The soup dumplings had plenty of flavorful broth, and the pan-fried dumplings were crispy, juicy, and really satisfying. The cucumber salad was one of my favorite dishes of the meal--simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The beef noodle soup was also a winner. The noodles had a great chewy texture and tasted fresh, and the broth was rich without being overwhelmingly spicy. It has a nice kick, but it's much milder than it looks. We came in as soon as they opened on a Thursday morning. Alone we were greeted with great customer service! Staff if very friendly. The restaurant was clean and already smelling good. We were taken to our seat and given the menu and paper to fill out. (Similar to the Ding Tai Fung one) and off the bat with fresh cold water. We ordered our usual, pork juicy dumplings, cucumber salad and spicy wontons. But today we decided to add something different. We added the beef broccoli and chicken juicy dumplings, and let me tell you best choice! The beef broccoli has officially become one of our regular dishes. It was PERFECT! The broccoli was still crunchy but juicy, the beef was soft NOT chewy, and the flavor attacked my taste buds! I couldn't stop eating it! The cucumber salad! I could eat it by itself as a snack! It's a very good portion size In comparison to other similar restaurants that have small servings. Super flavorful as well. The juicy dumplings were steamy and as the name says.. JUICY! When you mix the vinegar, soy sauce and chili and dip them.. it creates even more tasty juicy that makes your palate just take in all those flavors. Overall very good experience! The food is very similar to DTF, if not, better. The cucumber salad was a huge portion. Freshly cut up garlic all around to scare off the vampires!!! It was deeeeeelish. The beef roll reminds me of northern cafe's. Perfectly crispy pastry, tender beef and a kick of sweetness. Idk what it is but this is one of my favorite dishes of all time truly. & they do it right here. Orange chicken was light. Not the sticky heavy stuff like Panda Express. This one was tasty & did not make me feel heavy afterwards. A shrimp fried this rice ??? It's great, one of the top I've had for sure. Fluffy, seasoned just right! Service was ON it. Decided to try here after kids swim practice. There was no line and service was quick and friendly. There's quite a bit of booth and chair seating in here and it does get busy here. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, juicy pork dumplings, dry fried green beans and pan fried pork and corn dumplings. Dan Dan noodles were very good and flavorful. So was the dry fried green beans and the juicy pork dumplings. We didn't really like the pork and corn dumplings as much. Customer service was exceptional!! Everyone was so helpful, attentive, and friendly. They have a few pescatarian options but no pescatarian dumpling options. This is not quite D.T.F but for just being able to walk in and get way more food for your money, I would recommend it! The food is good and you get large portions. I tried the shrimp and pork wontons, orange chicken, shrimp chow mein , and beef with scallions . I liked all the dishes. The servers came often to check on our table. We came shortly after it opened on a Sunday so we walked straight into to our booth. My soda was flat so I had to get it swapped. But the food itself was good. It was not very loud in the restaurant and the kitchen was separated from the dining. There was lots of parking. Located in shopping center. Not quite DTF but a close less expensive, less wait alternative. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was hearing news that it is the next dumpling spot, and I was not disappointed. I dined in with my family and we loaded up on the juicy pork dumplings, spicy wontons, beef roll, Dan Dan noodles, green beans, and the orange chicken. The food all around was delicious. The soup dumplings were very moist and filled with soup. The green beans too were so yummy and filled with that garlicky flavor without being too oily. The inside of this restaurant is really beautiful. Warm and welcoming and we were greeted as soon as we walked in . Our server was nice and asked us if we needed help ordering and even made a few suggestions. We ordered the beef roll, very delicious light and herbaceous . Popcorn chicken was light and crispy and seasoned very nicely . We also ordered the orange chicken I really actually enjoyed it and all the pieces were juicy and packed full of flavor. I am surprised by some of the lower reviews! I came here with my husband and really enjoyed our meal! The dumplings were of high quality and the filling was generous and flavorful. My favorite was the pan fried dumplings with shrimp and pork! The soup dumplings had a lot of soup and the spicy wontons has a nice flavorful sauce. I really loved the beef rolls which were packed with beef, cucumber, scallions and sauce! We also enjoyed the shrimp fried rice. The Dan Dan noodles were nicely coated. The only dish that I would probably order instead is the Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead of the diced chicken in chili and pepper. Ambiance--walk in and be greeted by the large, open dining are with plenty of comfy tables and booths. The smell of Chinese cooking oil reminds you of the best holes-in-the-wall, authentic restaurants...but this is no hole in the wall! (Ample free parking too, front and back!) Spicy Cucumber salad--as an appetizer--is enough for 4, with fresh garlic, sesame oil, and fresh (HOT!) red chilis that give it just the right amount of medium spice!). Zingy garlic resonates and thrills the palate in every bite. Dry fried green beans (also with garlic and black beans) was a little oilier than expected. But the green beans were fresh and done al dente--I was expecting more wok hai/charring, but not this time, I guess. Still, the black beans gave a burst of salt and umami-ness with each bite. Scallion Pancakes--while crispy, thin, and well fried in the wok, they were lacking in scallions and a good dipping sauce. I could have used the table-side soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil to make my own, but I didn't have a small dish for that. ‍ Average for scallion pancakes. Finally, the pièce de résistance--crispy pan fried chicken dumplings. Wowza!!! Hot, fresh plump, with that crispy/delicate lattice-work of the pan-fry oils and a little rice flour. The dipping sauce was a well-balanced vinegar and garlic concoction (gotta get a tub of that to go!). And the dumplings were everything you'd expect from a "juicy dumpling factory/house"!! 4.5 out of 5. Prices were a bit steep for the veggie dishes, but I get that fresh veggies prepared well cost. This one hurts a little, because Juicy Dumpling Factory went from a go to spot for me to a maybe not coming back place in about a month. Service was very nice. Sam helped me and she was kind and welcoming. That part was not the problem at all. The issue is the menu change. I absolutely loved their teriyaki chicken. It was the best teriyaki chicken I have had. When I walked in, they told me they no longer serve it. I asked Sam if she was sure and she said yes. I asked her to double check and she came back and said they took it off the menu three days ago. I honestly thought about leaving, because that teriyaki was the main reason I came. I decided to stay and I ordered orange chicken and the cucumber salad. The food was solid. The cucumber salad was good, the orange chicken was fine, but it just was not the same without my go to dish. The staff are friendly and the food is still okay, but without the teriyaki I do not know if I will be back as often, if at all. In my mind this visit is about three and a half stars. On here I am giving Juicy Dumpling Factory 3.5 stars. read more

We wanted to try this new place in Redondo. We came in and got seated pretty fast. The food had good flavor and was pretty good, although a but pricey for what we received (smaller portions/ sizes and the amount of beef short ribs in a tiny plate). Even the salad was a bit expensive given that it was just cucumber ($7.5). It would have been fine if the flavor was out of this world but not quite. Nah, but came to this location after loving the Huntington Beach location down the street from me, and since I was in the area for pickleball, we wanted to try it out. This location is way bigger than the Huntington one, and there was no wait. Servers were great, and overall food was good. We got the cucumber salad, pork XLB, spicy wontons, braised beef noodle soup, chicken chow mein, but were sooooo sad the golden beef noodle soup wasn't served at this location, because it is my favorite by far. Nonetheless, rest of the food was amazing, maybe minus the spicy wontons since they weren't spicy that day. Will be back and again, hope they bring the golden soup over. read more

I love the cypress location and visit there often, so was so thrilled they opened one closer to my home. I didn't get to eat there, so will update this review when I do. I ordered Garlic short ribs - my favorite here and in cypress. Made the same and goes really well with rice. Broccoli - good portion and not overly garlicky Mushroom - it didn't look like a lot from a portion standpoint, but it was good and I combined the mushroom and broccoli dish. Fried tofu - it was good, but I was a little disappointed it wasn't the small cut fried tofu in the pictures it was the bigger cut tofu with the sauce on top. It was good, but I like my tofu plain usually. Egg roll - I never get this and so I was happily surprised ordering for delivery it was still crunchy I definitely will be ordering again! read more
