They also reliably followed-up with the result of tests done. The registration by phone was also simple enough. The one part that was fine but maybe not 100% was the initial reception. For one, not long before we got there, I called ahead and was told the wait time was at least 40 minutes. I get there 20 minutes later and the waiting room is completely empty, which is a good thing but I don't know why they made it seem like they were busy. I parked right in front at a designated spot and text the number on the sign. I completed the registration by phone. But when I went inside I got a cold reception. I said we were there for my daughter's appointment and then got softly reprimanded for having checked into the wrong Atracare location. Except I followed the instructions right on the sign at the designated parking space, so if that went to another location that's Atracare's doing. It's never ideal when you're walking in with a sick kiddo and getting a cold, scoldy reception. Fortunately things picked up from there. I'm not local to any Atracare but I would go back if I needed medical care in the area. I was really happy with the medical staff, the electronic registration procedures, the wait time, and the cleanliness of the clinical area.

On that day he went above and beyond - before I even walked in the front door! I was injured and dreaded the long drive home to Alexandria, Virginia. Due to a huge festival, I could not extend my stay in Ocean City. Not familiar with the area I was calling various Urgent Care centers for treatment. When Jonathan picked up, he was incredible. He made several suggestions for other centers that would offer X-rays. Eventually, I called back overwhelmed after many calls. He looked up my location, my destination, and determined his office was convenient and en-route to my home! This young man was so very helpful, and professional - he showed me the best route home, on my navigation app. He even programmed it for me! I got home in far less time than my trip there. This was truly a relief as I was still having some pain. I highly recommend this place, because of Jonathan. Just be prepared to pay a hefty $260. Because of him, it was worth it.

I was initially told I would not be able to see my previous provider, even though I had received confirmation by text from the office. When I came in to sign the required release of information forms, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and rude, even though she already knew I would be out of state for a week. Only after I showed her the message from the office did she go back and confirm with the provider, who agreed to see me after all. Later, when I arrived for my appointment at the new office on Coastal Highway, the same staff member was there. I arrived five minutes late after driving in from out of state, which the office policy allows to be waived once. I completed all paperwork, but she never checked me in. As a result, the provider came out and took another patient instead of me, even though my appointment was scheduled first. This was extremely frustrating and anxiety-provoking -- especially for someone seeking behavioral health care. The dismissive attitude and lack of basic administrative care made the entire experience feel chaotic and unsafe. I left feeling unsettled rather than supported. I strongly believe this office would benefit from trauma-informed customer service training, especially when working with mental health patients. Front-desk staff play a critical role in patient experience, and this one interaction made me decide not to return.

The front office staff, receptionist in particular, was rude and very condescending. He was extremely unprofessional and spoke down to patients and blatantly had discussions with other staff members at the window talking about patients in the waiting area. It was so bad that several patients in the waiting area were talking and all were in agreement of how disrespectful and rude he was. I also had an appointment at a certain time and waited FORTY minutes to be seen and there was NO ONE ahead of me. In 2024 I would have given them 5* stars (*the doctor was awesome both visits), however after dealing with the unprofessional snarky receptionist, I wouldn't even give it a 1 star. It's a shame because the doctor is great but to be treated by office staff like that, it's a big No for me. On a side note, I would have most definitely had a conversation with this rude gentleman (and I am being kind using that term) however there was a line of people waiting to be checked in and I am not one to cause a scene however I could not let this behavior go without saying my peace. Great doctor, HORRIBLE staff. I highly recommend more training for this "gentleman" if he is to continue on his current career path as he needs to understand that just because someone is not tech savvy, it doesn't make them stupid nor does it give him the right to be condescending. I witnessed two drivers there for DOT physicals (have technical issues filling out paperwork on their phone) and instead of being kind and explaining things (remember they drive 18-wheelers for a living - not sit behind a desk on a phone or computer all day) he was just plain rude and treated them as if they were stupid and then turned to other staff members making snarky comments about the drivers.
