Had a super experience with the Buford store a week ago, buying a suit and having it altered. Service, price and quality were great. But today they refuse to tell me when/if the tailor will be working again, despite having suggested I bring in other garments to be altered. Supposedly concerned about safety of employees, so they refuse to provide a schedule of hours. Not the way to bring in business. Very disappointed after a great interaction earlier. read more

My nephew is in town for the Bills game from college and we needed to prep him for job or internship interviews for this summer. That being said, we came here and was helped by Scott. He brought out the tape measure to double check my nephew's size and tried on a bunch of stuff. Super helpful, good advice. We ended up getting a sport coat and a couple shirts so he will be set up for when the time comes. I came into Jos. A. Bank today to get fitted for my friend's wedding. When we walked in we were told "we will be right with you just give us a minute." I sat down and waited for 40 minutes before the guy came back out and began serving a customer that had come in after me. He then came over and said "have you been helped yet?" I told him again no and he said "don't worry we will be with you soon." I continued to wait another 30 minutes before I finally got up and walked out without being helped. I am very dissatisfied with the service and ignorance at this location. I would recommend to anyone to use Men's Warehouse, Brooks Brothers, or another company that values their customers time over Jos. A. Bank. read more

I was trying to rent a tuxedo from the Buford store and have it delivered to another market. The store said the tux would be delivered on a Monday, but it never arrived. I called the Buford store for help and they promised to call me back but never did. I called again and spoke to the rudest manager who condescendingly said, "Have a good day" and hung up on me after I asked her not to charge me a cancellation fee when it was their fault. I tried to call back and get her name and she hung up on me again. If you need a tux on a given day, I do not recommend this store and if you expect good customer service and professionalism, I really don't recommend this store. read more

Great experience renting a tux for our wedding. Assistant manager was very attentive to our needs, very helpful, had great suggestions, was very honest and didn't .are us feel pressured. The store itself had a large selection of clothing and accessories and a friendly staff. My best friend was getting married and the bride/groom selected to get suits from this establishment. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a friendly staff who were helpful (mostly) during the fitting. The first young man (I believe to have been a newer hire ) struggled with the measurements but was taught by the lady running the store and did a good job teaching him. I picked up my suit the day before we left town for the wedding, cutting it a little close. The same lady running the store had me try on the suit and I found that my pants were a little too short but there was no time to fix it. The rest of the suit appeared to be okay until the wedding where I found out that my tie was made for an elf... I'm 6feet tall and this tie, which was the pre tied clip on type (not my pick) came down above my belly button, it was almost comical. There were also several issues with the other groomsmen suits... The grooms white button up shirt had a noticeable tear where you secure the buttons on the front of the shirt. The best mans pants didn't fit... he's a runner and small statured man so it's not like he's an obese person or gained a lot of wait in the month time span. One groomsman had a missing button on his suit jacket. The father of the bride "white" shirt was so dingy that he had to go buy a used one. It wasn't even a shirt I would donate to goodwill. His tie was also made for an Oompa Loompa working in the chocolate factory. Luckily we were able to make due and limp the suits to work for the wedding. When we got the suits (on Thursday) we were told we could drop them off at any Jos A Bank on Sunday (kind of a quick turn around). This proved to be untrue and the one in Asheville stated they could not be returned there. So we then had to hurry back Sunday morning to give the suits back in time before being charged extra. While returning the suit, I was already frustrated from the shortcomings of the suits and issues that arose after being charged nearly $300. Times rule found that ridiculous. Although the staff told me there was nothing they could do, they were apologetic and courteous during the entire encounter. So although this is more of a tale of two cities, I MIGHT recommend this store if you were going to be an item in the store in person but there is no way I could recommend getting suits measured for an event. Due to being charged that much for faulty suits, I don't know that I'll be back though. read more

I needed a couple suits for my work a 3 weeks ago. I had never been to a JABanks before. The staff greeted my wife & I immediately. They were very helpful despite it being a busy Saturday and each of the staff was multitasking. I had the suits measured for me & fitted. When I picked the suits up everything was very good & fit well. I am actually going there again soon. The location is good & plenty of parking spaces read more

I was not even in the market for a suit but I stumbled on a sale I saw online Saturday night. A little hidden in the shopping center but still pretty easy to find, just look for the la fitness. I came in Sunday and the sale had ended. Fortunately for me, they honored the sale price. I was not sure on what color I wanted but the salesperson broke out 6 different colors to choose from and helped me narrow it down to 2 colors and I went with a light gray one. He had me try it on, checked the fit of the jacket and suggested the alterations for the pants. This is my 2nd suit from jos a bank so I know the quality and look will be great. Ask for Brandon, he knows his stuff! read more

If I could give this store in particular less than one star I would. Poor customer service. "Better than you" attitude. Awful commission driven sales team that will leave you at the drop of a hat if someone else more promising walks in. Failed to follow through on my order; and caused me to be without ties for myself and my groomsmen just 4 days before my wedding. Not sure what happened to Jos A. Bank; used to be quality, now it's just a horrible experience where you can watch the sales team smirk while you swipe your card. We live in Norcross but stopped in this location to check out suits for groomsman and myself. Brandon was our guy and although we had some minor issues with the suit I ordered for myself, Brandon fixed everything with personal attention that most sales reps would not consider doing. Our groomsman suits came out great and I was very pleased with mine and the custom ordered shirt.
