I scheduled a dazzle dry mani/pedi with Lily several weeks ago, a few days ago I got a phone call that my appointment wouldn't be with Lily because she was out of the country. I was disappointed but kept my appointment. My appointment today was horrible. It took over 2 hours for my services to be complete. Typically it takes 1-1.5 hrs. The pedicure was mediocre, there was no foot rub just some oil slapped onto my legs, my big toes are digging into my skin and you can see through the polish. By the time we got to the manicure it was painfully slow. My nails were uneven and I was running out of time. The tech didn't even have me wash my hands, the prep for dazzle dry wasn't applied and at that point I nicely told her I no longer had time for polish. When I got to the counter I was basically pushed into having someone else paint my nails even though I made it clear I needed to be somewhere in 10 minutes. Someone else painted my nails but I didn't get any hand lotion or a hand massage which are typically steps in the manicure. I nicely let the receptionist know of my disappointment in services today. I was charged full price of $88 for a service that wasn't even complete. When I stated "it's really disappointing I'm being charged in full" I was told "sorry the boss makes that decision" Christina came over and couldn't have been less caring, didn't offer any type of compensation and just said "sorry." I'm not asking for a free service but some type of discount would have gone a long way. As a business owner when you show no sympathy for your loyal customers and the service they receive it's clear the only thing you care about is the money in your pocket. Now I'll be taking my business to one of the many other nail salons in town.

The spa is super clean and the beds are heated and comfy. The music is perfect and the environment is spot on. I found Deb at InBalance about a year and a half ago when my prior therapist moved away. I see her on average twice a month. Deb and she is amazing! She did a thorough intake assessment and now requests updates about my condition from my physical therapist. Her deep tissue work and passive stretching help me a great deal. The direct benefits of the massage last for at least 2 to 3 days, and provide much more relief than simple relaxation during the massage itself. She is professional and caring and very talented. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, massage therapist. Especially those looking for some thing a little "more" than a Swedish massage. (I'm sure she does a wonderful job at those, but I need some thing more than that. :-)

They called me at 9:00am on the Friday before, as someone who works second shift I found this time inconsiderate to call and verify my appointment. I listen to the voicemail and it says my appointment was at 4:00 pm with someone else so now I have no idea what time I'm actually supposed to be there. Since the voicemail said 4, I show up at 3:50 didn't get seen until 4:25pm. Most the time I'm pretty understanding but if you are running behind you could at least give me the courtesy of letting me know. I go to check out and my services cost $30 more than what I was expecting because they "forgot" to use the new client discount. I kindly reminded them of the discount before I paid. This place seems convenient because of location and hours but from my experience they are disorganized and have no idea how to book appointments. I won't be back.
