    Asada nachos

If you're in Grand Central Market and craving something satisfying, Jose Chiquito is a must. I came here for the new Asada Nachos and was blown away, they're cheesy, loaded with flavor, and perfect for sharing. I also tried the pancakes with bacon and eggs; a true breakfast classic that hit the spot, and the veggie wrap, which was fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. To wash it all down, I had their Horchata coffee, agua de piña, and agua de jamaica. Refreshing and so good! The service was friendly and fast, the vibe is casual, and the portions are generous. A hidden gem for breakfast lovers and nacho fans alike. Will definitely be back! Tip: They serve breakfast all day and are open 8 AM to 9 PM.

Stopped by for an evening breakfast burrito. Price is a little bit higher for the size but it did taste good and is in a popular area. I was glad they're still oven after 6pm! Plenty of tables and booths nearby to enjoy the meal.

I got a salad burrito. It was nice. The service was top tier. My wait was brief. I was looking for a salad in the marketplace and someone recommended them. It ate my food on the small counter on the side.

High quality French fry "nachos"! Delicious flavor, rich and perfectly balanced. The service was so helpful, when our buzzer told us the food was ready, the guy giving the food read our actions (reaching for Tapatio) and offered salsas if we want more spice. We politely declined, but noted that for a food stall, that was above and beyond! The styling of the stall was cute, easy to read, and "modernized" that helped provide confidence that what we would get would be quality. It delivered!

Decided to get some pancakes for dinner. Got a two stack, the staff were very helpful and nice. The pancakes were nice and really warm (everyone knows that's important for some good pancakes). They weren't the best I've had but they definitely hit the spot and did the job. We got two syrups and cut them up like some kids because pancakes taste the best when they are cut into pieces!

Who is Jose Chiquito? Out of all of the eateries in Grand Central Market this is the one my daughter chose since she wanted chilaquiles. To our surprise they were verde (green) and not rojo (red). The plate was large enough for 2 people to share and included beans and rice, along with cotija cheese on top rather than melted jack cheese. Service was friendly and food was prepared quickly.

    Chipotle Chicken Wrap!

Another day, another trip to the Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles! It was my turn to pick where we ate at the market, and thanks to an extremely appetizing photo of a Chipotle chicken wrap, Jose Chiquito was the place for me! Located on one of the side walls, this busy booth has all the sandwiches, burritos, wraps, and salads you could want and fair enough prices for the quantity you are going to get. Of course, I had to order the Chipotle Chicken Wrap and that thing was much bigger then I was anticipating. This massive burrito didn't come alone as it was served with a heaping of french fries as well. How was the food you ask? I would love to tell you. The burrito itself was absolutely delicious, stuffed to the max, and filled me up for two meals since I couldn't finish it the first time around. The french fries on the side were really dang good as well, being hot, tasty, and the perfect parter for the burrito. Overall, Jose Chiquito was a top notch spot for lunch and a place I'll be ordering from in the future. The staff was quick, the prices were fair, and the food was great. If you find yourself reading this and wondering if you should eat here, the answer is yes!

There are so many options of eateries in the Grand Central Market, but I was on the hunt for breakfast. I was excited to see Jose Chiquito's has breakfast burritos but once I scanned the menu, saw they had a lot of yummy options. I ended up going with the Chipotle Chicken wrap and it was everything I wanted. Super filling and tasty! Definitely hit the spot. The person I was with got one of the breakfast burritos and really liked how spicy the salsa was. It did take a while to get our food, but we were happy customers once we had food in our bellies. A solid spot and prices were pretty affordable.

I love trying new spots at Grand Central market!! My first time here; it was such a nice experience. I got the chilaquiles verde... the rice and beans almost outshined the chilaquiles. They were so flavourful!!! The service was as quick as you'd expect but the staff was really nice. We made sure to compliment the food before we left because you can tell there was a lot of care that went into making it. If you're looking for a spot in Grand central market that might be good as a one-stop for a small group, Definitely come here! The menu is varied, but also simple, with more than a couple vegan options too!

I got some crazy, whiny, always hungry and picky tweens. I don't have the time to go to every single food spot inside @grandcentralmarketla . Don't get me wrong! Food there is amazing but each spot mainly focuses on 1 type of cuisine. As a busy mom, I am multitasking and I can't go to like 3 food stalls. If I have to pick one spot that offers lots of things on the menu, it's @josechiquito.cm !!! They got breakfast, salads, wraps, all types of burgers, sandwiches and way more. What did I order? - Breakfast Burrito for Jaxon - BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger for Brock - Philly Cheesesteak for Mom - Chinese Chicken Salad to share - Bottled Orange Fanta for Brock - Horchata for Jaxon - Bottled Water for Mom Brock had a bottled Orange Fanta for the first time and of course the tween that he is thought it was soooo cool! He loved his burger. Jaxon always craves breakfast burritos and so happy I can get one at 3:45pm and he thought the horchata was good. For me the mom, the Philly Cheesesteak is , its huge and tasted so good the next day after I placed it in the air fryer. I really enjoyed my food here and my boys too. FYI: Don't keep your autistic kids at home. They need to explore too. Yes, it's more tough but at the end it's an experience they will bring up and retell. Love and treat your spectrum kids equally. Remember in this harsh world, they will be faced with too many NOs, give them a chance of lots of Okay YES, let's do it!

I love a place that has breakfast burritos all day! I got the chorizo one and it was delicious and had a lot of flavor. Not a long wait at this place and service was nice.

I'm sure all of their food is great but I always go for the breakfast burritos! One of my favorite and frequent stops. I went there earlier today (07/04) And the breakfast burrito was good as always. I also noticed they have a new menu and it seems like some new items as well. At least I never noticed they had asada fries. I like the new menu it seems easier to understand. The main reason I wanted to update my original review was because I also got some great customer service today. The cashier accidentally gave my order to the person who ordered right before me and they also forgot to charge me to add avocado so I figured maybe he just didn't hear me when I said it so I let it go. Once they informed me that there was the mix up he was immediately apologetic. More so than I needed honestly but that's a good thing. I wasn't in a huge rush so it didn't bother me and these things usually don't but still I appreciated the apology and they added the avocado even though he forgot to add it. This was after I let him know it wasn't added when he was confirming what I ordered. He also offered me another drink for free for the mixup and wait. It was about 23 minutes of waiting which isn't long in general but for GCM where you expect quick service it can be. I'll say that I come here often and have never had any issues or mix ups and we all make mistakes at work sometimes so I in no way mean to say any of this as a way to "warn" people. This doesn't happen. It was the first time and I just appreciated the hospitality and offering the drink and still seeing the avocado. I told them they didn't have to since I wasn't charged so they could've had an out. All in all good times and I will of course be back soon. I'll have to try those asada fries

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Lunch rush came around 1:30pm. The workers were kind and helpful, each working diligently to complete everyone's order timely. I ordered the Mamma Mia, Dante, New Yorker--with Dante coming out as my fav. Shoutout to their truffle sauce, light yet not overbearing! Loved to see how they only use focaccia that just come out of the oven, and they cut your sandwich's meat from the meat hunk on an order basis. Very fresh, never greasy. I thought the Dante and Mamma Mia could improve by adding just one more ingredient as a cherry on top, like a sort of nut (walnuts, pine nuts) or something that helps the sandwich spark. Would love to see a bit more arugula too. No public bathroom--closest one is probably Hmart across the street (needs a code). Parking is metered, but there's free neighborhood parking 1-2 blocks away if you're able to find a spot. There's a few seats (5-6) and a standing bar around the perimeter of the store. Also, the drinks are money but you can ask for a water cup for free.

tl;dr the Dutch crunch rolls highlight an otherwise standard lineup of hearty deli sandwiches…read more The Los Angeles sandwich scene ranges from terrific tortas to farmer's market-on-a-bun, but few spots have embraced the Bay Area's beloved Dutch crunch roll. These slightly sweet hoagie rolls are coated with rice flour, creating an addictively crunchy, tortoise-shell top. While hard to find, Dutch crunch rolls are the specialty at Ghost Sando Shop. This small sandwich chain (from the mind of NorCal native and former Chipotle exec Benjamin Sales) debuted in the Fairfax District, and it has expanded to Orange County and the Valley. Every sandwich at Ghost Sando sports a Dutch crunch roll, and the lineup has achieved TikTok fame. Briefly, Grand Central Market is a semi-outdoor industrial market turned upscale food court. The sky-high walls are painted white, and the concrete floors are slickly polished. Even during the day, only a few rays of sunshine enter through the skylight roof, leaving each vendor's neon sign to pop. During busy hours, expect foot traffic shoulder-to-shoulder through the narrow aisleways. Here, Ghost Sando has a central stall near the wide stairwell. You can't miss the bright teal paint or custom green neon sign. The walls are tastefully decked with hexagon tile and wooden slats. The sandwich production line is front and center, and staff members buzz around even well after the weekday lunch rush. Stools are pressed up against the long stainless steel bar counter, guaranteeing a seat for customers. My partner and I visited Ghost Sando for a weekday lunch, but our food was prepared relatively quickly. Immediately, I was shocked by the sheer density of the sandwiches. Rolled into compact cylinders, the weight could have fooled me into thinking they were bricks. The "Large" size was plenty for even a hefty appetite, but I can't imagine how anyone could tackle the double-topping "XX Large" portions. I also enjoyed the unique Dutch crunch loaf -- consider holding your sandwich upside-down to fully appreciate the crispy shell. Otherwise, the sandwiches were more standard than spectacular. The cold cuts are more like grocery store variety than premium deli, and the veggies are only a step above Subway. I preferred the mildly spicy Firebird to the warm-ish Pastrami Mami, but neither blew my socks off. The service is mostly disengaged, and the sandwiches run from $15 each. Reasonably, a sandwich can be extended across 2 meals. The sandos are mostly standard, but the Dutch crunch rolls are mildly addictive. While Ghost Sando is not a reason alone to pay GCM a visit, it is a filling and reliable bet for routine DTLA lunch.
