This was their second chance with me. I first ate food from there in 2009 or something. I did not…read moreenjoy it. Ordering online was very easy. One can also pay directly from their account. There is a delivery fee. This was unusual, since most places have free delivery. We stuck to the Chinese food menu because if we wanted Thai we would order from a Thai place. I don't like the concept of mixwd cuisines when it isn't fission. This time around, the food was very good. The Boss with pork was a pleasant surprise. It was lo mein with a nice flavour. The kung pao chicken was nice with cashews. I am not sure it had peppercorn or chili peppers. No prob, it wasn't spicey. The sauce was good. The chicken fried rice was ok. Not so much flavour, it was yellow, and it did not seem fried. The sweet and sour chicken was good, the sauce seemed a bit runny. The fried chicken and fried shrimp were good. The serving size if the individual containers was good and fair priced. The meal was s bit overpriced for the amount of food. Overall, it was above average for Helsinki. We would order from there again.

Chinaman delivery.
Menu. Choose rice/noodle then meat and seasoning. Only 7,90 if you self-order using the machine.
Had Malaysian (sweet curry) and Kwa Thai (amazing flavour using lemongrass, paprika, chilli and probably soy sauce)

Upon arrival, I noticed that that there were a lot of other single diners who had been placed at the same table. So imagine a table full of people, but no one is talking. Weird. Anyway, the waitress was so nice and sweet! She greeted me in Finnish, but then switched to English when she saw the blank stare on my face. I ordered the combo plate which in California would normally cost about $5 cost the equivalent of $16!!! Crazy, right?! Such was life in Helsinki, super expensive! Anyway, my meal included small, but tasty, portions of sweet an sour chicken, fried prawns, beef and curry chicken. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! I had a pleasant experience, I would highly recommend it.
Before ordering I was asked what I would like to drink. I replied, "Nothing. I don't want anything…read moreto drink." I was then promptly poured a glass of water which I was charged for. These dishonest surprise charges are unacceptable and completely ridiculous. Customers should not be forced to purchase tap water if they do not want to! This is a trashy and dishonest way to conduct business. New Bamboo Center, you can do better. Helsinki, you must demand better. In slightly related news, I was forced to pay for my take-away box, but only if I didn't want to carry my leftovers home in my pocket, so I guess that extra charge was ultimately my choice.

I had ordered the Kung Pao chicken and I was ashamed because I kept eating more from my wifes dish because it was just so damn good! I really do recommend eating here, the food is very tasty and made clearly by a great chef. I'm hard pressed to give this 4 or 5 stars, but the dish was just so perfect I have to go with 5.

This was a happy surprise during our long journey in Europe!…read more It is near end of August, and Helsinki is already at chilling 10 degree C at night (I know it's not cold for the locals, but for people from Taiwan and California, it is already cold!) My family was very tired after 2 weeks of traveling in Europe, and we are staying at the very nice apartment hotel Aallonkoti, about 2 minutes away from the restaurant. My mother missed Asian cooking very much, so I decided to give this Chinese restaurant a try when I walked by. The restaurant seems to serve buffet as a dining-in option, but I went for the a la carte option anyways, because that's how Chinese people like to order :p I ordered stir fried green leafy veggies (not the mixed ones), a tofu dish, veggie fried noodles, chicken & corn soup, and lemon chicken with the waitress' recommendation. They came out all very delicious!! The seasoning was just right, not too salty. The veggies were fresh and had a good balance of crisp and moist. And the lemon chicken was super delish!!! The veggie portion in the noodle dish was very generous! Rice was good. Overall, we were all very happy! Despite that we still tried to eat some local Finnish food everyday, we actually ate one meal everyday from here during our stay in Helsinki! Haha XD The waitresses were very friendly. They even offered me hot tea while I waited for my take out order. If you happen to stay around the area and crave for some authentic Chinese dishes, try this place and go for the a la carte :)
