Extremely cool and laid back spot with the obvious healthy food options, it's the first time I've eaten breakfast at a place that didn't constitute of at least eggs. It was my first time trying an Açaí bowl because I love açaí berry and it was very refreshing and light. I got my bowl with extra strawberries because I don't like bananas and added almond butter since I don't like coconut flakes. I also ordered the Golden Milk coffee which as turmeric and almond milk and it was the most distinct flavor of coffee I have yet. I love the healthy options this place has to offer. I've had great service at every visit and everything I've tried is always delicious! Most recently I've tried their Golden Milk Coffee and it's to die for!!! Their Smash Toast was pretty filling the way it comes. It's a very nice-looking place and their juice selection is great! They are very friendly but the service is slow. The main disappoint are their poke bowls. Those are basically salads with slightly cooked fish. Poke is a diced raw fish but here they serve it cooked. We tried Cali bowls with extra tuna and a crab ball (which is basically a scoop of cream cheese with a little imitation crab specks). If you want a real poke with raw fish this is not a place to go. read more

Fist time checking the place and found a HAIR in my poke bowl. It was my first time checking out the place because my friends rave about the poke bowls, so I wanted to try it. Sadly I could even finished my bowl neither my partner because we were disgusted. When I went to complain about it the employee did not show any empathy or action to address this issue with the manager. Probably because the employee was involved with this since they don't wear hairnets when they prepare the food, they probably care about how they hair looks then preparing the food. read more

I used to frequent the place once a week and always pick up a 6 pack of juices, an acai bowl and a detox lentil soup.. the last time I went . The lentil soup was way too salty to eat. The acai bowl was missing coconut. The juices tasted like they were old.. it wasn't like it was just one part of my order was wrong.. it was all wrong.. I dont know what to say. Maybe dont go on mondays? Maybe the juice isn't so fresh then? But the worst part of it is that they didn't even offer to make up for their mistakes.. the lady in charge was just like.. we will check on it. And that was it. This is my go-to smoothie and juice shop in Brownsville. It's so pretty and it's in the trendiest area in town. Lofty. Chill. Delicious and healthy fresh nutrients!!! When they opened a few years back, they had exceeded my expectations as a business and the quality of their products. They set a high standard for themselves since the beginning. No other place did it like y'all. BUT- I will say as of lately the drive thru has been off. And by that I mean I've had many instances where drive thru taste bad compared to when you get it inside of the restaurant. I love this place a lot and I appreciate this place for what it is in general. But I would just love it if drive through did better. I believe this happens to businesses with a drive thru... they get pressured or something because of the high demand..(?) No matter how high your demand is, don't loose the QUALITY of your product just because you want to get cars out of your business fast like all of the other big businesses competitors. Quality over quantity is my advice to all businesses with a drive thru (that actually care).... the customers can tell, and maybe they won't complain to you guys, but what's even worse is they won't come back. read more

I had asked for no almond butter but I think it was still added accidentally, but it ended up complimenting the bowl. I might just have to ask for it for the following orders. The place is clean, spacious, and is overall really aesthetically pleasing. Along with that, my buddy and I both purchased a smoothie and bulletproof coffee respectively which were both really good. This place would get 5 stars but I have 3 concerns which really soured my view on this place. 1. They charged for serving water cups. In my 26 years of life, I've never experienced this before especially since we were paying customers. 2. My buddy was hungry a few hours after arriving, as we were studying at this place for a few hours. Rather than buying food from the place itself (overpriced and related to my 3rd concern) they don't allow outside food and water. 3. Overpriced. Although the quality of smoothie and coffee we got were good, it was really overpriced for what it is. I would overlook concern #3 if concerns 1 and 2 were addressed but how strict they are puts a bad taste in my mouth. read more
