The inside is also spacious and looks really charming and inviting. It's just a beautiful setting for a meal surrounded by gorgeous old buildings and cobblestone streets and square. The menu here is quite good and lots of classical German food options from the area. They have a daily specials list and some dessert options. They have a variety of beers and drinks including Alt and Kölsch beer from the area. Our waitress was very friendly and engaging and we were all happy with our meal. I had the schnitzel and it was quite ok. Portion was decent and the food was cooked well. My creme brûlée was also quite nice with a thick crunch layer of sugar on top :-) I would happily come here again. It's a beautiful cafe in a stunning location.

We took a seat and were ignored like 10 times by the passing by service lady, who definitely saw us (and our asking looks) every time. So we left without ordering. A pity - but after that we didnt feel like supporting such an unhospitable institution by buying overpriced drinks there. Sorry - only two stars thus.
