I rarely review chains, but Juicy! (specifically this location) is so good. The concept behind Juicy! is sort of similar to Chipotle, in the sense that it's high-quality fast casual where you can customize your order however you want it. I normally order a platter with chicken or falafel. As far as toppings go, some are a tad extra, but in the end you still get a large amount of food that's well priced. I normally get spiced chick peas, tomato, kalamata olives, and cabbage carrot slaw (though they have a bunch more toppings to choose from). I enjoy putting white sauce over it, while their spicy red sauce is really really spicy so be careful of putting on too much. Really tasty food, big amount of food, and well-priced. I also really want to acknowledge the friendliness of the staff who always say hello to you when you walk in, as well as the quick service. I'm always in and out of the place in five minutes or less. Since moving to Harrison, this place has become one of my go to's! I usually order take out, but so far no issues with missing or damaged items. I get either a platter or pita of lamb + chicken depending on how I'm feeling, but can't go wrong with either. I always get a side order of fries which are delicious and they always give extra so it overfills the cup and you get a generous amount. Goodnight I went to this Establishment and got very mediocre service but still wanted to try the food. I ordered a falafel pita sandwich, my order came out really quick which was surprising but was in a rush so cool . When I got home So SO disappointed with how small and sloppy the sandwich was. I thought maybe my skin color they didn't expect an African American male to order something like that and also can tell how it looks or taste which is the vibe I got while ordering. My only problem is this, When I first order the chicken it was literally the most delicious meal I ever had in my life, no joke, it was delicious. The next day I got the chicken again(which I was thinking about all day) but it was not the same, this chicken was not cut up, it was pulled. It didn't taste as good and juicy as the first time I had it, I only ate half I couldn't with the rest. I gave them another chance and it was the same pulled chicken. Delicious food, fun simple atmosphere. I like the idea of quick ordering for a fresh meal. Many options for add-ons at an additional price. I've had The Halal Guys at their NYC location on 53rd which is the best by far, nobody can top them even their other Cart locations don't taste as good. I've had it at their many restaurant chains and I was disappointed by the lack of authentic taste. This however pleasantly surprised me with their variety of toppings and add-ons!! I loooved that they had Sweet Plantains as an option and they were cooked to Perfection!! Also very high tech on their part that they have ordering computers for faster checkouts. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Juicy! Harrison just opened within the past month, and I decided to check it out. After being an AVID Juicy Platters lover and driving 40 mins to Juicy Fair Lawn in the past to feed my cravings, I didn't know how this new location would meet to my high expectation. But this place RAISED THE BAR EVEN HIGHER. Although the food doesn't differ too much from other Juicy! locations (if you have ever been), I personally just believe that Juicy! has the best chain halal platters there are to offer. The service here is AMAZING; we were greeted with nothing but smiles and nice conversation! One of the many things that had me surprised with this location were their self-serve kiosks/iPads. On top of this, the overall setup and interior design of this location is great. The space is fairly large, and they are very organized with their sauce/condiments section. Honestly, this is one of the best chicken and rice places I have ever had. I rarely ever review anything on yelp but felt like I had to say something. Their white sauce isn't watered down compared to the other guys. And everything is fresh to order. And it doesn't get cheaper than 9 bucks for good quality food. Been here twice and can't complain about anything. Food is excellent, service is quick and you can either order on the computer or at the cashier. So convenient for those who don't want to stand on line. I always order the gyro platter and remove what I don't like on it and add extra things. Came here on Sunday around 1ish and was able to find a table though it started getting crowded after we arrived. They had tablets that you could order at but we just ordered at the cashier. There's a couple options for your base but I opted for the platter with combo which is chicken and beef. The chicken is spiced and they say it's spicy but it's like nothing to me but I guess your mileage may vary. The platter already comes with some cooked onions, lettuce and pita but you can add some additional toppings. Most of the toppings were like a dollar or two extra however. I got the falafel and cabbage slaw. The platter was definitely very filling. They don't skimp on the rice by just putting lettuce there. The chicken and beef were delicious though beef was a little salty. The falafel was excellent and had great flavor. For the price it is an excellent deal! read more
