I cannot speak on whether these comments reflect any management awareness, but as a patient, it made the environment extremely uncomfortable to hear what I understood and perceived as carelessly ignorant. Living in California for a long time, these were not words I expected to hear and very inappropriate for the workplace let alone a "professional" clinic. The rest of my experience here has been great; amazing doctors and aides who have persistently helped me through my slough of issues, which makes this all the more unfortunate. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage a refresher of basic empathy, inclusiveness, and client-sided professionalism.

Jennifer worked with me very closely, taking the time to figure out why I didn't like the glasses and what wasn't working so that she could satisfy me. She answered all the questions I had and helped me find the right frames that would work with my prescription. So despite living 1 hour away from his office, I booked a separate in person meeting just to ask questions, and every question I asked was met with either arrogance, or a defensive tone. Even with simple questions like "when should I come to see you next considering my condition?" -- he could not respond without some level of drama. Maybe he was having a bad day, but still, I have never had a doctor treat me the way he did that day.
