These are the guys to call when you have trees over structures or you have minimal access to the tree. Other companies will bring in huge equipment and they have to take out other trees and fences then they destroy your yard. Juan and his son use the right sized equipment to get the job done without destroying your yard and they are experts at safely and carefully removing precarious limbs and trees. Now, all that being said, they are not cheap. Between the 3 jobs I know of, the price is about $1000 per hour of work, no joke , but they have a huge all English speaking crew so there is no failure in communication and they have tons of expensive equipment that lines up hundreds of feet down the road when they come. My last job took just short of 3 hours and was just shy of $3000, the previous was 10 hours and was just short of $10,000 and first time we used him it was just over 2 and a half hours of work for about $2800. So when they are done working they rake up the yard and blow everything off nicely and they are very skilled and fast due to the huge crew that comes. My neighbor got a quote from Juan to remove a large oak tree out by the road which was over $6000 and he decided to go with another company that spoke little to no English and had no names or numbers on their trucks and had it done for $2000, they didn't lower anything slowly I could feel the earth shaking every time they dropped a limb from over 700 ft away. I asked him for the guys number because I have some empty property I need work done on and he said he tried calling the number they gave him and it was an out of service number ! So if something had gone wrong and those guys took off , there would be no way to contact them and this time it was ok for a tree that wasn't near anything that could be harmed or damaged since it was less than a third of the price that Juan quoted but it isn't worth the risk of having your house destroyed or something else if the tree was near a structure . Juan is a tough guy to bargain with and he isn't going to do any more than he shows you so pay attention very closely during your conversation and know what you are agreeing to. I feel that he sticks really closely to his $1000 per hour pricing in my experiences with him. In summary, they are expensive but worth it on jobs when you absolutely need the real experts to do it safely and precisely. read more

My neighbors were very impressed with the Juan Sanchez Platoon rolling up onto on our block with four trucks and trailers including heavy equipment such as an Nifty SD50 boom lift, a Bandit wood chipper, a Kubota claw grapple and a Rayco RG27 stump grinder. Juan, his sons, daughter, and team would be very happy to meet and talk with you and educate your tenants, but you can also trust them to handle everything remotely via text messages. They were especially careful with my property, working skillfully around the fence, landscape lighting, irrigation system, pool cage, and outdoor furniture / sound system which were in close proximity to the trees being worked on. As I can see on my Ring camera feed, they work together seamlessly and look out for each other's safety. As an internationally certified arborist, Juan instantly recognized the various species of trees around my house and provided me definitive guidance on the county's regulations. We had tree trimming last year and tree removal (post-hurricane) this year. I most highly recommend Arborist Juan Sanchez, his son and their large crew to trim or take out trees in your yard. They are experts! Last month we had our 20 year old oak tree trimmed for hurricane season and we also had them take out our large palm tree that had insect infestation. They came with a large crew , a chipper and another truck to haul away the large limbs... They are very safety minded and ensure limbs will not fall near a neighbors yard, or your roof etc... We needed 2 large dead pine trees removed. Plus we needed some tree trimming done above the dropline that brings electricity into our house . The guys that did the work were fantastic. They got the job done very quickly. They used appropriately sized equipment so that they caused no harm to the yard or anything near where they were working. They cleaned up any debris. Juan Sanchez Sr. came out to give us a quote on trimming back overgrown Oak and Camphor trees along our back fence line that dropped tons of leaves into our yard and unscreened swimming pool and blocked the sun from allowing grass to grow under them. As always, he very carefully and strategically developed a plan with us that would make us happy for several years while also preserving the health of both trees. He showed up when promised, our foreman Juan Jr. and crew worked like a well oiled machine constantly communicating/directing, cleaning up as they went, and being ultra cautious about not demanding our new vinyl fence or our lawn and shrubs. The brother Andy also ground out 5 bamboo root clusters, cleared all the debris, and left the area level and clean. He was a very cheerful man who really seemed to enjoy his work. The clean up after all the work was impressive and we had zero ruts in our lawn. They also trimmed one Oak at my sons house for us and blew off the roof valleys as a courtesy. I had a couple of trees that needed some TLC due to their growing into my house and my neighbor's yards. My normal tree guy did not respond so I opened the quote to other agencies. The trick to a good price on getting your trees trimmed is to catch a guy that has work already scheduled in your neighborhood, that way you save on their need to turn more profit by actually sending a crew in a neighborhood and turning down other jobs. Anyway I met Juan, he is a great down to earth guy who consults the customer on what you need instead of trying to sell you something for the sake of selling you something. I was able to negotiate a rate that was about half of what the others charged because of the fact he was already working in the neighborhood. When they came by to do the work they were on time and it was kind of funny because he forgot his pole saw for my palm trees, normally other companies would have left that for a second trip when they came back with the equipment, Juan climbed the trees and trimmed the tree with a hand saw. That showed me a lot about integrity. Also if you need stumps ground down he does have his own stump grinder as well. Juan is now my new tree guy, if I need to wait for a good rate from him that is okay because of his work ethic. read more

Do not use this guy he is a ripoff,he charged my mother $700 dollars to cut 2 branches. After the job I spoke with him why he hadn't cut what we had discussed and was in agreement that he should have done more. He agreed he should have cut more but that the price he quoted me was the work he performed. He also said that for an extra $ 500 dollars he would come back out and finish the job. I have used Juan Sanchez Tree Service for about 6 years. It still amazes me how Juan doesn't just hack at branches. He uses a chain saw like a surgeons scalpel. The tree always looks clean and healthy, also well balanced. The other great part is his crew. Every man is friendly and courteous.
