I needed a catalytic converters installed on my 2004 Scion xB and Joor was great, they got me in and out quickly while I waited. Sorry I don't remember the exhausted specialist name at the moment, but he went out of his way and explained how he was doing it better by welding the Cat at the rear rather than use the clamp that MagnaFlow included with the replacement. I had my 1966 Mustang towed over to Nick Manning at Joor Muffler after having it at another shop for an engine and transmission upgrade that didn't go well. Nick finished the engine upgrade (6 cyl to a FI V8) and not only fixed all the issues, he fabricated the components needed to make the fuel injection work and the headers fit. Numerous electrical upgrades were added and the engine bay was painted at his body shop. Other issues identified during the build were also addressed (power steering, AC, cooling system, etc.). His suggestions were always good and the end result came out great! Joor is much more than a muffler shop; they were working on classic cars every time I was there. I've used Joor for years and have always had a good experience. The local Dodge dealer told me I needed at $3000.00 repair for may Ram Truck. I took to Joor and the repair was less than $250.00. That was 80,000 miles ago and still no problems. Joor has never tried to charge or sell me for something I did not need. Before I found Joor I took my wife's Honda with 33,000 miles on it to another repair shop. That shop wanted over $800.00. I took it to Joor and the total cost was about $220. My car needed 2 catalytic converters and a radiator. The cost to change out only the front converter was estimated to be about 1,100 bucks at the dealership. Nick looked into it and suggested to change out both at the same time. Even though he had to change his initial phone estimate a bit once he got to look at my car, the total charge for both converters was $730. The radiator we are going to do ourselves. Joor muffler shop was very good, had a flomaster 40 Series installed on my 2016 Sierra Denali and sounds great, weld's were well done, my only GRIPE is that LEO charged me an extra 70$ to cut out the resonator which I thought was part of the ORIGINAL QUOTE, so just be VERY CLEAR WHEN GETTING A QUOTE! Joor muffler is awsome!!! I took my 06 f150 in a few weeks ago, I had a bad coil and one of my catalytic converters had gone out. I dropped it off in the morning, they worked on it all day and we're done with it by the end of that same day. They had replaced both catalytic converters, installed all new spark plugs and replaced the bad coil. Truck runs awesome passed Smog on the first attempt no problem. I had three other quotes from different mechanics and Joors was the best price. We'll be bringing my other cars here for service. read more

Great service, amazing work, for a low cost !!! I took my Datsun 510 for a muffler install ... I got the muffler from Racing Beat because I have a rotary motor in mine , I wasn't expecting the muffler to be so big ! well the guys at Joor mufflers had to cut and weld ad modify my body to get the huge muffler in there .. it took him 2hrs after everything was done and he only charge me $150 .... Had an exhaust pipe detach from its resonator. I first stopped by a local dealership and showed them a photo of the issue. They suggested replacing a bulk of the exhaust system. I asked if it might be a warranty item since the car is just a few years old. They said it might, but it would be a minimum $135 to inspect it and then they would have to wait for a factory rep to review. Then I went over to Joor and showed them the photo. They said they could just weld it back in place. They did it while I waited. In and out in 15 minutes and only spent $100. Will definitely come back. read more

I live 30 miles away and based on a referral from a friend made the drive to have what I thought was going to be some simple engine work done on my bronco. Turned out there was a lot of other things that were wrong with the vehicle causing issue and it turned into a very big project. I called this past Saturday to get a Walker aftermarket catalytic converter installed on my old beater 2000 Toyota Corolla. My car was throwing a P0420 code on my scan gauge and a check engine light. I decided to pick up a catalytic converter on Amazon from Walker that was CARB compliant. I thought my friend who was a mechanic would be able to do it, since he wasn't and I badly needed the smog check. I called the Joor muffler since it is close by and got good yelp reviews. The guy on the phone quotes me 75 to 100 dollars. I took it in and he called me 20 minutes later, tells me it will be 100 since they have to do a flange. Also when I picked up the car they charged me 10 dollars for bringing in my own parts. He did not mention this on the original quote. I asked for a military discount, so he gave me 5 dollars off. If you are more honest on your quotes, you will get better reviews and happier customers. read more

Unfortunately I had awful experience. I had work done to replace my strut mount bearings about 7 months ago and it turns out they had broken both bearings upon installation. Instead of telling me about the problem, their solution was to install both damaged bearings back into the car (one bearing was wrapped together with electrical tape). I was sent out of their shop with critically damaged components and a terrible alignment which was no where near factory specifications. When I confronted them about it, I initially wanted to speak with the owner. I was told that he was not in and that I could speak with the shop manager about my problem. After I explained my situation, I was told that the whole situation was shady and that they do not even have electrical tape in their shop. Then he began blaming the shop that I had just gone to repair my damage on that day. They did not take responsibility for what they did and when I left the shop I had asked if there was a way to contact the owner directly. I was told that they were a corporation and that I could find their number online. Turns out the only number listed was their own shop number. I have already filed a complaint through the B.B.B and have yet to hear anything from the owner. Words can not fathom my disappointment. I have proof to back up everything in the alignment numbers, the damage done to my tires and the broken bearings which started it all. read more

What a great group of people. I had a issue with catalytic converter from a test only smog station. The smog tech told me my converter was installed upside down because he couldn't see any numbers on my converter. I told the smog tech that the converter was the original but he would not listen and failed my pickup on the visual part of the test. He said I needed to go to a muffler shop and ask them. I called Joor and explained my problem. Joor asked me to bring in my pickup and they would take a look at the converter. Joor told me my converter was installed properly and was the original as I had told the smog tech. Joor gave me a number for a smog test station and explained what my situation was. I was able to take my pickup right over and they were able to pass my pickup without any issues. I called the original smog test station and told them my findings. I was told I couldn't get my money back cause my pickup had failed. They told me I should go to a smog referee station. Because Joor cared enough about me the customer. I will highly recommend them for any future service needs. Joor also did not charge me for looking at my pickup. read more
