We provided our credit card information to secure our date and they were able to charge it as needed. We had to dig through our bank statements to ensure they didn't charge us because we assumed they had. I'm honestly not sure why they didn't, as we expected this to be done like other vendors we've worked with. There was no mention of wildfires or other concerns in their email communication other than choosing to drive to PDX. It was simply about riots downtown (3-block radius) which is a 30 min drive from our wedding location. We're all human and we understand fear-based decision making. What I don't get is the lack of desire to care for customers in challenging times. Having everything documents via email is important, but so is the person. Please pick up the phone and call a customer in addition to sending an email when you're making difficult decisions in the 11th hour. I'd also suggest making decisions earlier leaving ample time for your customers to plan. This is already a challenging time and you in-fact made it worst by backing out last minute. And while I can empathize with you and your feeling the need for more safety, I would hope that you would also consider your customer in that equation as well. These riots have been going on for more 100 days... plenty of time to make fair adjustments or share those concerns earlier to so we can understand more where you're coming from. Communication is key here. It's easy to earn a 5-star review when things are easy, but when things get tough, it's how you care for your customers that matters. The staff were extremely friendly and the entire group loved the photo booth! The attendant at the booth was extremely patient with all of our attendees and was friendly the entire time. Best photo booth ever!! Leslie is super easy to work with and has some great creative ideas. We did the green screen for our wedding in March and they came up with some awesome backgrounds and overlays. The photo booth attendants were so much fun and they provided great props. I work at a law firm that has the perfect building for special events and we have worked with Joy Squad on four separate occasions. The first time I met Leslie and Joy Squad was at a friend's wedding last year that was held at our firm. After seeing their work, I wanted them at our firm's upcoming annual party. We hired Joy Squad or our Vegas wedding at The Platinum Hotel. Leslie was amazing from the start. Her response time was extremely fast and always professional. Joy Squad designed an amazing border print that featured the Las Vegas skyline with our wedding colors. It made for the perfect souvenir for our out of town guest. Our wedding was held on the pool deck that overlooked the strip. Joy Squad positioned the booth so that every picture had the Vegas strip lights in the background. I swear people spend more time in these photo booths then they do anything else. Anyhow when throwing a party in vegas I normally go with the same people to rent from however for reasons I wont go into they bailed and I found Joy Squad. It is safe to say I will be sticking with these guys from now on. They helped me out at the last minute and were amazing. They sent Leslie and this other guy, who's name I cant remember but they were both really professional. They were set up right away and had an awesome camera booth. Sometimes you get some guy with a web cam in a box but their photos came out great. PROFESSIONAL. They not only put them online for everyone but the booth also printed them out and people got a hard copy. There was always people getting back in line again and again.
