Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was hearing news that it is the next dumpling spot, and I was not disappointed. I dined in with my family and we loaded up on the juicy pork dumplings, spicy wontons, beef roll, Dan Dan noodles, green beans, and the orange chicken. The food all around was delicious. The soup dumplings were very moist and filled with soup. The green beans too were so yummy and filled with that garlicky flavor without being too oily. The inside of this restaurant is really beautiful. Warm and welcoming and we were greeted as soon as we walked in . Our server was nice and asked us if we needed help ordering and even made a few suggestions. We ordered the beef roll, very delicious light and herbaceous . Popcorn chicken was light and crispy and seasoned very nicely . We also ordered the orange chicken I really actually enjoyed it and all the pieces were juicy and packed full of flavor. I am surprised by some of the lower reviews! I came here with my husband and really enjoyed our meal! The dumplings were of high quality and the filling was generous and flavorful. My favorite was the pan fried dumplings with shrimp and pork! The soup dumplings had a lot of soup and the spicy wontons has a nice flavorful sauce. I really loved the beef rolls which were packed with beef, cucumber, scallions and sauce! We also enjoyed the shrimp fried rice. The Dan Dan noodles were nicely coated. The only dish that I would probably order instead is the Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead of the diced chicken in chili and pepper. We came on a Saturday night and there wasn't a wait, but the restaurant was full. The dishes aren't overly portioned, it's on the smaller side so it's nice to try more items. Sam helped me and she was kind and welcoming. That part was not the problem at all. The issue is the menu change. I absolutely loved their teriyaki chicken. It was the best teriyaki chicken I have had. When I walked in, they told me they no longer serve it. I asked Sam if she was sure and she said yes. I asked her to double check and she came back and said they took it off the menu three days ago. I honestly thought about leaving, because that teriyaki was the main reason I came. I decided to stay and I ordered orange chicken and the cucumber salad. The food was solid. The cucumber salad was good, the orange chicken was fine, but it just was not the same without my go to dish. The staff are friendly and the food is still okay, but without the teriyaki I do not know if I will be back as often, if at all. In my mind this visit is about three and a half stars. On here I am giving Juicy Dumpling Factory 3.5 stars. read more

The food had good flavor and was pretty good, although a but pricey for what we received (smaller portions/ sizes and the amount of beef short ribs in a tiny plate). Even the salad was a bit expensive given that it was just cucumber ($7.5). It would have been fine if the flavor was out of this world but not quite. Nah, but came to this location after loving the Huntington Beach location down the street from me, and since I was in the area for pickleball, we wanted to try it out. This location is way bigger than the Huntington one, and there was no wait. Servers were great, and overall food was good. We got the cucumber salad, pork XLB, spicy wontons, braised beef noodle soup, chicken chow mein, but were sooooo sad the golden beef noodle soup wasn't served at this location, because it is my favorite by far. I love the cypress location and visit there often, so was so thrilled they opened one closer to my home. I didn't get to eat there, so will update this review when I do. I ordered Garlic short ribs - my favorite here and in cypress. Made the same and goes really well with rice. Broccoli - good portion and not overly garlicky Mushroom - it didn't look like a lot from a portion standpoint, but it was good and I combined the mushroom and broccoli dish. Fried tofu - it was good, but I was a little disappointed it wasn't the small cut fried tofu in the pictures it was the bigger cut tofu with the sauce on top. Juicy Dumpling Factory opened in North Redondo Beach in the old Denny's and failed Ayan location. Juicy Dumpling Factory (JDF) is the latest and most promising of the plethora of Chinese restaurants specializing in dumplings to open in the South Bay. I had a craving for their beef rolls which is hard to find in the South Bay. The beef roll standard are the ones served at 101 Noodle Express in Alhambra. The JDF beef rolls fall a little short of this standard, but definitely got the taste and flavors right. The beef was not warm or hot and the amount of beef was on the light side. However, overall, I would rate the beef rolls at JDF as good. No need to drive to the San Gabriel Valley for a beef roll. I also ordered their mango iced tea which was made and served as if you were at a typical boba shop. I would have ordered it at 50% or less sugar level if the option was offered. Service was great and attentive and ordering was fairly easy. JDF is a welcomed addition in upgrading the dining scene in North Redondo Beach. I am definitely a fan and look forward to trying their dumplings and stir fry dishes to mostly likely to my delight in the coming weeks. read more

The food here is very tasty and fresh. There was not one item here I did not enjoy. Service was quick and friendly , restaurant is new and has a chill vibe to it. Building used to be a Denny's. Mapo Tofu was tasty and mildly spicy, you have to order steamed rice to go along with its. Beef rolls were filling and the herbs were refreshing. Chicken Juicy Dumplings were well made and the spicy shrimp wontons were soo good. The seared dumpling with pork, shrimp and chives was probably the best tasting one. Grilled King Oyster Mushroom were delicious as well. I look forward to trying more items on the menu! Nothing stands out about the decor, but it's modern, clean, and good for various sizes from singles to groups. They are friendly, fairly quick, and food was fresh! Recently opened and close proximity to our favorite bakery (Tommy & Atticus) -- welcome Juicy Dumpling Factory! They've got a waitlist tablet at the entry and we didn't wait more than 15 minutes on a Saturday at lunch time. We came hungry and tried an assortment from their menu. We were sad they were out of custard buns so we'll have to come back to try those. All of the dumplings were delicious. Service was fast and friendly! The manager (I think) was kind and checked in on us during our meal and offered us a complementary dish to our delight. The restaurant and bathroom were clean.
