It's been easy to schedule an appointment and/or go into the office for urgent care. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes to be seen (they must schedule really well). The doctors are very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and with good follow through. One of most wonderful things about the practice is that they listen to you....no turning their back to you while they use the computer or anxious to move on to another patient. They address you by name and ask about things we've talked about in the past. I've been cared by them for little issues as well as suggesting/follow up surgeries and other more involved procedures. Chris, their Medical Technician, is the best. When taking blood, you can't even feel the needle and he always gets it the first time. He is very personable and makes giving blood a breeze! I would like to leave a review, although I've not had a recent experience with carrier in a while…read more(I've been admitted a couple times). I passed by recently, and remembered the couple admissions (although distorted memories because of mania on all occasions) that the staff at least a majority of them work their absolute best to give the quality of care that's necessary for the numerous different cases of often times very difficult to deal with patients including myself. I hope that if, whomever which staff comes across this review, might possibly remember me, thank you for doing your absolute best (most of you) to care for us. I remember CSU, which I was transported to after having an incident with another patient. It is hard to remember names, but who stands out and I remember thoroughly is Cynthia the MHT in csu. Although I had acted very improper towards her due to my heightened manic delusional state of mind, I do remember her being ONE of the kindest, most compassionate and down to earth human beings ive ever known and she is made for this type of industry. If Cynthia comes across this interview I apologize for my behavior towards you and I really thank you for doing your best to mitigate and deal with it. Keep being you and doing what you do There are other staff as well that I remember faces of but not names, alot of the MHTs in CSU are cool people, except one particular bald headed individual whom I remember saying he enjoys hurting people. I remember a lot of complaints going in about him including my own, hopefully he was removed. Food is great too. Very accommodating. I wish you all the best and much luck with handling future patients. Hopefully if I ever have to come back which I doubt it as I've been stable a long time now, it'll be voluntary and I'll be much easier and pleasant to deal with. Much love

1. They don't brief the patient prior to admittance what to pack- the website is wrong. No…read moretoiletries, hoodies , any clothing g or shoes w laces or strings allowed. Horrible communication. 2. No communication w family members whatsoever by the social workers. No calls returned to answer questions. 3. No one on one therapy. Just group therapy for topics not related to the reason the person admitted themselves there. 4. The nurses were great but other staff 100% unhelpful. Care quality was dispensing drugs for detox only with therapy re coping when discharged. To improve they need to give the appropriate therapy on a case by case basis. Not treating people who voluntarily admitted themselves like they are in a high security prison. Patients should be separated and put with others with same problems
