Need to look at the money in your account? Hope your in the state of utah or have AMAZING WIFI because their system will take 10+ Minutes to load you INTO the app(tapping on your account to load your money and where you've spent it will cause you to wait another 10min)! Do you need to move money on weekends?! Goodnews! the only days your off, so is the bank! Acctually to laugh at you even harder the locations that are open wont let you move money, they'll only allow you to take it out. Do you want to pay someone electronically? Maybe you need to pay someone who doesn't have a card reader and only accepts electronic phone to phone payments? You're SOL(shi.. out of luck) you are not paying them because you'd think itd be something as simple as exchanging phone numbers and setting price then paying it? NOOO its a confusing, complicated system that on top of all of that doesnt let the payment go through half the times. Are you new in town and expect to have a working bank account after opening one with them? TOO BAD you must be a memeber for a month or longer before you can move money or do just about anything other than store money FOR THE BANK TO USE, NOT YOU. Did you go out of state and forget to tell them? Wonderful news your card is locked. Hope its not the weekend and their office is closed!!xoxo. Did your card get stolen or maybe you lost it (but thankfully you still have it on your phone cause of apple-pay) so you let the bank know to check for fraud but to not close it because you need it as its on your phone still and the only way to pay for things that you need? Great news they didnt/dont listen to anything you just said and go off policy. The second you said "stolen card" they stopped listening and just closed your card!! Do you need to move money internally?(another person has the same bank as you) Great news this also works half the time! Did someone steal money from you or did you make a mistake and now need a certain purchase cancelled before its fully posted on your bank account?! Goodnews this company is so money grubby they will not cancel it for you unless you can prove something or had the foresight to screenshot every and any kind of proof they might need to fullfill your request! Coming from an out of state bank that had zelle implanted in it making cashless payments to people in ANY bank. Having an account i can 100% use how i want IMMIDIETLY right from the get go of opening an account with them. Never even having to leave my house to talk to the bank, or fix any issue. I can confidently say Jordan Credit Union is in the Stone ages when it comes to banking. Save yourself the time, stress, and general dissapointment with this place. read more

Worst bank EVER! My niece had some fraudulent activity on her account through a tik tok shop and the bank refuses to refund her money. It has been four weeks and they will not refund and the tik tok shop disappear which should be obvious that they are scammers! They up and closed my checking account that I had for years without notice. Never bank with them! read more

After the recent passing of my mom, I was looking for help on her accounts, being her power of attorney. However not being a beneficiary (who has also passed away) on the account I was not able to get any information in person. After leaving annoyed, I called the Sandy branch and talked to CJ Jones who listened, understood and walked me thru what I need to do to move forward. She was so sweet and helpful. If I could give negative 10 I would, DO NOT BANK HERE they are always understaffed no one is trained properly and there will be literally no one in there and it's still a half hour or more wait cuz again NO ONE WANTS TO BANK HERE run and run fast, I'd rather pay fees at a non credit union than use these guys, I'm locked in for a year with my box but so help me God when I have time I'm closing it out I just can't wait 3 hrs for them to figure out how to close it. I am upset so take this review with a grain of salt. I transfered $15 from my savings account to my checking so I could venmo someone and the transfer apparently did not go through in time so I was charged $105 in overdraft fees over two days before I was notified there was a negative balance on my account. So basically I just spent $120 trying to venmo someone fifteen bucks. I am transferring all my money to another bank and will not be doing business with Jordan again. This is literally more than I have available to spend on groceries each week so I'm pretty angry. read more

Horrible bank to do business with. I called the JCU during business hours on a Saturday to get an payoff quote from my auto loan and their automated system makes it impossible to get a hold of an actual human... instead they tell you to do everything online. Great customer service guys. It's very difficult to sign up for a online service account. Everything requires approval that takes days to hear a response on. I can't wait to ditch this bank when I refinance. read more

I'm a fan of my credit union...but it is by no means perfect. Good news: Great interest rates on savings account, competitive APR rates on lines of credit, and the convenience of 'shared branching' across other local (and further abroad) credit union branches. This last part is great if funds are needed from our credit union, if we needed it, from wherever we are. ...However...just accessing $$$ isn't the only thing that's needed from a banking institution: Credit unions excel when it comes to in-branch convenience and customer service, but in the modern world, I have zero desire to fill out paper forms, or even bother with in-person customer service. I would greatly appreciate it if Jordan Credit Union would vastly modernize their banking services. I would love to learn how/why customers are willing to forego the conveniences of online banking that that were mandated by normal banks since 2001. Maybe people in Sandy just like things old-fashioned; and I will never have time to drive to Sandy to fill out paperwork before their paperwork before branches close. Thus I am stuck in an eternal struggle with my credit union -- I appreciate the interest rates and generous loan offerings ... and yet I have difficulty using these services due to the lack of online account management options. I love the people at Jordan Credit Union.. However, I am choosing to close my account after I was told by Kelly at the New Bingham Branch in West Jordan that: " If you choose to cancel your account, your credit score will continue to decline and it will be very hard for you to get an account elsewhere". I have an account elsewhere! Then I was told I NEEDED to give a reason for cancellation before I close my account. This is AMERICA. Not China! I don't need to provide you with any further information on why I am choosing to leave. read more

I lost my debit card so when I called in they told me I could come in and have one made in less than 5 minutes. So I ran over on my lunch, it was amazing! I even got to pick my new pin number. No need to wait for the card to come in the mail and mess with memorizing a new pin number I didn't pick. Very convenient! read more

The most difficult bank to work with. I got an auto loan through them and had to find out my account number myself after being on the phone for an hour. Then they requested that I provide them with auto insurance info and sent it over three times. Finally I worked. Then their awful online banking was finally improved and I was able to look everything up myself, I discovered that they had added over $900 dollars to my loan for their own insurance. I'm going to pay this loan off in under 12 months because I hate this bank much. There are 100 other banks in Utah better than this one. read more

I have been working with Elmer, one of the loan officers at the Sandy branch, and he has been very helpful and efficient in not only getting my car refinanced with a much better rate, but also as I look for a boat. He has been patient and has explained step-by-step how the whole process works so there are no surprises. I plan on coming back to him in the future if or whenever I am need of another loan. The new president of this credit union, James Nelson is horrible. I have been with them for 26 years. It was never explained to me how the reward checking dates worked. I always assumed that it was from the first day to the last day of each month. Lately I've been missing my interest for the month because of the dates being off and not having the right number of debit card transactions. I always make sure I do have enough transactions for the reward interest based on the 1st to the last day of the month. I couldn't figure out why I kept missing the monthly interest. Finally, I figured it out. When I contacted the new president about the error, he wouldn't help me out or act even remotely interested in making it right. The old president was more helpful. The have quite a large amount of money in checking, hold a large mortgage with them (several refinances in the past) with the credit union and IRA's and he doesn't act like he cares. I guess I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Three and a half stars is about right for Jordan Credit Union. Their interest rates can't be beat for loans. And their service is OKAY. That being said they operate like the internet hasn't been invented. We took out a credit consolidation loan and we had to come in and fill out all the paperwork in person. Never mind you, there are places that will give you a mortgage entirely online. This place required me to truck out to Sandy Utah before 6:00 pm on a weekday night which is nearly impossible coming from downtown. Once they bring their banking into the 21st century my review will be updated to 5 stars. read more

Been with this bank for 16 years and had my card compromised and it took 6 weeks to get a new card, due to the lack of attention of the staff especially the visa dept manager. Horrible service!!! Time for a new bank read more
