When I entered the store, no one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. I could clearly see two sales associates present, yet neither acknowledged my presence. I walked to the back of the store to browse the clearance section and then made my way back to the front, and still, no one offered help or even a simple greeting. So disappointed in this store and the salesman that lied to us... Yes, he straight up lied, he knew he was lying and we were sure to tell him he lied and we'll never do business with him or that store again. Back story: We bought my son, 14yrs old, his first suite 2yrs ago and while looking at options the salesman showed us a suite style that would grow with my son. Specifically, he said this style was a classic, staple with J.A.B., had been in the J.A.B. collection forever and was going to continue to be in the collection forever. The salesman said, "get this type of suite because you can come back and just replace the coat or pants, as he grows." I spent a little more money thinking, this is great... The salesman specifically said J.A.B. will allow you to just buy the coat or pants to replace what he has outgrown, and I can promise you this style will be available. Well, today we walked in knowing we just needed to replace the pants and as soon as the same salesman saw the suite he immediately said "we don't carry that suite anymore." I wasn't sure if it was the same salesman that sold us the suite - but it was... Me and my son both recognized him, he's the main salesman we've always seen. He tried to weasel out of it, saying he never said that, but we both knew it was him and both remember exactly the point, "we will have this style for a long time." - which was a lie.... I wish I had gotten his name to put him in blast because I am so disappointed.... I was so hoping to find a store to establish a relationship with, for repeat business, but this is so disappointing.... We will never do business with that store or Joseph A Bank again. I am part of a wedding using Jos A Bank. I just called this location trying to get a suit with the group number that the groom provided. I explained this and the man I was talking to said they didn't do group numbers and he was incredibly rude and frustrating to talk to. He didn't want to help nor would he even ask for my group number to get me ready for the wedding. Thanks for nothing. Don't give them your business. Overall, a horrible experience. The alterations for my jacket were very poorly done & made the jacket unwearable. I insisted on what needed to be done to the jacket & was completely ignored. On top of that, I was charged for things that they could not itemize, meaning there was an additional $50 on my ticket that they could not account for. Poorly organized, as well. I called inquiring about pants and jacket that we paid for and ordered 13 days ago. Linda asked if they were ordered or transferred, to which I replied that I was not certain of how they were being obtained. She laughed at me and said"You don't know? I will let the man that helped you with this take care of this when he comes in at 11:00." Wow! Excellent customer service! I needed the pants tomorrow and the alterations will take a moment so I really needed your help Linda. I will however finish with my phone call to corporate.
