If you're American, you'll balk at the price, but do keep in mind that you're paying an actual human who is going to wash, dry, and fold your belongings all while you're out living your life.
Limerick does technically have some self-serve laundromats, but they are one or two unattended machines behind select gas (petrol) stations if you're into that and sitting in your car waiting.
