Most importantly things always look clean and fresh! I have tried out a handful of different dishes, both sushi and thai-dishes, and I am generally very happy with my food. I love their curries, and I feel like their portions are generous. The staff is always polite and friendly, but they might miss your call during prime time because they get very busy and do not have the capacity to deal with it. However, I would still call ahead to order takeout, that way you do not have to sped 20-30 minutes waiting for your order. Definitely recommend for Lambertseter locals who are looking for a good sushi/Thai place.

I ordered a "Lunch box" with an 18 pieces combination of sushi and sashimi. The quality of the fish was good and the plate looked pretty, though the rice tasted very plain. It felt like a very ordinary sushi in a fancy package. There was no other fish than salmon included in neither the sushi nor the sashimi , which felt a bit boring. I have no idea why, since I saw other people having larger varieties of fish on their plates. For the price of 210 kr, it felt like they could have been a bit more generous. And then there was one more thing: they do not serve tap water. In a country with free clean water in our pipes (actually of higher quality than much bottled water), while other parts of the world are drying up, and while pollution from our industries and waste is a major problem - there's nothing fancy about only serving bottled water, it's only ridiculous. Sorry Jonathan, but all in all this leads me to not feeling very keen about enjoy your sushi again.

We all ordered the large set menu to get the full Monty. Unlike a lot of places there was no filler dish at the end, if you know what I mean. (Nodee serve loads of small dishes and you're always wanting more until the end when a mountain of Peking duck arrives) where these guys give you slightly more each time, just enough to keep you wanting more but not leaving you ravenous. This has also to do with the pacing, with Japanese tempo: four ultra tasty snacks in quick succession (chili cheese balls blew me away even though the oyster snacky things that came first would have been at home in a 3* restaurant) followed by four more dishes at a leisurely pace. These included the craziest langoustine ever (gratinert and the head and claws blowtorched in a wooden wine box with a glass lid!) Some very interesting Japanese beers to choose from and a comprehensive wine list that we didn't look at. Very friendly attentive service too. Book before it gets too popular - this place is going to rock Oslo for a while!
