AHS call. They showed up late, looked at my water heater for a few seconds and immediately had to…read morecall "the boss". We've had these clowns come in and cause damages to a kitchen drain cleanout before and then high-tail it out without unclogging a simple blockage. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled nor did I have very high hopes for our water heater to be replaced. Well, my assumptions were correct. Next thing I know I'm being told I will be on the hook for an extra $1200 for a bunch of unrelated BS they couldn't even properly explain. On top of that they basically want me to pull the old water heater out myself. Don't trust these guys! American Home Shield is notoriously hard to deal with as a service provider, I get it. But how hard is it to just do a simple job?
