I took a dress in to be altered and agreed upon what needed to be done. When I came in to pick it up I tried it on and there were a couple of small things I was not happy with, as it seemed quite rushed and unfinished. I was very calm and respectful when asking for a few changes. The guy there, whose name I didn't catch, took the dress back in a huff and quickly sewed the other edge. I then looked again & there was all this extra material that was sticking out. He took it back & cut it very quickly and then came out and tried to shove the dress in the bag and get me to pay. I said, can I please take another look. At this point, he started to get very rude and told me that if I wanted anything else done, I need to pay an extra $25. I usually would have no problem with this, but I said to him that I don't see why I need to pay an extra $25 if the original work they agreed upon was not done properly. He told me it was not agreed upon & that he did not like 'cheap' people. Eventually after some back and forth, I said to him that I have never had someone be so rude to me before, to which he responded "I am rude to rude people". I paid for it, without getting the extra changes done and regretted paying for this unfinished work immediately. But honestly I was just in shock & so upset that I wasn't thinking straight & just wanted to get out of there. I don't think it is unreasonable to question something I'm unhappy with if the work was not done as agreed & done poorly. I just cannot believe how I was treated and hope that the same thing does not happen to someone else.
