before closing time, you shouldn't just expect to be served and catered to. Workers have lives too and they shouldn't have to bend to your every will simply because you're a customer with an entitlement complex. read more

I can honestly can say this place is AWFUL...we have specifically asked for a fade-into the top hair the past 5 times and they will not, or don't know how to do it.... every barber just shaves the sides and trims the top, even after explaining exactly what we were looking to have done (Except Leslie) we will definitely be going back to our old barber shop even though it's a little further from us..(Jimmys barber shop Allentown) to avoid paying for terrible haircuts read more

With a holiday hair or great clips on every corner, I wait the half hour for a haircut at Johnny's. You can feel and see the difference. All day long in my professional life, I tell male coworkers to get a real professional haircut, not a great clips one. But go to johnnys barbershop. When they do you can see the difference. They shape the fade or cut to square up your head and you look more masculine. Not just a number 2 from top to bottom, but multiple sizes with no lines so your head looks good. The crazy part is that Johnny's is the same damn price as these crappy corporate cutters. Stop screwing around getting cuts from a salon that's not even allowed to use a straight razor. Man up, get your ass into a real barbershop, and get a big boy hair cut. If you're the person that says your haircut sucks for the first two weeks your at the wrong place. If you just do a number 2 all around, you're not five anymore, get a big boy cut. See what a fade does to the shape of your head. If youre the person who doesn't have time to wait, think about why there is no wait at those crappy hackers. read more

I've been coming here for about 9 months now. I went to the same "barber" for 5 years and got okay haircuts. I wear hats mostly and never really do my hair so never really cared, then I was getting married and knew I had to go somewhere to get a haircut that mattered. In my searches I found Jonny's came in a month before the wedding to see if I'd like it. (Yes I felt bad that I was leaving my old barber almost like cheating on her) My wife really and I mean really loved my hair cut. Since then I have been coming back ever since. I've had my haircut but 3 different people here, each and everyone of them takes their time and does an amazing job. The price is great and the quality is even better! read more

Sat in there with my 2 kids for almost an hour waiting..... just to get bypassed by numerous barbers. Apparently they have a sign in sheet at the front desk that no one attends nor tells you about. Instead of any of the Barber saying something about it they just continue on knowing that I have been sitting there longer than anybody else around us. I was in town for a short trip and this place had a good word-of-mouth reputation. There's several places locally to get a haircut, but I stopped in at Jonny's. The wait wasn't too long, and they were pretty busy. The atmosphere is just what you want in a good shop. The barbers were all joking around. When I was called up, I got a great haircut from Juan. I'm really happy with my cut. Nice razor neckline finish. The conversation was good too. I will definitely return here next time I'm in town and I need a haircut. read more

I'm torn on this one. I came to get a haircut, and got one and it was OK and the price ($15) was good. They take more care than your average chain barbershop, using a straight razor on the neckline and thinning out where necessary without me telling them to. The problem is that this place needs a manager or something. The place is filthy, the building is falling apart, and stations are not neat and clean. No one greets you when you come in. The staff are not chatty or engaging at all. When it's time to pay, all of the barbers start trading bills out of their pockets to make change. If they took a little care to clean up and improve customer service, they'd be worth the trip to Emmaus again. read more

Good haircuts, bad hours. Their hours mean nothing, they close when they want. People still in the shop and don't even acknowledge that anyone is outside. If you say open until 7, stay open, if you lock the door at 6, change your hours. read more

Got a really really bad haircut here- first and last time I'll ever go here. Looks like some one put a bowl on my head and clipped the sides, gouging a chunk in the back of my head, maybe they were having a bad day but the haircut is so bad I'll not take a chance on being butchered here again. I brought my two shaggy sons (aged 9 and 6) to Johnny's for haircuts. The place came well recommended by my brother-in-law. Juan performed the cuts on both of my boys, and he did such a great job. He took his time with each, he immediately won the boys' trust, and he gave them both the haircuts of their life. Complete with accurate razor blade edging and smooth fades. My kids both hate getting haircuts, but on this day, they were excited and grateful. I was floored when Juan told me the price of both haircuts together was what I was happily willing to pay for a single cut. This place great. read more

One can get a great boys cut here for a good price, but be prepared to have people jump in front of you in line on a Saturday morning when the wait can be an hour or more. Not sure if these are friends or relatives of the people cutting hair, but this is an unprofessional way to do business and if you have a sign up list, you should stick to it. Additionally, although they say that they open at 9am on a Sat., we have shown up at 9am with a line of 6 or more people in front of us waiting for a cut. If you are actually going to open earlier, please list your actual shop hours on the door. read more
