The bid he provided was very reasonable, and he didn't bill a cent extra, despite doing extra work. Joe obtained all the necessary city permits, coordinated all the sub-contractors (all reputable local companies; electrical, glass, plumbing, flooring, etc.); every day there was clear progress. He even saved us money by suggesting better solutions to a problem we had (our Jack and Jill bathroom had two opposing doors swinging inward, making it hard to move around in the bathroom. We asked him about pocket doors and he saved us thousands with the simple suggestion that he reverse the doors and hang them to swing outwards instead of in).
