I have never written a negative Yelp review in the over 10 years I've used it to find needed services. Earlier this year my parents, who are elderly, hired Bass's Landscaping Lawncare to build 2 raised planter beds. They agreed to have dry stacked cinder blocks reinforced with steel rods and the hollow chambers filled with sand at a cost of $775. The owner said their work is "guaranteed. " The work was completed on 05/14/2020. By September, 4 months after the planter beds were built, the walls started failing and buldging out on one side. In October my mother called twice and left messages requesting someone inspect and repair the problem. She received a return call from the owner who said he would send someone out. My mother requested the worker knock on her door so she knew when they arrived. Nobody ever came out, my parents never received any return phone calls, and the problem still exists. My father called Bass's the 2nd week of November and I called again on 11/29/2020. Both times we left messages on voice-mail. We still have not received a return call as of the writing of this review. Future potential customers beware. If Bass's Landscaping Lawncare performs a service which needs a follow-up repair, you may have great difficulty getting them to repair the work they "guarantee. "

They sprayed herbicide for weed control on a windy day this spring and oversprayed several shrubs. 2 died within a week, several others showed signs of stress and die back. They were asked if they would stand behind their work. The owner denied they had oversprayed herbicide, refused to replace the dead shrubs, threatened to quit, was rude and then drove off before the other customer arrived for our meeting. Last year they charged an exorbitant amount to mulch a few shrubs and prune 6 roses. There are plenty of other landscapers out there that aren't rude and don't stand up their customers.
