They hardly carry the most common sizes. Or don't order enough to begin with. And they make up their own hours. Mall doesn't close until 8pm on a Saturday, torrid closes at 6. No reason given. I wish I could make up my own hours at my place of employment. Steer clear and go to the next closest Torrid.

This particular employee said very loudly "not gonna buy them? Why not? " I said they just didn't work . Again she asked me "but why?" And I said "if you just know they didn't fit "and I walked out. I have never felt more ashamed . Another occurrence with a different employee ( I think management actually) I went in to get shorts and was checking out , I usually like to talk to people so I tried to start a conversation with the manager and ask how her day has been and such. I just want to pay and go and if you are going to offer "deals", then just lower the price already. But I suppose most people like a "sale". The store is well lit and laid out nicely. I called the card to pay it and she told me I had a late fee. I tried to explain I'm calling as soon as I got anything and all I have is the card no bill and she said she can't do anything about it to call back when I get a bill so I cancel the card since I already have a late fee first month having the card. She says all rudely I'll be happy to help you with that. She closes it I get the bill and then they said we can't help you at all since you closed the account it would have been nice if that rude ____ would have said that before I closed it but no why would they look out to help you I mean it's only CUSTOMER SERVICE. So I had to pay it after talking to many customer service reps that all said there's no help available. My other problem with customer service is it's suppose to be a place to get help but they hire people that have such a deep a accent you can't understand them and honestly I don't think they understand you either because all they say is we can't help you. Victoria secret has a 2.2 star rating for their customer service that's BAD! Don't they understand when people close their accounts over something stupid like a late fee THEY LOOSE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. I honestly planned to get a gift card only but the semi clearance sale racks reeled me in. This location is smaller then the ones I am used to here in MD but it made it easier for me to capture some great buys. The clearance rack was neat and orderly by size and style, two employees asked to assist me & I was really impressed. The semi annual items are current in season items that I've paid regular price for and love. It was a no brainer to stock up on some goodies in different sizes. The counter lady was really nice and pleasant and made my check out process a breeze. If ever in this area again, I would not hesitate to stop here again to grab some good buys and excellent customer service! Oh, & the semi annual items were an additional 25% off!!! The fit was so perfect (and I have a hard shape to fit, skinny legs, thick waist) that I googled the label in hopes of finding more on ebay. The brand is Westport and the logo says W62 - so if you ever see this brand in your thrift store travels scoop them up! Anyway..... Low and behold they carry these jeans at Dress Barn. I do own a few Dress Barn labels from my thrifting scores but never pants. That fit was so perfect I had to go and get more and it was perfect timing too because I just happened to get Tanger Outlet coupons in the mail - double score! I called the store and described what was on the label of the jeans I had and she quickly found a pair and put them at the counter for a 24 hour hold. $29.99 (on sale) is still a bit more than I like to spend, even with the 25% Tanger but that fit.... All I can say is I walked out with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR pairs of this great jeans, all for a whopping $40!!! And that total includes a scarf! How you ask when they were $29.99 a piece? Well.....they had some sales racks in the back and I can never walk past a sales rack. Turns out they had the same jeans, same size only in petite on clearance (which actually fit even better) combined with my 25% Tanger coupon. The $40 total also included a great infinity scarf I found on clearance in the 70% section. Actually there was quite the collection of clearance items for 30%, 50, and & 70% off. Love me some clearance racks!!! Aside from the clearance racks the regular priced items were very fashionable and they had plus sizes in the same styles as misses. I loved the majority of clothes they had and any of the pieces could easily fit nicely in my wardrobe for casual and business, but not at those prices. Not that they were bad, they were just...well, retail, and um I don't pay retail, hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. The two sales gals were wonderful as well, one even worked there for 20 years, that's unheard of in retail. The dressing rooms were clean and well lit. Overall the store had a nice flow and pretty displays that made it hard to walk away (must.remember.I.don't.pay.retail).
