My teeth are silky smooth and I'm ready to smile big! Julie, the Hygienist who took care of my cleaning today had the best personality. She was funny, personable and most importantly she shoe shined these teeth. A very thorough cleaning indeed. My last cleaning was in July of last year in Virginia... So I searched on yelp to find a good dental office here in SC to take care of my cleaning. I narrowed it down to 2 choices and allow me to tell you with confidence- I will only be coming here again. The Dentist himself was super cool. He is a 2nd generation Dentist. His father was one while serving in the Navy. Salute... and it's funny because he was telling me about his visits to VA Beach and Norfolk (the area I'm from). So we were chatting about some of his favorite spots to visit. Also, as you leave there is a lovely woman offering you cupcakes :) The intake personnel who is in a couple of the photos on their page was super friendly. They are the most conscientious group of ladies and dentist that I have ever been at. They know my name and who I am, and only see me twice a year. I was really looking forward to my first visit here because of the outstanding reviews that I had read about this dentistry, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disappointed. I received a surprise $25 charge for rescheduling my appointment that was never communicated to me beforehand, which was both frustrating and confusing. When I first scheduled the appointment months ago, the woman I spoke to promised to send me a confirmation email with all the necessary details, but I never received anything. Eventually, a second staff member reached out--just one week before my scheduled appointment--and admitted that the original staff member had my email address incorrect and simply forgotten to send it. That already gave me some hesitation, but I still wanted to give the place a chance. Then, when I reached out again to let them know I wouldn't be able to make the appointment on Monday, I was met with a very curt, "You can't do that," and no further explanation or understanding. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially for someone who had never even been there before. As a first-time client, clear communication and a welcoming attitude are really important--and sadly, that just wasn't my experience. I've decided to look for a place that values transparency, follows through on communication, and treats new clients with a little more patience and respect. Excellent office staff. The waiting room was very clean and neat and well decorated. The technicians were very efficient and courteous. Dr. Julian was able to clearly explain his proposed treatment plan and answered all my questions. He also observed on my 3D Xray, that there is a narrowing of my esophagus and discussed the need for a Sleep Study to determine the need for CPAP. read more

I called to schedule a first time appointment in December 2019. I was put on a brief hold and then told they could not schedule an appointment for me because I had canceled 2 previous appointments back in January 2019. I work for DSS so unfortunately my schedule is demanding and if an urgent matter comes up, I may have to cancel. I have some days I was going to be off so I wanted to schedule my appointment during that time but was denied. I understand they have a schedule to keep but it's almost a year down the line and they weren't willing to work with me to schedule an appointment. I will be finding a new dentistry that will be a little more understanding and accommodating. read more
