The stoned teenagers working there treat you like you are inconveniencing them by placing an order. They couldn't act any more uninterested in doing their jobs. I'm surprised anyone tips them. We've only been here once. We went at about 4:30 on a Friday and were the only ones there. It picked up a bit later, but our food did take a while considering there weren't others there. The place was SUPER clean and the staff were friendly. The salmon teriyaki bowl had a great char on the fish. The beef bulgogi was pretty good. i stopped in for the first time yesterday and ordered the chicken yakisoba and a spam musubi. i was really hungry so the spam musubi really hit the spot before i drove home to eat my yakisoba lol. the portion of yakisoba i got was huge- i was able to eat it for two meals. i ordered extra chicken. i think i only paid about $22 in total which was a great deal. the food was ready quickly after ordering. i would definitely eat here again! read more

Let me start this off by saying the food was OK in flavor, but the quantity of food that you get for how much you pay is not worth it. The service was slow, and if you were going to charge me this much for this amount of food, it is not worth it. For lunch special only rice and chicken, no veggies and nothing special to it. If you're looking for some good teriyaki go to Mashitas, and if you're looking for a good poke try Sherwood or The food carts in Beaverton. I love to support small Asian businesses but this was not it. The poke only looks this good because I kept asking for more of this and that because they would just give me a pinch of every topping. For $17 you can get two bowls add a better place. We only came to this location because it was convenient and wanted to try something new. Now we wish we went somewhere else. I got the spicy chicken and rice bowl and some miso soup. The miso soup had a deep flavor that warmed my insides. I got the chicken and rice bowl spicy and it was the perfect amount of spicy, there was a great chicken to rice ratio and it tasted awesome. I was greeted by a very nice girl with a smile which I feel like isn't very common anymore. The inside of the restaurant was very spacious and very clean, lots of seating and very tidy ordering area. You can add as many items as you want to the poke bowl, which is great. Very tasty food, fresh seafood, clean restaurant and friendly staff.

I don't expect service workers to love or even like their jobs. I don't expect to be smiled at. I do sort of hope though that I don't get treated like a major inconvenience before a single word has left my mouth. The kid working there acted annoyed with me from the second I walked through the door, and was a smart @$$ on top it. When he asked me what size I wanted, and got down a metal bowl, I told him that it was to go and asked what size the bowl was. He stared at me for a few seconds like I was brain-damaged then slowly said, "This is a mixing bowl." I then had to ask him what size was a small then, since he didn't seem willing to impart that information on his own. I spent many years working service/retail jobs, so I go out of my way to be friendly and low-maintenance, but I don't think there's anything I could've done with this kid to improve our interaction. Stopped by after noticing this place was going to start serving poke bowls. It's a build-your-own poke bowl place, but they also serve teriyaki plates and a few other items like gyoza, miso soup, katsu curry, etc. I got a medium sized poke bowl (12.99), and included 1/2 rice 1/2 greens, ahi tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, spicy ponzu sauce, and a bunch of other toppings. I was offered a complimentary bowl of miso soup with the poke. SUPER GOOD! Nice presentation and they didn't use a throwaway bowl while we ate there. We also got a chicken teriyaki lunch special ($8.25), which came with 3 fried gyoza and a small green salad. Also very good! It's a small place, they weren't super fast, but we weren't in a hurry, and they were friendly and gracious. Maybe they're faster on a weekday lunchtime? Doesn't matter, I'll be back for more. They are open on Sunday as well. Parking lot is kind of a cluster because they share w/ Five Guys and Chipotle and a kids haircut place and a dental office. Chose this place for reviews and because we fell in love with poke in Hawaii. came in a few mins before the place closed and the lady working there was so pleasant and accommodating, even gave us an extra snack as a closing gesture. This is my go to Poke spot when I'm craving it near the office. They really let you get a bit wild with the toppings so you can really specialize it for you own tastes. I usually go with the large or medium side with salmon and then add seaweed salad and spicy crabmeat. Really good sauces and fresh protein. Really this place is a free for all in the sense that each person is going to have a slight variation of what they order but it'll be consistently good everytime. I also liked their miso soup. The only bummer is the extreme use of plastic. I think if they know people are going to be dining in they can encourage people to use their bowls and utensils. read more

This was my first time and definitely not my last getting a poke bowl. All the ingredients I choose were high quality and delicious. I got a small and it was pretty filling. When picking your proteins I'd definitely recommend raw tuna, it was just too good. As for the service, I'd give a 6/5. The employee was more then patient as I asked many questions of what to choose. I have come here every couple weeks since they opened since the location is close to my work. The food is actually quite good. Better quality and flavor than some of the other similar joints in the area, although portions are maybe a little smaller. However, the experience has been deteriorating and is now at a point that I will avoid returning. The male owner is greedy and rude. The female owner is either rude or just unhappy - I haven't ever heard her respond to a "thank you" or "have a nice day" after the transaction. There is no apology if they forget your order, they just act frustrated and hand you your food. The other staff I have seen are always friendly but they don't work there for long - I presume it has to do with the owners' attitudes. They were not especially friendly even before the lockdowns. It is unfortunate the lockdowns probably added a lot of stress to the owners. But taking it out on the patrons is not going to help. read more

We ordered two poke bowls from this place and honestly I had high hopes because of all of the good reviews, but the bowls were just not that great. I think they are definitely overpriced for the amount of food you're getting, and they skimped on a lot of the toppings. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but I think it definitely could have been better.
