I've been here five times already! It was taken over and I really like this place. The pricing is very reasonable from 12.99 to 18.99. With the cost being so high in the south Bay this is definitely a reasonable price and yummy place to have lunch. It's easy to order. My favorite items for the beef roll.

So much good food, we had to try almost everything!

Customer service was exceptional!! Everyone was so helpful, attentive, and friendly. They have a few pescatarian options but no pescatarian dumpling options. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the side condiments on the table (soy sauce, chili sauce, black vinegar) were well stocked and really clean.

Have been here twice. Not busy during early week day lunch. 1. Pork dumpling/xiao long bao: tastes like Mama Lu*. Was better the first visit. 2. King oyster mushroom: was okay 3. Pan fried Pork shrimp chive dumpling: better than expected* 4. Popcorn chicken: good but wish it was spicier 5. Spicy Shrimp wonton: didn't like the filling 6. Green beans: crisp and flavorful* 7. Pan fried chicken dumpling: pretty good. Would get again 8. Beef with broccoli: was okay 9. Beef roll: not bad 10. Dan Dan noodle: needed more flavor 11. Diced chili fried chicken: probably wouldn't get again *would get again Service was a bit spotty for the first visit. Asked for a spoon to eat the juicy dumpling but never got it. We ended up using the serving spoon. Service was better the 2nd time. Would come again.

Amazing food - great service! Super cute, airy and spacious ambience . We started with the green beans which were absolutely delicious followed up by the spicy pork dumpling, the mapo tofu, the chicken pan, fried dumpling, and the spare ribs with mashed garlic - I don't think there was anything we didn't like the chicken pant fried dumpling ling was so unique and the mapo to be very tofu was amazing! Overall we definitely will be back!

The food was yummy, portion size was good, and the service was fast! The mapo tofu was my favorite of the night because of the spice and the sauce. It pairs well with white rice. The pork and cabbage dumplings were fire. I would have gotten another serving of them if I was hungry because they were so juicy, flavorful, and the cabbage had a great crunch. The soup dumplings and the green beans were okay, nothing special. The beef was charred nicely with a good sauce as well.

So yummy! We were seated and helped almost immediately! Service is outstanding. My friend and I went for lunch around 2pm and there were a few parties seated. We ordered scallion pancakes (a must), chicken chow mein (so good), pan fried chicken dumplings, and the pork and chicken soup dumplings. Everything was so tasty and came out hot! Again, food was so delicious! I really hope they do well.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was hearing news that it is the next dumpling spot, and I was not disappointed. I dined in with my family and we loaded up on the juicy pork dumplings, spicy wontons, beef roll, Dan Dan noodles, green beans, and the orange chicken. The food all around was delicious. The soup dumplings were very moist and filled with soup. The green beans too were so yummy and filled with that garlicky flavor without being too oily. The staff was great and very attentive, watching our tables if we ever needed anything or any help. It's a well lit restaurant and not stuffy. Very happy with my meal today and will be coming back :))

Good and friendly service, plenty of room in a setting and furniture style that makes you feel like being at a Denny's, the servings are generous and the food is very tasty, with prices that won't break your wallet. Definitely a must try if within the area. We liked their soup with the extremely long noodles and the soft meat, like a Chinese birria to give you an idea of its flavor profile. The fried pork was my second favorite, crunchy chicharrones! Their sautéed noodles were nicely seasoned and flavorful. The fried rice we chose the vegetables option and it's an absolute must, double in size than DTF but without double the price tag. Absolutely coming back since it's very close to us!

10/10 this is hands down my favorite place to get Dan Dan Noodles. Great services and fresh food

Orange Chicken ( forgot to take a pic when they say it down , soo the portion size would be bigger than what's pictured )

The inside of this restaurant is really beautiful. Warm and welcoming and we were greeted as soon as we walked in . Our server was nice and asked us if we needed help ordering and even made a few suggestions. We ordered the beef roll, very delicious light and herbaceous . Popcorn chicken was light and crispy and seasoned very nicely . We also ordered the orange chicken I really actually enjoyed it and all the pieces were juicy and packed full of flavor. Will be back to check out a couple other things soon I really appreciate all of the attentive staff who really seemed on top of everything and were constantly checking in on us and all the other guests , customer service like this is really appreciated.

I am surprised by some of the lower reviews! I came here with my husband and really enjoyed our meal! The dumplings were of high quality and the filling was generous and flavorful. My favorite was the pan fried dumplings with shrimp and pork! The soup dumplings had a lot of soup and the spicy wontons has a nice flavorful sauce. I really loved the beef rolls which were packed with beef, cucumber, scallions and sauce! We also enjoyed the shrimp fried rice. The Dan Dan noodles were nicely coated. The only dish that I would probably order instead is the Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead of the diced chicken in chili and pepper. Although it was good it felt oily because it was coated in chili oil. Solid place that I'd go back to!

We came on a Saturday night and there wasn't a wait, but the restaurant was full. The dishes aren't overly portioned, it's on the smaller side so it's nice to try more items. My favorite item was the Shrimp and Pork Wontons, the shrimp made it very bouncy and it was perfectly seasoned with the sauce. The restaurant is a good size with indoor seating. ig: @cravingswithcat

Our usual not-so-usual go-to for Chinese in the South Bay had been Seashore at Calle Mayor and PCH but I remembered the food being somewhat bland on the last visit several months back. We have also enjoyed Lunasia (for Dim Sum) and Ruiji farther east on PCH but it has been a long time (at least for Ruiji) and the reviews and pictures for Lotus looked really good. I also liked the All-Day Happy Hour! $3 house wines, beer and hot sake as well as the complimentary (and delicious) garlic noodles with $50 purchase ($11.95 value). We ordered the Crispy Crabmeat Cream Cheese Wontons ($10), Spicy Orange Crispy Chicken ($21.95), Kung Pao Chicken ($21.95), Sweet and Sour Pork ($20.95), Beef with Broccoli ($20.95), Mongolian Beef ($21.95) and Crispy Honey Shrimp ($25.95). Yeah, the prices, I know, but again the All-Day Happy Hour and the free noods! The food was a hit...everything was great, fresh ingredients, packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken wasn't spicy so don't worry if that's not your jam...the Mongolian Beef was probably my favorite and the crispy honey shrimp was lightly fried "to perfection". I hate that phrase but it is appropriate here, truly. Service was excellent. The food came out very quickly and our server was fantastic. It was my 87 year old Mom's birthday and they brought out a cheesecake and candle for her too. We did have tons of left-overs so it will go a longer way which helps with the cost. HIGHLY RECOMMEND; they've definitely earned the top Chinese spot for me.

Yelp had this place on its list of recos, but there was something about this place that drew me in... ... and it turns out, I have actually been here before. But it has been about 30+yrs since, waaaaayyy before my Yelp years! (SIDE STORY: My GodMom and grandparents used to live a couple of blocks away from here and we often ordered food here back in the day.) They are incredibly popular. All their tables were occupied (granted, there were only three or four) but patrons coming through were non-stop. Staff were efficient as well because given the line (there were three people ahead of me) they got us outta there pretty quickly. I went for half white rice, half noods, black pepper chicken and fried chicken/wings. (NOTE: they packaged the wings separately so it doesn't get soggy from the black pepper sauce - love this!) They were good at providing disposable utensils as well as sauce packets. It didn't take long before I was on my way back to work. Noods had nice flavorful chew. Rice was fluffy. Fried chicken/wings was crispy and savory with a slight hint of sweet. But the black pepper chicken was AM.A.ZING!!! There was so much flavor packed in every bite and couldn't get enough of it! There wasn't a lot of fillers either, so that's a plus. Highly recommending this! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 5. They give you enough for a second meal. PARKING: Lots of space shared with others. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. I couldn't stop thinking about the black pepper chicken that I just had to come back the next day to have it again. Paired it with orange chicken on that second run. Not as great, but it is one of their more popular items. (Most people ahead of me ordered it and the pan got refilled during both visits.) So it was a delight coming through here again as it brought back tons of memories. I even remember making many stops at the laundromat next door. Also drove by my auntie's old house. Ahhhh, good times! I shall return! If only for the delicious black pepper chicken!
