When you leave their dock its only minutes to go to the Boldt Castle, docking there is free and simple. Its about 30 min by pontoon to get to the Singer Castle also free docking and easy. Be sure to rent an extra day if you want to stay out past 5PM! It's easy to lose track of time on the water when there is so much to do! There is a gas dock not far at a state park that was easy to dock. So all of that to tell you that renting from this location is just perfect!

I can't even begin to count. "Aqua Mania", hands down was absolutely one of the best places we have ever rented a pontoon boat from. Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their pontoon boats seemed like they were brand new and really in great working order. Our boat would fit 12 people ( but who wants that) They took the time out to make sure we were completely comfortable on the boat, plus gave us some great tips about where we could go on the river for what we wanted to do. We wanted to do some fishing, swimming plus site see. Nothing is better than being able to control what you want to do on the river for the day. We had a fantastic time!

Late arrival for check in and trying to find your way around a target confusing maze of roads made more so by the mounds of snow everywhere. The separate building closer to the water has no signs indicating what entrance, and the for sticks so much we thought it was locked which had us wondering around trying all the other doors in the blizzard weather. You go into a building to leave the building for the courtyard area, which wasn't shoveled so we had to do so ourselves least the wall of snow fall into the room when the door was opened. Our heater made terrible noises that interrupted the sleep cycle so badly we left a day early, while still paying for all the days we reserved of course. Very much an older place with not a lot of upgrades, jacuzzi tub was nice and honestly the only reason the room was worth the price as the beds weren't very comfortable and made noises when you moved. Overall it will keep you dry and warm but so will anywhere else you pay to sleep. Next time I'll pay the little extra to stay in Clayton where there's actual places open and the hotel looked much nicer while not having to trek uphill to get to your room, hoping you don't have to climb stairs once you're there! Pros: hot water (so long as everyone else isn't showing at the same time), jacuzzi tub option, pretty view from courtyard Cons: noisy heater, noisy uncomfortable bed, weird layouts, confusing driveways, not a lot of upgrades, cold breakfast in a depressing little room, laid back customer service means you might be standing at the counter listening to people in a room you can't see talking while you wait to be noticed. Also be sure you check the door lock, our luck faced sideways when engaged which is the opposite of what I'm use to so we locked ourselves out of the room a few times.

Tim and his staff are so accommodating, friendly and helpful. We camp at Wellesley Island State Park and rent a slip so the pontoon in nearby and we take it everywhere; Clayton, Alexandria Bay, TI Park, Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. It makes for such a great vacation. The ease of renting from Wagoner's makes it so simple.

It was pleasant to watch the "small" boats coming in and out of the harbor while hanging on the deck. Nearly all of them were respectfully quiet and waited to turn on their speakers till they were a distance away. Even more fun was watching the freighters go by on the river. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The view from the small section along the shore was stunning, with sunset views of Boldt Castle. The pool was clean, fire-pits were well stocked, and there were plenty of sturdy outdoor seating areas. I am not sure if Nick is the owner or manager, but he answered all of my pre-trip questions quickly and accommodatingly. In person, he was friendly and helpful. There were several thoughtful touches in the house. For example, a lovely cart to help transport our luggage from our car. After rearranging the furniture a bit, we had enough space to be perfectly comfortable. I was so close to deciding on five stars (especially to balance out the low ratings here...which I have a hard time understanding). However, a few things: The windows of our bedroom were filthy with bird poop (I imagine they are very tricky to clean and can only be done occasionally). The doors, floors, and table tops were sticky (from cleaning products, maybe?). The road has a dangerous, curving blind hill. I'm not sure anything could be done about it, but it is important to be aware of it when approaching. Out of the control of the owners and managers is the attitude of the neighbors. They appear to believe that it is acceptable to blare music from early morning till late at night in an attempt to keep the geese off of their yard. The ridiculous volume and the flood light shining at The Ledges were shockingly rude, but not the fault of The Ledges. Overall, I'm grateful for an absolutely beautiful spot to enjoy a lovely long weekend with our friends, and would likely go back. Thank you Nick and the rest of the staff!

Had to pay for the propeller for repair which was expected. Stuck on river for 2 hours and after our boat was fixed on the river, we had to tow the work boat back that also hit shale and broke down. Got $50 off the daily rate because boat was dropped off half hour late but only had 2 hrs on the prior to breaking down. experience no thanks to the terrible old geezer of a boat and zero training or guidance. Do something me and my family didnt do. Read these reviews, they dont lie. Gave them a 2nd star because of the $50 I got back. Still cost $500.

They examined it quickly to determine if parts needed to be ordered. In going through the checklist the mechanic discovered an improperly attached fuel injector....something 'accomplished' by the other shop. Got it back in one day! It is a 2 hour drive but we'll worth it for their service. And it runs better than ever.​

A Clayton marina wouldn't even take the time to look at it, & that has happened to us in the past. But Chalks did & replaced a solenoid quickly so they were back on the water. The lack of service by the Clayton marina cost them a potential jet ski sale because none of our family will ever go back there.
