I had an awful experience at Joyce's. All I wanted to do was support a local business and I was treated literally like I didn't exist. I had a windbreaker that I wanted some letters on it. The person I dealt with was Cathy. She told me it would be three weeks, which I said would be fine. Three weeks later, no call mind you, I went to the store and was told by Cathy that it wasn't ready as she was busy and that it would be ready in one more week. I went in the next week, no call mind you, and was told Cathy called in sick and that I should come back two days later when she worked again. We're at four weeks now for a maybe 2 hour job. I came back two days later and was told by Cathy, surprise, it wasn't ready because she had...PNEUMONIA! and that it would be ready by next Thursday (5 weeks). I go back and was told, no call of course, that her machine was now broken. They obviously didn't need my money. At no time was a, "sorry for any inconvenience" offered, just the run around. Avoid this shop for repairs. The turn around quote was for three days, instead it was six weeks. (NOT due to a more complicated repair - this was just because they were 'overwhelmed'.) The original problem with my machine is still present and I have a host of new quirks to deal with. I had also called and asked this shop not to bother with the repair - I would just pick up the machine - due to the long delay and they went ahead and 'repaired' it anyway. I would absolutely avoid this shop in the future. They were terrible! read more
