I went for a basic root canal and…read moregave my insurance and everything beforehand and all seemed well. 2 months later, I still hadn't heard anything from my insurance about processing a claim and got something in the mail about still having to pay about $1500 out of my own pocket due to missing information the office never gave originally. I called over way too many times and left countless amounts voicemails and always got their machine and never a call back. I had made a few 40mins trips down there for them to tell me "We submitted it!" But never seeing anything process with insurance WEEKS later. When me and some family went back for the last time, we made them print off a pice of paper with all the information missing and submitted ourselves and suddenly it was getting processed. Their website is not accurate or descriptive to know when they're open, they never communicated accurate information, I don't think they actually tried to fix anything, never called back, don't have any information about them because there's not a website with any information on them, and are an experienced office but forget to have paperwork signed for? I don't expected to be treated like royalty, but I at least expect communication and they couldn't even do that when I had reached out. I only got the problem solved when I physically got the information and submitted it to insurance via email and saw results almost instantly. Not professional and not personable.

After thorough testing, Dr. Miranda determined that my tooth had normal sensitivity and did not need a root canal after all. What impressed me most was Dr. Miranda's honesty and attention to detail. She explained that because the root is so close to the nerve, attempting a root canal could very likely cause permanent numbness in that area of my face. Instead of performing an unnecessary procedure, she took the ethical and professional approach and advised against it. Even without the ability to speak during the procedure, I was able to raise my hand to signal if I was feeling pain (though I never needed to!) I was in considerable pain, however, the thought of a root canal sounded both painful and frightening. But ... not at all ... no pain or discomfort during the procedure (other than the numbing shot) and nothing afterwards that I couldn't control with Advil. Dr. Brumit is a very kind and professional man. Until now, I didn't even know what an endodontist was. He took the time to explain (and explain again!) my options for my teeth. He gave me the options and probabilities, both of which helped me decide my best course of action. I really appreciated how patient he was because I just wasn't getting it at first. She also takes my insurance which helps alot. She was able to fix my front tooth when I was there for the cleaning. No dentist is painless, but this one is pretty close. I took my son there for a simple cleaning and check up to see how his teeth were doing. NON of the equipment worked. They screwed up the panoramic X-ray. It didn't even develop. Whatever laptop / camera they use didn't work. And on top of it all it was a complete cluster. No one knew what they were doing. I witnessed them taking X-rays of a women who was obviously pregnant with no lead vest. Not that I know that would help. They cleaned my sons teeth in less then five minutes. Burned his lip with the tool. Plus dug her nails into his gums and cheek. Poor guy was hurting when we left. My son has a tooth that needs extracted, the dentist said oh she could do it. I was like ok but is it going to be easy or should he be put under. She literally kept repeating "it is what it is" over and over to all my questions. I was so pissed when we left I couldn't believe this office was legally opened in the US. It totally made me think of a dentist office in Mexico. The interior of the building looks run down and scary. The lights were mostly off. Even in the teenie tiny waiting area. Your knees literally would touch the person across from you if your not careful. Im not kidding here folks. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE. The only reason I didn't walk out immediately was because it was the closest place that took my sons dental insurance. He is on state medical due to my divorce. So sad to think other people might fall into this situation due to locality. Trust me I will drive my son to the city to find quality care before I ever let these nuts touch him again.

After the consultation, I learned I didn't need a root canal--despite having seen two other dentists who said I did based on X-rays and scans. Their equipment is hands down better than most dentists', or at least far more thorough. I didn't think a root canal was necessary because my tooth rarely hurt, only after eating when something got caught in the cracked tooth. I asked for a consultation, and we came to the conclusion that I didn't need one. The staff is very friendly, and I do recommend them. The only downside is that you have to pay upfront, and insurance reimburses you afterward. You need to have the funds available at the time of service.
