But Dr Sami completely disregards anyone who says they have a phobia of going to the dentist. He flies into the room, barely even saying hi. Tells my anxious husband how this extraction will be pretty much awful and that he should brace himself. My husband decides to get sedated instead. Dr Sani doesn't stay in the room to say "I hear you and I see your concern, of course we will do what is best for you"... he just dips out.... while the nurse is the one who talks to us about it!? When it was time for my husband to get a dental implant, he wanted to be sedated again. This was a simpler procedure, but since my husband has been given no indication that this doctor cares whatsoever about being gentle, he felt it was best to be sedated. But when he spoke up for himself, the doctor said "nah you don't need that" and scratched it off the list of services. We asked a nurse if they offer sedation for dental implants. She says they do and added it back on our list of demands. This doctor does NOT get to tell his patients what they need and don't need. There needs to be a calm and comforting conversation around that. If he hadn't been so aggressive in his behavior towards patients, I am sure my husband could have handled this without sedation. We finally cancelled his appointment because we are tired of handing money over to someone who shouldn't even be in the business. This dude needs serious training in manners and handling phobias, because there are plenty of people who have it. And he is one of those people who is making it WORSE. He is re-traumatizing people. The worst kind of dentist.

Dr. Hoang's work is low quality: She didn't take the time to polish off of the silver marks my old filling left behind before putting on the new tooth-colored filling and her scan of my teeth resulted in a bite guard so poor fitting another dentist was afraid to adjust it because he thought it needed so much adjusting that it would break. Lastly, I had to see another dentist to adjust the filling because Dr. Hoang left the filling too high and without a proper bite adjustment. However, the most massive issue with Dr. Hoang is that I did not consent to any dental work without nitrous and she proceeded anyways including not one, not two but three numbing injections and the majority of the filling work without nitrous. The front desk staff, assistant and hygienists (sorry I don't know the difference) could not have been any kinder and more understanding of the situation. I am grateful for them.

May 27th comes along and I realize I've received no communication about my appointment on the 28th. I text them to find out they canceled my appointment. I NEVER told them to cancel my appointment. They wanted my full medical history of which in complied to do using a computer program on an iPad. After going through at least 15 screens answering a multitude of questions would not let me submit. I asked if I could just fill out a paper copy as the time was already past the appointment time. I was told no by the office assistant that the information had to be added into the computer. The office assistant then helped me by inputing the information herself and it still did not allow her to submit. She continued with me for another 40 minutes trying to get it to submit insisting they needed the information this way. I am very senior and exhausted and I wasn't sure if the computer even took the input. I saw the dentist briefly. I told her the problem with my teeth and she wanted photographic pictures. A dental assistant took another 45 minutes trying to get these pictures. By this time, the office visit turned into 2 hours. I was so exhausted by this, that I left the office never wanting to return because the staff appeared incompetent. They wanted me to come back for teeth/bite impressions. Never did I get a cost for this or a plan as to what could be done. Further to this, I never officially received a recommendation and at end of April I left a voicemail but never got a return call.
