I applied for disability insurance through them and got denied after they went through my medical records with a fine tooth comb, telling me I was denied because of health conditions I do not have. If they would read the medical reports and tests correctly, they would know that. Granted, those reports are very complex, but I would hope they employ a doctor or someone who knows about these things to read through my medical history. I was denied without being able to explain anything (I truly think if we had a conversation before my denial we could have come to a great agreement) and now if I want to be insured, I have to go through a lengthy appeals process that I'm sure will take months. The hassle and frustration is just not worth it. It seems like they're just in it for the money, and will gladly take money from anyone who doesn't go to the doctor or have any medical history whatsoever. But if your experience is anything like mine, if there's anything even neutral in your medical history, they will find it and blow it out of proportion. I get they need to be smart about risk but the way they went about it left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this company, but am willing to reconsider my opinion/update my review if they are willing to reconsider their decision.

The rates were lower than what I was currently paying, so I decided to make the switch. Liz was helpful, friendly, and even assisted me in canceling my existing policies. Unfortunately, about a week and a half later, Liz reached out to inform me that State Farm had decided they could not insure me as a renter--after she had already helped me cancel my prior renters policy. This left me completely uninsured, with no offer to help resolve the issue or find an alternative solution. While I appreciated Liz's initial professionalism, the experience with State Farm--and Adam's office overall--was disappointing and stressful. Saving a few dollars on car insurance wasn't worth the hassle, and I regret ever being contacted.

Issue is extreme black mold infestation, almost a year now, getting sicker every day. Went through all the hearing and post-hearing briefs with State of Illinois, Dept of Insurance(the new director is former exec with Allstate), been threaten and harassed by hearing officer, several instances of perjury on their behalf. They list my property with LexisNexis as catastrophic which calls for the above actions. Been in good standing with them over 50 years, one claim. Refuse to discuss the primary peril instead focusing on broken garage door which is neither an issue nor public health hazard as they claim. So, no compliance with policy, and also refused to renew based upon garage door. Sadly my dachsund succumbed to the toxicity, his last utterances were Yelp!

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! I have never been less satisfied with any business. We had a house fire a…read morefew months back. It was not a total loss, but it was also not in a liveable condition. Throughout the entire process, insurance has been very helpful and the contractors have been working hard to get us back into our house. This bank has been the biggest roadblock and has halted any progress to a complete stop. I have been told numerous times that the check that was written to myself and the bank needs to be put into a title company to deal out the payments at a $500 cost to me. I have been told multiple times that this doesn't happen in 99.5% of cases but is happening in our case despite only a shed and one exterior wall being burned in the fire. I have never missed a house payment and have great credit however the bank still would not back down. After fighting it, I eventually acquiesced to move the process along. THIS BANK SAT ON THE CHECK FOR A MONTH WITHOUT DOING A SINGLE THING. That's an extra month we have to go without being our house. That's an extra month of rent we have to pay at the new place. My girlfriend and I are both teachers. We do have done so much during the month of July while we were not at school to move things along. Instead this bank did absolutely nothing. It was only when my father contacted the bank on my behalf to ask about the progress that it was discovered nothing had been done since I took off work from my Summer job to proceed with the title company. All that we got was an acknowledgement that this bank was the one that dropped the ball. I have never felt less cared for as a customer. I hope nobody has to go through what we have been through with our house fire. However, if anyone does have this happen to them, I certainly hope they have a more helpful bank than Morton/Clocktower community Bank!! I would give zero stars if possible.

I won't go into a bunch of sorted details. But, Morton caught the error. The app didn't post a stop payment on my account and the teller cashed the check. I got a full refund and the bank ate the mistake. When I banked at cefcu, I told them I had blank checks stolen and to call the cops if anyone tried to cash them..cefcu not only cashed my stolen checks. But they wouldn't prosecute the thief, charged my savings account overdraft fees, and gave me a 100 reasons why they couldn't help me...Morton community banks caught the mistake and fixed it on their own...YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY TRUST THIS BANK !!!! They don't play games. They are ethical and truly customer oriented like a bank is supposed to be..

After my mother passed away I transferred her personal accounts into an estate account. A Premier…read morePlus checking account was set up which should have had the capability (and I was told it would) of mobile deposits and Quick Pay. I found out after trying to use both those functions that they would not work and when I called to find out what the problem was the banker (Melissa Paulson) that set up the account could not figure out why nor fix the problem. There was no effort to resolve the issue and it was a huge waste of time setting up the account that ultimately did not work. Melissa also would not return my messages when I requested to close the account. I ended up having to closing the account at another branch and I have taken my business to a better bank that has full functionality and no hassles. My experience with Chase overall, and this particular branch, was so frustrating. I will never consider Chase in the future for any of my own personal or business related banking need. It has been a huge stressor and cause of great inconvenience during a life event that is already stressful enough.

I was legally appointed to open the box, pursuant to Illinois law. The bank knew I was going to have to drive half way across the state to open the box. I brought the legal paperwork. I even brought a copy of the statute, all from the estate lawyer. The bank denied me access, refusing to comply with Illinois estate law, which clearly allows an executor to appoint someone else to assist. So, NEVER utilize this bank's safe deposit if you want your heirs to get access.
