I have been going to this place all my life, and it is hands down the best Thai place I've ever gone to. the food is fantastic my dad owns one of their custom t shirts. It is a lovley family run bussnnis with great food and amazing service. Whoever writes bad reviews about this place can suck a dih and go back to mcdonalds where the flavor actually fits their unflavord tastbuds. I've been going here for over twenty years. I typically go once a month (sometimes more) even though it's a 35-40 minute drive from my house (in SE Aurora). I've tried well over half the menu and have *loved* almost everything. We detoured here after seeing that Happy Cafe was closed. The customer service was absolutely great. The lady was very attentive to our table's needs and had exchanges of pleasantries. The food, however, was lacking. Their Chicken Satay was very good, though. My sister and I shared a cup of Tom Yum to try and the flavor was just sour and nothing else. I couldn't taste the lemongrass or any other flavors. We got the Pad Se Ew, a favorite, but all we could taste was the smokiness---none of the vegetables nor the meat. My sister and I also shared yellow curry. The curry base was delicious, but the meat (beef) was overcooked and tough. All I could taste from the papaya salad was the fish sauce. We got takeout. I placed the order. We all ordered medium but it was still super hot. My husband and I spent several weeks in Thailand years ago and we rarely had food we couldn't tolerate. I actually like hot & spicy food, but J's was way too hot for "medium". It interfered with our enjoyment of the food. When you get takeout you're kind of stuck with what you get. Pad Thai noodles were soo surprisingly thing , it was like angel hair pasta . First time ever had such thin noodles . Could really feel and taste the quality . We did garlic pepper entire with beef and nothing was left on the plate . All the dishes we had were delicious. Service was extremely kind and friendly. Stumbled into a new favorite. The papaya salad here is one of the best I've ever had. So fresh and limey. The drunken noodles were nice and charred in a way I've never had but would like to have again, really elevated the flavor profile. The ginger and garlic entree is exactly what I pictured when I read the description, covered in the perfect delicate ginger sauce. We loved the Jungle curry and how light it was in comparison with other curries we've had at Thai restaurants. The staff here is so wonderful and the inside is so intimate, only around 6-8 tables inside. Would definitely return for more of all the dishes we tried today! read more

I'm guessing the owners were the ones cooking and serving--a two-person team running the whole show with heart, hustle, and genuine hospitality. Our group of 11 took over most of the restaurant and probably ordered half the menu. The five tables that came in after us seemed to be regulars and waited patiently. While the owners apologized for the delay caused by our massive order, the regulars were genuinely happy to see the place busy. That kind of loyalty says everything. The curries are solid, but I'd steer you toward the noodle dishes--especially the Pad Thai "country style." I know what you're thinking: another person recommending the most ubiquitous Thai dish on the planet. But this one is different. We stopped here for dinner on a whim and it did not dissapoint. It's a true mom & pop operation with one cooking in the back and the other owner (I presume) handling the tables. The service was warm and friendly and they seem to have a lot of regulars for dine in and take out. We had the dumplings, crab cheese wontons, yellow curry and prik pow noodles all of which were delicious. The noodles had that great smoky taste from the wok and the curry had a deep, rich flavor and a nice thickness that you don't find at a lot of places. I enjoyed the pot of jasmine tea, too. Don't go in expecting quick service.... I've never been here so I was excited to try something new! We arrived around 530PM on a Sunday. Only two other tables were filled with people. One host/waitress and one cook. Very small dinning area but cozy. It took a while for the waitress to come to us but once she did we all knew what we wanted to order. We got crab cheese wontons for the table, two drinks, and three entrees. It took one hour just to get our cheese wontons..... It looked like they only serve one table at a time... not every organized or efficient if you ask me. The wontons were delicious though! Another 30mins went by and the entrees came out. I got the Pad Se Eyw (Thick noodles stir fired with broccoli and egg and my choice of meet (beef)). I thought he portion size was a little on the small side. I've had the Pad Se Eyw before at another location and it was the same price for a larger portion size. The flavor was good. The temperature of the food was good. The timing of everything was not the best. If they were a little quicker I would defiantly consider going back sometime soon. My advise, plan ahead before coming here. Love the addition of Napa cabbage! PAPAYA SALAD is nothing to write home about - your standard shredded papaya and carrots. PAD SEE EW noodles are delicious and flavorful and a bomb of umami. PAD THAI WOON SEN is the knockout of the pack - do not fail to order this. THAI FRIED RICE is perfection - flavored well and I would in the top ten of Thai dishes I've tried in Denver area. My #1 Thai place in Denver for the past 30 years, nicely hidden away in a strip mall in a tiny unassuming space. Everything I've ever had here has been stellar (pardon the pun), especially the Tom Yum and Tom Kha. Don't miss the Pad Prig Pow and its smoky deliciousness, either. Our go-to is their pad see eyw and pineapple fried rice: the noodles have such a satisfying, bouncy texture and you really taste the wok's flames with every bite (Uncle Roger would be impressed!). Not to say everything is charred, but you can absolutely tell everything is cooked on a flame. Grab yourself a cup of tom yum soup and the three flavor fish to pair with your entree and you got a family meal that hits all of your taste buds. It's a rare Thai experience that almost gives off street food vibes as opposed to a fancy dine-in spot. Lots of Thai restaurants out there dress up their dishes too much "for the 'gram," but these guys know what they're all about. Everything is served like you're at home, and you can't help but feel a sense of comfort. As a mom-and-pop shop, service will not be the fastest. At times, you will even see their children at the corner table. However you can do street parking as well. I usually get medium spice level but its stills not spicy enough for the pad thai. Classic location in a strip mall, terrifying parking lot (you'll get it when you go), and a very nondescript unit that is very easy to miss. The restaurant only has six or seven tables so be prepared to wait on busy nights. Our staples are the three flavor fish and country pad Thai, both fantastic!
