Installers were polite and kept things clean but the lines to the tub they installed leaked into our walls and when we contacted the owner he didn't return our call for 3 days ( even though we told him we had to shut our water off because of the leak). I would not use this company, if things go well it's fine but if there is a problem the owner drags his feet to do anything and only does the bare minimum and with us refused to guarantee the work when the repair was done. read more

I went onto the Nextdoor app to try to find a plumber because I had just moved into the Centerburg area. I bought a house that was well over 120 years old and I had no clue how old the sump pump was. I knew that it was making a very loud noise and it didn't seem to be doing the job properly however it has not stopped running. I had already made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate to replace the sump pump. Brad showed up that morning and not only did he change the sump pump for me he was done quickly and very polite I have hired them to come back and install a back up sump pump I highly recommend this company their prices are reasonable and they do what they say they're going to do with explanations and estimates before they start the work. I have dealt with Jon's for about 4 years. During the annual fall inspection, they found that our electronic air filter wasn't working properly and if it wasn't disconnected, it could cause a fire. The tech disconnected the air filter. Save our house from a potential fire. Recently I had some plumbing work to be done in our basement. The pipe that need to be replaced ran through a crawl space with about 4 1/2 foot clearance, work was done by two workers in less than two hours. They were both professional and courteous . I would highly recommend them for any plumbing or HVAC work. Office staff is excellent also. read more

Do not do business with this company, we had a new HVAC system installed by them in our attic as we have no basement. Took twice as long as they told us and cost nearly $20,000. They messed up 2 different things for the condensate and I walked into the bathroom to find water pouring out of my light switch and the ceiling vent and then noticed lots of water stains on our ceiling.We called and they said they couldn't come out until next day?! My husband had to go up and open a nozzle for the water to flush out. They messed it up and it all flooded and we had to have a company come out and tear our whole ceiling down in the living room and bathroom and replace the whole ceilings and part of the walls after having loud machinery in here and open ceilings for 5 days for everything to dry out. They didn't want to own up to their mistakes or help us out at all we had to fight with their insurance company while the contractors who came to fix the mistakes were threatening a lien on our home! Nobody should have to go through that. Fast forward to now still less than a year later and my husband smelled propane in the attic when a technician was out fixing a vent and he told him. The guy supposedly tested and found no leaks. We ran through an entire tank of propane in a month and a half and I only keep house at 69 and its tiny. A tank would last us a whole year before so they came back out again and checked and low and behold found a leak IN OUR ATTIC from them not doing the job properly! I am super upset, my family could have been killed and they do not even want to compensate us the $1300 it cost to replace the tank of propane we just had filled. The customer service is terrible and they do terrible work, this is the 3rd problem we have had on a brand new system for mistakes that are their fault!! To begin with the tech was great, he was very polite and explained exactly what was wrong with my hot water tank. It was under warranty so I just had to pay for installation which I was presented the bill of 397 dollars after installation which I paid before he left. This took place in October, today I get a bill for 99 dollars which I thought must be a mistake in billing. I called and was told the bill I received was for diagnostics and that they had e mailed me a bill. I am not the best at checking my e mails, didn't know why they would have billed in this manner and was not told I would get a paperless bill and that diagnostics was not included in my installation. I did not discard a e mail from them so I typed Jons plumbing in my e mail search and there was no email from them. This is the first and last time I will use them, there are different options out there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I suppose you can say I "used" their service, however I paid $70 for absolutely nothing. I had a tech come to my home for an hour to only make phone calls trying to reach my tankless hot water tank company tech support(Which I've previously done myself). After not fixing the issue, I was told I "probably need a new one." The tech proceeded to offer me a membership club for a fee to help save money and promised to follow up on a quote for a new tankless hot water heater. It's been FOUR WEEKS and still haven't received that quote. So if you want to pay $70.00 to have a company advise you that you'll need new equipment and then not follow up, then this is the perfect company to rip you off. We spent $25,000 having them do the plumbing in our new home. We had nothing but issues and had something go out in our hot water tank right before the warranty was up. Then as soon as the warranty was up we had a part of our furnace go out. Of course, that was not covered as the furnace only had a one year warranty so we had to spend more money!!!
