If I lived within walking distance from the West Side Market then I would probably visit the market 3 times a week. While I'm only about 10 minutes away, I don't come here often. Recently, after brunch one Saturday in early December 2023, I stopped by the market and visited the JUICE GARDEN with a friend plus a few new friends DRINKS and JUICES -- During my first visit to the Juice Garden on Saturday, 9 December 2023, I bought a big bottle of cold Apple Cider which sits below the main stand/counter where all the lemonades are. It was $8 and very sweet yet refreshing. Then, on Wednesday, 20 December 2023, I quickly drove down to the market for a mid-afternoon break. I then bought a cup of freshly squeezed juice. I bought a 16-oz juice (Carrot, Orange, and Ginger) which cost $6.50 plus 50 cents if you pay with a debit/credit card so my total was $7.00. It tasted fresh for sure but it didn't have alot of ginger flavour in it even after I asked for the drink to be made with a little more ginger. Prices are very fair. I wasn't told about the 50 cents extra charge for not paying with cash and I only found out after getting home and looking at my receipt. That's okay though because I was rushing as I paid and I didn't pay attention to the price. I recommend the Juice Garden if you're in the area. Wrong time on the store here. I went in at 4:45 and told it wasn't closed until 5pm. The lady refused me juice or a smoothie but was rude and only wanted to give me lemonade which I cannot drink. . Perhaps they don't need the money so they closed when I approached the counter because they don't "feel" like working anymore as they tell me they close at 5pm. Perhaps more places need to actually clean up when they are closed rather than when customers are expecting service because they are actually telling you they close at 5, but you're standing there at 4:45. Does it take 30 minutes to make a smoothie ? If I was the owner, I'd be angry my service was cut off before before my actual closing time. Sales lost closes stores. read more

What not to get: Contradicted by Rosemary about how your garden grows. So inside the West Side Market is this cute little store serving really great healthy juices. They are expensive but then so is your sister. I highly recommend giving them a try if you like healthy juice. It wasn't the tastiest I've ever had but I really appreciated some of their Lemonades in particular, especially the one they recommended. However, I went off on my own and tried the blackberry thinking it would be awesome because I love blackberries, and it was really, really unimpressive. For the lemonade samples alone, I give 5 Stars along with the excellent service and the concept of giving free samples and whatnot. However, the Blackberry lemonade was about a 2 and the high priuces are a 3. The lemonade stand girls were lovely and the regular was good and the Cherry Berry was good but the Blackberry that I bought was pretty tasteless. I finally made it to WSM on a day when Juice Garden was actually open, and I am SO HAPPY that I finally got to try it. Fresh, healthy, and interesting blends of the finest local ingredients to create a delicious concoction you're probably too scared to try at home. I'll be honest and say I don't remember what Juice I purchased, but I had the one with beets, pineapple, ginger, lemon, and something else. I've never had beets before but I'm glad I tried it! It helped me channel my inner Dwight and the rest of my day was spent getting into mischief and telling elaborate stories ;) Seriously, give this place a try! I go to the West Side Market about once a week. Usually, when I go I like to try one thing that I have not yet. I have to say I am not a huge juice fan, but on a whim one day I decided to try the juice and I loved it. Since trying this I always go and get a juice and I drink it as I walk around the market. This drink always fills me up. My favorite is the rising sun, which is a mixture of pineapple, carrot, apple, and orange. I would note that the market can get pretty busy so it is a little harder to stop by stands. So, the earlier you can get to the market the better. I freaken LOVE this place, best smoothies EVER!!! I don't even get to my exit before 3/4ths of my smoothie is gone!!! One time I bought a quart and that didn't even make it home LOL!!!! freshly juiced right before your eyes. its about $4 for a juice which is a bit pricey, but just think about how much it costs for your starbucks drink. much more healthy. since they do juice it right in front of you, you may have to wait a bit. they have a few juices that you can order straight up, i got the one with beets i forgot the name but it was good it had beets, carrot, celery, cilantro and apples. you can also build your own juice and just tell them what you want in it. they offer shots of wheat grass and also ginger + wheat grass in 1 and 2 oz servings they are located right next to steve's gyros. so while you're waiting in that epic line you can grab a freshly squeezed juice to sip. and right behind you is the popcorn stand where you can grab a few samples. i think one area of improvement is that they could add ice into their juices. just being refrigerated the fruits and veggies aren't cold enough for the juice to be as refreshing as it could be. also a plus is that they take credit cards!! many places in westside market are cash only. save your cash! use plastic! :) read more

During my first trip to West Side Market, I thought I was in heaven. It turns out I completely missed this hidden gem. It's in the back near the gyro place that always has a ridiculously long line. I'm surprised this place isn't busier because for the type of food they're serving, the freshness, and the prices, the line should be out the door! At first you might think a $5 med cup of juice ($7 for a quart) is pricey, but if you consider this is fresh juice, non-blended, then you'll realize it's a STEAL! They also have great smoothies. My only suggestion is, like their smoothies, they should have a make your own juice option also. Currently, there fresh juice menu is somewhat limited. But, since they're local, I'm almost certain they are willing to accommodate if you have a specific juice preference. I plan on asking if I can create my own juice recipe the next time I visit....will update ya'll. read more
