Hired for a same day service with a description and picture of what I needed removed. Initially quoted as 198$. When the truck and crew showed up, they tried to quote me for $650. When i declined to move forward, they agreed to $200. They also didn't remove one of the items and told me it would be an additional $700 despite me clarifying that I would like the item removed and me sending a picture of it. Helping my family move out and they ordered junk king to come between 8-10am. Junk king shows up at 11:30 am so the person in-charge wasn't present to manage them. BECAUSE JUNK KING WAS LATE! The best company to work with for junk removal! First, came promptly to give an estimate which was very reasonable. Second scheduling via customer service was easy and lots of slots available. Day of service, the guys were communicative, efficient, fast, timely and very helpful. Worked like magic to remove all junk!! We ended up having more junk than anticipated and they came back with another truck, worked out a new quote and finished the work in hours. I was worried but it was so seamless. Junk King was the way to go in cleaning 30 years of junk in my mom's yard. They had their work cut out for them! Steve arrived first and started working hard from the get go and then 3 other guys followed. Eduardo, Alberto, Justo and Steve worked efficiently as a team and all were hard workers! They were FANTASTIC! Please tip them if you see how hard they work! I have actually more junk( that was just the outside- the garage and shed are next to clean 30 years of hoarding!)! And I have my house after her house, so definitely will be using them in the future! I had them pick up a small piano. He quoted me a price but after lifting the piano and putting it in the truck, he gave me a lower price. He said it was easier to carry it than he thought. On the minus side, I did have an appointment between 11-1. They texted at about 10:20 and said they'd arrive at 2 PM. Then they called at 2:30 PM and said they'd be 20 to 25 minutes. They arrived a little after 3 PM. But the lack of timeliness was more than outweighed by the great service. read more

I had a big chunk of concrete I had to get rid of. It used to hold up a old short fencepost, and now it was just an old useless concrete turd that I had to get rid of. I called Junk King and provided them the dimensions. They needed to send someone by to give me a quote, and this was easy to set up. The guys came by for the quote (on time) a few days later and were able to pick it up the same day. I was going to get another quote, but they lowered the initial quote by a little and we had a deal. read more

They came to pick up a bunch of stuff in storage room and 2 items were mistakenly loaded up. I had called junk king 30 minutes after they left to retrieve what shouldn't have been taken. Multiple customer service reps tried to get in touch with drivers to no avail. They even called & emailed the owner multiple times over 24 hours and nobody was available. I called and left a vm to a supposed owner (# given by drivers 24 hours later) and nobody called back. Drivers then confirmed items went to the dump. These sentimental items are now gone. On Monday, 5/20 I googled to find a business that did junk/trash removal. I found Junk King, called and spoke with Tyler. I told him I had an old Queen size mattress that I needed removed from my home. He gave me an intial price but told me that they would work with me. He then gave me a 54% discount. Quick response and very reasonable prices. I contacted them via Yelp messaging to get rid of 2 couches the next day. They were willing to work with me and my budget. Originally they quoted me higher than other places, but they were willing to beat the competition. In the end, this was the cheapest one! You get an email and text confirmation of the appointment. I needed to get rid of a large, heavy 84-inch sofa. I sent a text and a photo, and they got back to me quickly with an estimate that seemed reasonable with their coupon discount. The price was much more affordable than other quotes. On the pickup day, the drivers updated me about the pick-up time. I paid $128.00 PLUS a tip, and they were really appreciative of the tip. Super nice team of three in fact. When you schedule your pickup, you must realize that your drivers might face traffic on the Peninsula, so your pick-up time could be 30 to 45 minutes later than expected. Starting with the easy quote and correspondence of Jennifer, to the fast, friendly a​nd efficient team of Adrian, Marek and Austin, this was the best value for the work they did. Fair pricing, and thorough removal including sweeping afterwards! These guys were great! I sent a photo of my stuff (very little stuff, barely anything, took like 20 minutes) and they gave me a quote. They moved super quickly and all went by smoothly! My only complaint: they said it'd be $89 over text. When the guy got there, he said it'd be $199, which is NOT what I was quoted.... they agreed to keep it at the original price, but they kind of gave me a hard time about it. Overall... They did their best work and made sure we were happy with their work. They put everything where we wanted the saved articles and tossed the other articles in their truck. They were so strong. One even picked up and carried the file cabinet with ONE hand above his head. They worked quickly, never sat down once. We were pleased with their EXCELLENT WORK. Junk King arrived on time, was friendly and efficient in their removal of the furniture I needed to be hauled away (a bed frame, rocking chair, and a crib). But what prompted me to give a good review was something they did that made me incredibly grateful. After they left, my wife and I couldn't find my daughter's special blankie. We were looking at a red-alert situation, so I called Junk King and they were able to locate the blankie lodged in the rocking chair they had taken. A couple of wonderful workers waited in their car before heading home so I could drive over to pick it up. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to do this extra thing for us, they weren't obligated to search through the hauled away items or stay late. I contacted Junk King to take away a major clean up project at my parents house. The estimate process online was really simple to use, and we received an accurate estimate. Due to challenges above and beyond their control, they were not able to pick up items when they were scheduled, BUT they still, called, showed up, and confirmed a time with my parents that would work for everyone's schedule and did the work. They swept and made it cleaner than it had been in a long time, and took everything away we asked them to.
