Without that, some of their prices were a little steep (for my thrifty heart) but most were spot-on with the area and other typical thrift stores. Best find of the trip for me: several hard-to-find, small-run, independent-publisher books by my favorite authors. Best find of the trip for my husband: the $4 he spent on $650-worth of camera filters and holders. We spent an hour and a half there and I only managed to get through the books and the glassware, he went through the cases up-front and the music.

Warehouse 479 is the upscale and trendy boutique that is the higher end of what you'll find in the…read morethrift store. It has separate hours and is accessed inside the Samaritan Store. It's a bit chaotic and perhaps a little disorganized but they have a constantly updated inventory of tshirts, tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses and home goods. These are items that are generally not available in the Samaritan Shop. It was a pleasant experience. The staff we encountered were especially helpful and unlike the regular thrift store, some of their merchandise is available online and can be set aside. Warehouse 479 is definitely worth a visit.
