I am a Newcastle celebrant who loves her job. I am passionate about creating personalised wedding ceremonies that reflect the personalities of those involved. So, there are no boring or out-dated ceremonies here!
Everyone has their own unique love story that deserves to be told- whether you met at the McDonalds on King st or backpacking in Asia, or even if you met in a more traditional location such as at work or online, I will write a beautiful love story about it, infused with a bit of humour. Your guests will be hanging off my every word hearing what you love about each other (and maybe what annoys you too!)
My objective is always to create a relaxed vibe, so that you and your guests actually enjoy the ceremony instead of having to endure it. They will laugh and they will cry. It's important to bring the light and the shade. By the end, the guests will feel uplifted and ready for the party.
I'll explain all the legal requirements to you. You don't need to worry about a thing. I've got that covered! Lucky for you, I am a trained professional with high attention to detail. My husband calls me 'the beautiful organiser'.
You have so many options for personalising your ceremony. I will give you my super-duper 'Couples Kit' full of ceremony inspiration and provide you with lots of ideas for ways to show your personality- ones that you will actually like!
History
Established in 2017.
I was a part-time celebrant when I started. I was working as a Project Officer for a Not-for-Profit while I grew my business. At the end of 2018, I took the leap to become a full-time celebrant.
I am qualified to facilitate the Prepare Enrich Marriage Education program for couple who want help building good communication skills for the marriage.
I mostly do weddings but I also do vow renewals, baby namings, house warmings.
I am also a funeral celebrant and end-of-life consultant.

For me, living a good life means being authentic and contributing positively to my community. Being a celebrant lights me up inside. My oxytocin goes through the roof knowing that I help couples create something beautiful and memorable.
In a former life, I had a career in sports administration, event management and project management which certainly helps me as a celebrant. I am super organised, have great attention to detail and love creating 'a feel good factor'.
Whilst travelling in Ecuador in 2007, I met my Australian husband Cameron. Mine was a backpacker love story, proving that sometimes those holiday romances do last! Adventure is our passion. For our honeymoon we did a ten month trip around the world that included driving across Russia in my parent's old Volvo.
