So I rented a skid steer with smooth bucket, and harley rake. Surprisingly the deposit fee was not part of the $820 rental fee, but no big deal; what's $1,409.02 when you're getting $600 back and you did not account for the extra cost. So an hour later the equipment shows up on site..We're just a little behind schedule. The Harley rake was used less than an hour, and a hydraulic line busted...can not confirm, but was advised it was due to barbwire caught in roller. The machine cut off and would not start back..found out the fuel gauge was broken and 1/4 is empty. They forgot to pick up the equipment, so I waited around for several hours and could not get anyone on the phone. Equipment sat in my customer's yard for 5 days. Today is almost 1 month since the equipment rental date, and they just returned $150 of the $600 deposit. $600 Deposit -$325 Smooth Bucket Corners Repaired -$75 cleaning fee for barbwire -$0 Skidsteer had a recall that caused arms to hit cab and not raise all the way. Total cost to rent skidsteer for the day $1,270 They were polite.

I'm not sure where he got these two guys but they had no idea what they were doing. One got hurt taking something off a piece of furniture that did not have to be removed, and I know this because it had been moved by another company when we moved to NC. They looked like they were just picked up off the street and given a job with no clue what to do. After he got hurt we waited for someone to come and replace him and no one came. So he did what he could with one hand and were not able to finish the packing the truck which is what they were hired to do. That sat stuff on my dressers and scratched one and also our TV stand. My son-in-law helped them a lot and that should not have ever happened. No refund or any reduction in price was given for the help they received or for the time wasted. They set us back 2+ hours in getting on the road to drive to SC. If you hire this company make sure the guys know what they are doing.
