Stopped here one afternoon, cute shop with some brand name clothing but most items start at $15. Not a huge amount of clothes but they did have a discount rack downstairs where I found a brand new item by Nike for $7.50. Area is pricey as we went for some ice cream nearby and it was $9 for a cup. Worth a look.. lots of shoes read more

The shop is beautifully curated, but the best items are strictly for display. I found a couple of dresses I loved on two separate mannequins and was told they cannot remove the items because "it's tough to take off" and seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Absolutely love this store. The community, employees and volunteers poor their hearts and souls into this little shop! The selection of vintage, modern, and affordable clothing is amazing. Also all the prices have been lowered in the past year. Its completely non profit as well. The staff go above and beyond and are extremely personable and friendly. Also, the entire basement is half priced clothes. I will say no place is going to be able to make every single person happy, but this place really cares. If you have a question or concern they will be more than accommodating to help. The entire atmosphere of the store is just calm and peaceful. They even have a book nook with chairs to sit down and read a chapter or two. I absolutely love this shop and you will too! read more

This place is a true gem. The employees are kind and pleasant. One employee assisted me by showing me to the dressing room. Another employee was friendly when checking out, even commenting on how she liked the pants I selected. The clothes are curated and the prices are fair. This used to be my go-to thrift shop, but over the last few months it has changed dramatically. They still have an amazing, beautiful, boutique-like layout and artistic displays, and they have cleaned up their basement, which houses lower quality clothing and housewares, but their prices have become ridiculously astronomical. They are being more selective about what type of merchandise they will accept, apparently in an attempt to promote themselves as a more 'upscale' thrift shop, but their prices are not at all commensurate with what typical thrift shop prices would be for those items. In some cases, they are charging double or triple the current market value. In addition, there are many chipped or broken items, and clothes with pulls, holes, stains, and deodorant markings (yuck), so check carefully. The 'fun buys' are gone, and in the times I've stopped by over the last three months the store has been noticeably empty compared to the past. Such a shame. This place is amazing! Where else can you buy a full 100% silk Carolina Herrera suit for only $25? And all the money goes to an amazing cause. They have everything here from Old Navy the Burberry, Fisher Price toys to Royal Dalton China sets, and everything in between. Also scored some a beautiful vintage Christian Dior tie for only $8. The staff are super friendly, and they even have fitting rooms, which they sanitize between uses. My Yelp bestie JT and I scored leather shoes for $2, and it was a BOGO! That means each pair of our shoes that were an excellent condition with the labels still on them for a dollar each pair! You can't get another deal like that anywhere.Definitely will return , they have new sales every week. read more

Great hidden gem in Roslyn. I have been shopping here for over 10 years and love the items I find! You never know what name brand you will find on the clothing and shoe racks. My kitchen boasts champagne flutes and cocktail glasses that I bought here! I also enjoy bringing my donations here. The money raised goes to help the underserved throughout Long Island. read more

Great antiques and clothing donated to this non for profit store. I've found great pieces of furniture, clothing and housewares. I always donate then end up leaving with something great! The manager Maureen is a sweetheart and so are all the employees. It is hit or miss so it's all luck! They put stuff out all the time so it depends on the donors! They also give you receipts if you donate for your taxes. read more

Varity of used items, always different. Great place to pick up inexpensive items from jewelry to club chair. Fortunately this shop receives most often quality/desirable donations due to an affluent neighborhood. However, there wouldn't be a following for the quality of staff due to lack of customer service skills. Each time I stop in there seems to be a negative vibe in the air. This is a non profit association ...surviving on client purchases and loyalty. One would think client development would be key focus on the success of business. Not here! I went in 15mins before closing and basically thrown out. Even though I said I would be back to purchase later in week, that I was just looking quickly. The manager actually followed me to the lower level and said she had to ask me to leave so she could close. (Early???) When I went upstairs to do a quick walk through, one of the regular woman actually rang cow bells and told me to wrap it up with an angry face and negative attitude. She should be ashamed of herself and the manager seemed to embrace this poor behavior. I am very respectful of customer; especially since I was a top personal shopper for years in NYC and then a retail consultant for years afterwards. My best customers were always the ones who walked in just before closing....(a little basic retail 101 tip!!! ) A good idea would be to reevaluate what is more important; depending on donations alone or improve the quality of sales staff. Either hire experienced nice college students with style and etiquette or retired locals. With some real training from an outside professional not the present manager! Business would blossom and customers would want to go there regularly. Staff is a reflection of management. This shop needs some revamping. This thrift store used to be SO good many years ago. Now, I describe the clothing here as "old ladies and their grand kids' clothing." There is no longer a stitch of vintage or designer clothing to be found, nor much at all that is even fashionable or contemporary. Puzzling. I am pretty sure that they must set the good stuff aside for a pre-buyer who gets first pick, but I can't imagine why they would give it ALL away, leaving the store nearly empty, with only junky dregs. I gave the store quite a few shots recently, but now I give up. When you can't even find anything decent to use for paint clothes, it's time to play taps and close this one down. read more

Coming from someone who shops in thrift stores, department and second hand places-this store is really lacking. Every time I go in the clothing is super dated(not even cute vintage), overpriced and super worn out. I feel like the staff gets the good stuff and keeps it. The downstairs is VERY bland and I have never found anything wow-worthy or worth taking home. It would be cool if they hired an out of college design major to revamp it and place everything in a more appealing way. You'll find better stuff at a savers or goodwill. read more

As an experienced thrifter I give this store a 5 star with another 10 thumbs up! It's is the cleanest thrift shop I've ever been to. There is always a treasure to find! The displays are like no other thrift store. Everything is presented nicely. The manager of the place is always upbeat and helpful, with a welcoming smile. The place must get so many donations - it sells things to raise money for charity- she is always busy but still helpful. Kudos to the charity. I'll see you soon! read more

This store has lots of great housewares! Just like any thrift store, it take a little bit of patience, but there are definitely some hidden gems. I bought a very cool black Helmut Lang blazer for $40! Worth a visit. read more

I have been a customer for over 15 years at the Junior League Thrift Shop in Roslyn NY and have seen many changes over the yers most of which has been good. Within the recent years I have had seen certain things happened which has made me supicious and had my suspisions confirmed today. Across the street from the Thrift Shop is a Tailor ,,,,He walks into the store and leaves with 2 large black bags that appeared to be trash bags and went straight back into his shop all in less than 3mins, Now forgive me if I have jumped to conclusion but I didnot know tailor shops were a place for garbbage.... Someone needs to look into what really happens there and if all donations from the public for the public ever really makes it to the floor.... read more
