My car was totaled by a drag racer at 1:10pm on a weekday on a GR secondary street. After driving 2 hours from Michigan to Indiana to see a specific car, I wanted to buy it. However, I was told that I could not write a check from out-of-state. On Saturday, Mike B and I discussed my arrangement for a one-way car rental on Tuesday morning and I sent a map of the location to him. I suggested I could send a deposit by wire or FedEx. He told me that that wasn't necessary. We agreed to talk on Monday morning to make final arrangements for my pick up of the vehicle with a cashiers check in hand. I was always going to pay cash. I have been looking for a used Toyota Rav 4 for several months with lower mileage at a reasonable price. I ended up finding the one I wanted to purchase. I even checked this dealership out and read the reviews before test driving any vehicles. I had horrible experience with previous dealerships and this one seemed like a highly rated place. I was told by the sales woman that there was a 100% point inspection done. As the price was listed way more than the car was worth, I tried to negotiate a fair price. They didn't budge very much, gave me $250 off the asking price. They did inform me this vehicle was a local trade in and had only one owner, so I knew right away they got a great deal for this vehicle. After 40 days I noticed my vehicle was not driving very smooth, in other words it was a bumpy ride. I have never been a Rav 4 car owner so I thought maybe this is how they drive. I also noticed squeeking sound coming from the front brake pads or caliper. I had my mechanic look at my vehicle and he found my front left strut was shot. Also my front right caliper wasn't releasing like it should. I had called Jordan auto group and they said they wouldn't fix it and there was nothing they could do even though it was 90 days prior to my warranty. Struts were not covered. After replacing both front struts, my vehicle still didn't feel right. I took it into another repair shop to get an alignment done and they tell me that my back tires are pointing inward and that is why my vehicle feels off. They weren't able to move the bushings. Therefore they said I would need to replace both back control arms and bushings. That was going to cost me $800. They also stated that soon I would need to replace the struts in the back as well. Jordan auto group dealership states that they don't replace anything that has over 50% life capacity. Clearly, this vehicle did not get a 100% point inspection. It also was never aligned when they put on new tires. Also, the struts and control arms clearly had less than 50% life capacity left. They sold me a vehicle that isn't even safe to drive. I paid way too much money for this vehicle to have this many issues, when I haven't even owned the vehicle for 3 months. I am beyond upset!!! I believe as a valued customer Jordan Automotive Group should make this right and fix my vehicle so it's safe to drive. It is a harbor for a dealership to push useless after sale warranty and protection services. I wish we didn't use the free oil change with the new 4runner this year. They stripped one of the skid plate bolts to access the oil filter and of course said nothing. In the past a family member had their rims scratched by an air ratchet, they replaced them though. It's more of a liability than a connivence. This person not only managed to screw up my contract but also forward the wrong name to Toyota Financial Services. I attempted to contact my salesman John Leap. However I have received no answer (how convenient for them). I am now fixing the issues that their stupidity caused. I am done dealing with this dealership. Update 6-1-2017 I have attempted to cancel the extended warranty yet it seems that they don't like to work at this dealership as they have done nothing to accommodate my request. "The Jordan Way" is a B.S dealership scam the size of a Ponzi scheme. Somewhere along the line they figured they'd make less money on some cars but would make more on others save themselves the hagglers and ultimately make more money. Long time, former Volvo customers. When they gave up the brand they left us high and dry in regards to factory service on our last purchase, forcing numerous trips to the Kzoo MI Volvo dealer for oil changes and other mandatory service until our warranty was up. Hour and a half each way--they could have at least done the oil changes. Their Toyota new and used car sales staff is aloof and makes zero effort to locate a vehicle for you if you're in the market. If it's not on the lot, or you don't have $24K to spend on a high-mileage behemoth pickup truck, forget it, they don't have time for you. The only similarity between their staff and Toyota's national TV spots is that they usually have a snarky lady answering the phone. The collision shop seems to be rife with attitude and hit and miss in regards to workmanship. If a repair is not done in keeping with good craftsmanship/acceptable practices, like the proper prep of a body panel before it's painted, management will try to deflect the responsibility onto you the customer, claiming your vehicle had "pre-existing damage" or some other excuse and expect you to be good with it. FYI. They have consistently failed to wash any of our vehicles (customer courtesy) following service, always stating their car wash was "broken". I literally have 20 coupons for free washes in my glovebox--they either have the world's biggest POS car wash, or they're just lazy and cheap. No idea. As Jordan continues to change and treat customers with this sort of disdain I find fewer and fewer reasons to purchase anything from them, including parts, which are apparently sold at full retail markup. Their Volvo dealership failed because they put no effort into it--from only having three of any model on the lot, to lazy salesmen and a combative service manager that refused to stand behind warranty issues, like the time we needed to exchange a full set of defective Pirelli tires (national recall) and he spent over 30min locating 1/64" tread depth on each tire just so he could disqualify us. Yep! And to Bob Hayden-- Institutions fail due to poor leadership. You would do well to consider critical feedback versus hiding out in your office and not returning phone calls. read more

Not impressed... My wife and I have been looking for an older but reliable car for my teenage daughter to drive. We found a 2001 Taurus with slightly lower than average miles on Jordan's website, but it only had one picture. Based on that fact and the higher than expected price we thought that maybe they had just gotten it and it was in great shape. We should hurry to snatch it up. We made an appointment to check it out. I arrived a few minutes early and asked for the sales person. Bad first impression... he didn't immediately know why I was there. Strike One. Once I filled him in, he went on to tell me about their programs and that this was an "as-is" unit. This was no surprise to me as I expected that of a unit this age. What was a surprise was that they expected me to take it to a service shop to be inspected before they would sell it to me. I appreciate the concept, but I don't go to dealerships so they can give me more work to do in order to buy THEIR car. If you want to give me the report your service shop has and offer to let me take it to one as well, that is fine...extra work is not - Strike Two Finally we went out to the car. It had dents or scratches on just about every panel, paint coming off the hood, the rear bumper was a mess, and a decent amount of rust. KBB price on this model in Good condition was $600 lower than their "no haggle" price. This was not "good" condition... maybe fair. At the price they were asking, I expected it to be really good. I was disappointed. Strike Three I told the sales person I wasn't interested and gave my reasons. That was met with a nonchalant shrug and something about there aren't a lot of good 20 year old cars out there... I said ok, and that we aren't in a hurry so we won't pay too much for too little and left. The next day we found a 2006 CRV in much better condition for less than 600 more than that Taurus. We got more car for the right money...probably even better than fair money. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I did like that we had immediate access to the Carfax and didn't have to ask for it. read more

Would not recommend these guys when trading in a vehicle or selling a vehicle. Staff was unknowledgeable and did everything they could to waste time. Jordan is a participating dealer in the KBB instant cash offer program. Spent a few hours at the Lexus store where my truck was thoroughly looked over, evaluated, and appraised by one of Jordan's auto buyers. The auto buyer made a slight adjustment to the price due to a small ding on the door ($100). However, did not want to buy it due to the "difficulty" of selling the truck since it is a regular cab. Even though KBB instant cash offer was below market value. Jordan auto buyer told me that KBB would buy it for the instant cash offer and they would take care of me. I waited for about an hour while the Jordan representative worked through the process of having KBB purchase the truck. After a few hours I was told they would purchase the truck and to bring it back tomorrow to finalize paperwork and collect the check. Assuming the truck was sold, I told other participating dealers that I had sold the truck. Later that evening I got a text from the Jordan representative that stated "management" would not honor the KBB instant cash offer due to the truck having a loan on it and it was too much of a "risk" for them. I pushed back and was told to take my truck to the Jordan Ford location so they could do a second assessment/appraisal on the truck. I showed up and was immediately greeted by the manager of the Ford Store. My truck was put on a lift and nitpicked for any little damage they could find. After sitting for about an hour, the manager came into the lobby and brought me out to the shop. A very minor scuff on the front bumper was pointed out to me. The scuff was so minor that they had to shine a flash light on it back and forth for it to show. I was told that the entire bumper on the truck would have to be completely stripped down and repainted in order for them to sell it. Next, they pointed out very small amounts of surface rust on the inside edges of the rocker panels underneath the truck. Were talking hit with some light sandpaper and it's gone type of surface rust, the truck has 35k miles on it. The manager said that the rockers were "rusted out" - his exact words, and they would have to replace both sides. I can't make this up... Then they pointed out that the front fenders were "slighted tweaked out at the bottom" and would need to be removed and readjusted. I literally laughed and shook my head... Folks, this truck is a rust free, 35k mile, two owner, zero accident truck. It's immaculate. I just don't drive it enough to justify the payment (4500 miles in a year). The KBB instant cash offer was $30,151.00. The average book value based on condition is $35k. Market value is even higher. The manager told me they would not be able to make money due to the extensive repairs needed and they did not want to facilitate the buy through KBB because the truck has a loan. Then the manager told me, "this is a really nice truck, you could probably get $35k if you sold it privately." I'm glad that he has confidence in me, as an unexperienced salesman, and believes I could make $5k more than the KBB offer. Yet, has no confidence in himself or his sales staff to sell it for $35k or more and make a profit for the business. The manager told me they would get back with me on quotes to fix the "damages" to my truck and readjust the offer. It's been nearly a week and I have heard nothing from these guys. They participate in the KBB instant cash offer, they need to take care of customers who go to them to utilize it. I was told that they buy 99% of instant cash offers from KBB because they are valued extremely low and they can make a lot of money on them. Bottom line here, they could not make an insane profit off my truck so they did everything they could to avoid purchasing it and dealing with KBB purchasing it. The "Jordan way" is definitely not the way to trade in or sell vehicles. Starting to think "the Jordan way" is a hassle free way of over paying for a vehicle. read more

I was very nervous about going through a large dealership for my new car. My family had always gone through the same guy--and always been happy. This year, my mother bought a new car and our guy recommended Jordan Toyota. She had a great experience; so when I decided I wanted a new Prius V, I was told the same--Go through Jordan Toyota. The woman who helped me (Nancy) was so genuinely kind that I immediately felt comfortable. Not only did she help me, but not once did I feel pressured. She let me test drive what I wanted, did not try to push me in the direction of something I did not want, explained to me all the nuances of the Prius models so I knew what I was doing (everything is done by pushing a button...I had no clue!), and then answered every question I had with patience and a smile. I really worked her, too. I probably was not an easy customer. Eventually, I had it narrowed down to two different colors, so she went through and created a spreadsheet showing each one's cost and what my payments would be for both. (Each spreadsheet took a while to make, too.) Not once did she let on that she was getting aggravated with me, nor did she ever try to sway my decision one way or the other to hurry me along. She simply gave me all the information and then let me have time to think and discuss with the person I made come with me. She even went outside in the awful heat and found two similar vehicles in the colors I wanted that were side-by-side so I could have a better idea how my car would look. She spent an entire 2+ hours helping only me. Not once did I have to search for her for help or wish she would leave me alone. It was the perfect combination of attentiveness and freedom to look around. I honestly enjoyed every minute of the buying process with her. (Who knew spending so much money would be such a delight?) After I finally made a decision, I felt very confident that I was getting a decent price and had been treated very well. We've been coming here to have our cars serviced for about four years now. They are consistently professional, honest and pleasant. They go above and beyond to make the client experience a good one. I schedule my appointment, am checked in within 5 minutes, and get to wait in the most pleasant room (sounds silly, but think about how many hours we spend waiting for oil changes over the years!) Comfy chairs, pub tables, good lighting, an office area and wifi ( I often bring my laptop), and they usually have a manicurist here. They also have a courtesy car to give you a lift and bring you back for your car. I've used it once and the gentleman who drove me was delightful- reminded me of my grandfather. Also, this isn't really his fault, but for some reason my social security number was not showing that it was me, so I had to run home in a frenzy to find my social security card, which I did not expect to do. I've dealt with the Toyota end of this operation for almost 10 years now. I've never seen a better (or even as good) automotive operation. As it happens, when I bought a newer Toyota to replace my older one, I ended up getting one in Chicago, because I was time-constrained and wanted a very particular model/feature-set. I did deal with their salesman (Craig, I think was the name), and he was excellent: attentive, helpful, but also not pressuring. I have had most of my regular service done here for years, and they do impeccable work. I know some people complain that dealer service is costly, but much of that is due to the fact that they use genuine Toyota parts rather than the third-party parts that I just don't feel like relying upon. If you go to an independent mechanic and ask them to get OEM parts, the service total price tends to be about the same as dealer service. read more

This was my first purchase with Jordan and I was really impressed! Alex Miller was amazing to work with and made the entire process easy and stress free! UPDATE: Within a week of purchasing a vehicle from Jordan, my Jeep started making a horrible noise. Called the service department at Jordan and they informed me that they do not work on Jeeps and that I would need to take it to a Jeep dealership to have it looked at. At my appointment with a Jeep dealership, they let me know that I needed a major repair that will cost around $2,000. They told me they would have to look into the extended warranty I purchased (through Jordan) to see if it would be covered by them. I received a call from Warranty Solutions and was pretty much harassed by them with the questions they asked me. Luckily the warranty I purchased is covering the cost of the repair but I have to pay a deductible and I am out of a vehicle since the part needed is on a nation wide back order. I called Jordan to see what they could do for me and they said they would only be able to offer me a rental car for 2 days but not longer than a week since they sell the cars that would be provided as a rental. I would have thought with all of the great reviews Jordan has, I would be treated more like a valued customer and not just a sales transaction. I am very disappointed in the vehicle I purchased from Jordan. I trusted them because their website says "We thoroughly inspect each and every vehicle for quality." That is a LIE. The jeep dealership my jeep is at said if Jordan did an inspection on this vehicle, they would have found this problem and said chances are, they knew about this and decided not to fix it. I purchased my jeep on May 23, 2019. It was in and out of the repair shop a couple times before going in on July 16, 2019 and I haven't seen it since. After a minor fender bender on company property, we took our truck to Jordan auto group for repairs. Over $4000 later, we have a new hood. One side of the hood has about a 1 inch gap overhang and the other side of the hood has a 1 inch open gap. In addition to this, the horn no longer works. After billing the insurance company for the original quoted work, Jordan billed for an additional six hours of adjustment on this hood. There's no difference between now and before the six additional hours of work. So $4000 and two weeks apparently are not enough to have a vehicle back that does not look like it has been in an accident. We are not satisfied with this work, however; if we wanted the truck back we had to sign the paperwork. We bought a pre-owned Rav4 from Jordan Auto last week and I was very impressed with the friendly and professional approach of Jordan staff, especially Shawndel Gordon. I test drove a few Rav4s listed on their website and I didn't like them for color and for some other reasons. Then I saw a silver one sitting on another row and I instantly knew I wanted that one. It was not listed on website because they did not finish the title paper work for that Rav4 and so it was not ready to sell in another week. But I wanted the car that day itself since my old car was totaled due to flooding ad I had no other car to drive to work. Shawndel was very friendly and arranged to give us the Rav4 (with full tank gas and his dealer number plate) until the paperwork will be ready (in another week!). We were glad that we got the car we liked on the same evening we went there! I also noticed the difference compared to my last car buying experience from GurleyLeep. Jordan had fixed price policy, while my GurleyLeep experience was tiring due to price negotiations. The finance guy at GuelyLeep tricked me into buying additional warranty by playing with the "low APR" he promised me if I buy warranty (I was ignorant at that time about the finance tricks played by car dealers). I had no issues at Jordan and I will go back to Jordan for my future purchases, and I will definitely ask for Shawndel. One suggestion I have for them is to have a better organized coffee place in the waiting area. Coffee creamer was over and there was no cups visible anywhere. read more

Jordan Automotive is excellent at everything they do. I leased my car from them and have used heir service department. Always first class, professional service. But this review is about the Collision Center. From my first contact - regarding a repair to a damaged rear tailgate, they were awesome. Fast, efficient, friendly. They really know their business. They worked well with my insurance company and they even saved me the cost of my deductible by noticing that I had purchased an obscure extra when I leased the car that refunded my deductible if I ever had to use it. The body work was excellent. If I ever have to have any automotive body work to be done - I will go to Jordan. Don't mean to sound like a commercial, but this business is outstanding. read more

I live in Chicago and was very worried about buying a used car in the city. I am originally from the Michiana area so thought it would be a better bet to look in Mishawaka. No regrets! Jordan Automotive gave me a great deal on a certified pre-owned Toyota. There was no pressure to buy, finance, or add extras to the package at all. I was advised according to what I was looking for and it was such a relief to have staff that were more concerned with my satisfaction with the purchase than making the purchase itself. It came fully inspected and after 2 weeks, I've had no problems. Angela and Dan were wonderful and patient in assisting me with test drives (I took at least 3 on this car before deciding!) and answering my questions about financing, changing registration over to Illinois, advice about different models. Since I was out of town, I was unable to purchase the car right away and they held it for me for longer than I expected with a verbal commitment to buy. And when I called back, they had marked down my car by $400! It was a great surprise. I would definitely recommend Jordan Ford to anyone who is buying a car. Slowest service. Not sure the Toyota free care is worth it when it takes 2 hours to rotate tires and check fluids and belts

On our long cross-country road trip, we realized the car was overdue for an oil change. It uses so little oil I've carelessly gotten out of the habit of checking oil levels, so the routine oil changes are necessary for that as well as the change itself. So we made a stop at Jordan Toyota in Mishakawa, IN for an oil change, chosen from the web as the closest dealer offering express lube service. Talk about a first class operation: cars sold for a fixed price by sales people on salary with no commissions. Clean and new facilities. Spacious, comfortable waiting area. Free cookies, coffee and bottled water. Service performed in an hour for a price comparable to California. AND, for those so inclined, a masseuse and manicurist on site, services also included in the price of your oil change or other service. Cheryl talked with a woman from Michigan who drives down to Jordan Toyota because their service department is more trustworthy than her home-town outfit. I scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle which they said they would hold for me. They sold the vehicle before my appointment. Not to mention that I didn't go look at other vehicles because I made a commitment to be at that appointment. After I found out that they sold the vehicle from under me, I went back to another dealership to see if they had another vehicle that I was interested in and they did not. Therefore, I lost out on two opportunities because of Jordan Automotive. read more
